我的故乡在凌源。

听老人说，凌源原是盆地式的小城。四面皆山，盆底是城中心，站在城中望去，满眼是贫脊的庄稼地，没有像样的工厂、高楼，没有什么好看的花草树木。有的地方光秃秃的，甚至连一株花，一棵草都没有，实在是不折不扣、土里土气的小农村。

故乡原来的路就是土路相连，很颠簸，晴天车一过乌烟瘴气，雨天则是泥泞不堪。人们大多数靠种庄稼来养家糊口，靠天吃饭，生活没保障。

随着改革开放，我的故乡变得越来越漂亮。人们的环保意识越来越强，每年都植树造林，慢慢地，山上和城中可以植树的地方都变成了一片片绿油油的色彩，原来的平房没了，代替它的是一幢幢崭新、整齐的高楼。荒地上出现了一座座现代化的温室大棚，原来的土路变成了一条条光洁的柏油马路，我们还有高速公路呢！

现在的凌源已变成了富裕、整洁的新农村了，今后，我们要好好学文化知识，让地球变得更美好。

我的故乡是佘圩，它是一个偏僻而又安静的小村庄，它坐落在徐舍镇西面，大约住着一百多人。

村门口有一条笔直、平坦的水泥路通往村中心的小桥上，水泥路的左边是一幢幢错落有致的房屋，有的二层，有的三层。路的右边也有一些房子，但更多的是田野，现在正值春季，田野里到处是黄澄澄的油菜花和绿油油的麦子。远处有几个孩子在菜花丛中追赶蝴蝶。看到这情景，我不禁想起了宋代诗人杨万里写的“儿童急走追黄蝶，飞入菜花无处寻”。黄澄澄的油菜花种在中间，绿色的麦子种在菜花的四周，就像给大地铺上了一条巨大的地毯，黄色的图案，绿色的花边，走近后，还能闻到淡淡的香味，引来了一只只蝴蝶和蜜蜂在花丛中翩翩起舞。风儿吹过，它们摇来摇去，仿佛在向我们招手。

水泥路的前面是一条河，河边种了几株柳树，风儿一吹，柳树就细心地梳理自己的秀发。春雨过后，连接柳树的小草便从泥土里钻出了脑袋，好奇地张望着世界。突然，一块小木板映入我的眼帘。好奇心促使我上前看了一下，只见上面写着十个大字：花草有生命，珍惜靠大家。不知是哪位好心人写的。
