Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. 土地资源就是三大地质资源（矿产资源、水资源、土地资源）之一，此时就是人类生产活动最基本的资源和劳动对象。人类对土地的利用程度反映了人类礼貌的发展，但同时也造成对土地资源的直接破坏，这主要表现为不合理垦植引起的水土流失、土地沙漠化、土地次生盐碱化及土壤污染等，而其中水土流失尤为严重，乃当今世界面临的又一个严重危机。据估计，世界耕地的表土流失量约为230亿吨／年。

有人认为酸雨就是一场无声无息的危机，而且就是有史以来冲击我们最严重的环境威胁，就是一个看不见的敌人。这并非危言耸听。随着工业化和能源消费增多，酸性排放物也日益增多，它们进入空气中，经过一系列作用就构成了酸雨。
