今天是正月十五，是我国传统的节日——元宵节。元宵节是我国的传统节日，又叫“上元节”和“灯节”是自古以来的另一个已有2000年的历史佳节。

An Unforgettable Experience

Last summer, I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days.

The first day, we went for a walk along the seaside, and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day, we went to a famous market and bought many keepsakes. 我清楚的记得那是一个星期天，我独自一人坐车去奶奶家，公交车站的人可真多啊!那里的人真是人山人海，我交了钱，随着人流挤上了车，找到了一个车位，赶紧坐了下来，才长叹一口气。这时，走上来一位拄着拐杖的老奶奶，车才开始启动，慢慢地。车一会走，一会儿来个刹车，走走停停。我看着老奶奶，心想要不要给她让座，刚想站起来，一个声音在我耳边响起：“你花了钱，才找到的车位，不能就这么没了呀!”这时，又响起了一个声音：“不行，不行，人家是老奶奶，如果再来一个急刹车，老奶奶就可能摔倒，说不定还骨折了呢!所以还是要给这位老奶奶让座。”……

从那以后每当我想起这件事，都会有深深的愧疚感!

人的一生从出世到死去，有时候会觉得很漫长，但有的时候却觉得时间过得太快了，有一些事情都还没来得及留住回忆就悄然消失了。

在我的记忆中，有一件难忘的事，这件事是在一次比赛中发生的。为什么这件事让我难忘呢?因为这件事让我明白了一个道理：骄傲使人退步，虚心使人进步，就在前两个星期，我要去比澳门参加邀请赛，我画着浓浓的妆，走到了赛场上，听到裁判说：“三二一”，比赛就开始了。

我们是第三场上场比赛，第一位选手上场比赛时，管理员说：“就这样念念，一眨眼就到你比赛了。”

当然不用谦虚了，于是我就在比赛的门外，又是蹦又是唱的，到比赛时，一眨眼我就比完了。

走出赛场后，我还非常自信地对老师说：“这次比赛太容易了，我一定能拿第一名。”

看到我这么自信，大家都祝贺我，结果成绩出来后，我马上跑过去看成绩，怎么才得第三名?

哎，我真后悔，可是后悔又有什么用?早知道我把在门外又蹦又跳的时间拿来练习一下，说不定成绩会好一些，遗憾的是世界上没有后悔药啊，我再后悔也没有意义了，吃一堑，长一智，以后一定要吸取教训。

这件事之所以让我难忘，是因为我明白了一个道理：谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人退步。

那是一个夏天，太阳洗净了平时的尘埃，尽其所能地炙烤着大地，但我和小伙伴们却不畏炎热，出发了！
