In spite of the flood disaster, a good harvest is still in sight.

Yesterday we went to a nearby village to help the peasants get in the crops. We left our school early in the morning. It took us half an hour to reach the village. As soon as we got there, we joined the peasants in their harvesting work. They taught us how to cut rice, and how to tie it. It was in the fields that we had our lunch. After lunch, we had a short rest. We were fascinated by the beautiful scenery of the countryside. It got dark when we returned home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy.

My best friend is Li Ming. We are in the same class.

He is as old as me, but he is taller and stronger than me. Both of us have black eyes and black hair, but his hair is shorter than mine.

As for hobbies, we have something in common  in some ways. I like the friends who have the same hobbies with me. Both of us like sports. We often exercises together after school. But he is more outgoing and better at sports than me. Besides, collecting stamps is our same hobby, too. We often exchange our stamps with each other.

About the learning, I think I’m a little smarter than him. Most of my subjects are better than his, so I often help him with his study.

那是一年级的事了。

“铃……铃……铃……”放学的铃声响了，我们像小燕子一样飞快地跑出教室，不过我在门口等爸爸，因为他说要来接我，我站在门口等着，等到了同学都走光了也没见到爸爸的影子，爸爸呢？这时门口的老大爷说：“小同学，校门要关了，你快走吧。”没办法今天要自己回家了。可家里这里比较远，我怎么回去呢？今天没跟爸爸妈妈要零花钱，只能自己走回去了。家里的路虽说跟着妈妈走了许多遍了，但自己总害怕记不住路。没办法硬着头皮试试了。

走着走着，我到了一条大马路上，心里的恐惧感顿时消失了。但又有一个问题摆在我面前，我怎么过去呢？以前都是爸爸领过去的。没办法，由只好硬着头皮过了。突然我想到了一个好办法，旁边有很多下班的大人，我跟着他们不就过了吗？又一个难关在我面前迎刃而解了。我跟着下班的大人们顺利的通过了马路。到了家门前的小路，这里已经难不倒我了，我经常在这里跟同学玩，于是顺利地回到了家。

回到家了，爸爸已经在家里了，原来这是爸爸要考验我的一关。我顺利通过了。

I have set up small targets for myself, so I can make progress step by step. For example, when I jog on the playground for 800 meters, I will finish every 100 meters as the small target, so I can finish my task easily. If I think about 800 meters at first, I will lose my motivation and give up quickly. Motivation is like the light in the dark, leading us to reach our destination. It was the Lantern Festival, and my parents took me to the Confucius temple to see the Lantern Festival. Along the way, it was drizzling. One to the Confucius temple, the eyes are all lights, as if into the light of the sea. The lotus lantern on the left, the advertising lamp on the right, looks like two soaring dragons.

all what I want. But my greatest dream is that I want to be an astronaut. Our

Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.
