第二天是正月初一，一大清早人们就回来了。但是人们见村里安然无恙，十分惊奇。避难回来的这时老婆婆才恍然大悟，赶忙向乡亲们述说了乞讨老人的许诺。于是，乡亲们一起拥向老婆婆家，只见婆婆家门上贴着红纸，院里一堆未燃尽的竹子仍在“啪啪”作响，屋内几根红蜡烛还发着余光……欣喜若狂的乡亲们为庆祝吉祥的来临，纷纷换新衣戴新帽，到亲友家道喜问好。这件事很快在周围村子传开了，人们都知道了驱赶“年”兽的办法。

从此以后，村庄太平了。每逢过新年，家家户户都贴对联，燃放爆竹，户户烛光通明，守更待岁，初一一大早，还要走亲串友道喜问好。这个习俗一直延续至今，还越传越广，逐渐成了中华民族最隆重的传统节日。

过年的习俗除了上面所说的，还有很多，比如：贴窗花，贴年画，吃饺子，压岁钱等。我最喜欢的就是收到长辈们给我们的红包了，不仅可以买到很多好玩的玩具，还可以买很多自己喜欢的书籍。

我喜欢过新年，我盼望着20xx年的春节早点儿来到。

别看这节日是多么的喜庆，在它背后，还流传着一个很有趣的故事：在太古时期，有一种凶猛的怪兽，它只会给人们带来坏运气，人们管他们叫“年”，只要它一来，就会使树木凋零，百草不生，而它一走，万物重生，百花争艳。后来，人们渐渐发现了年每次来的时间，就准备了爆竹以驱赶怪兽。“过年”这个词语便是这样来得，从此，放鞭炮也就成了过年的一种习俗。

相传，年这种怪兽生性凶残，村民家里的一些家畜总是逃不过它的眼睛，而且，年还时常换口味，从小吃到大，居然连人也不放过，真可谓是谈“年”色变啊!此事发生后，人们都很恐惧，并且在年到来的那一个晚上，整夜不敢睡觉，也就是现在我们常说的守岁，其实，守岁习俗源于南北朝，有古诗写道“一夜连双岁，五更分二年”这种风俗流传至今，寄托了人们的美好追求和向往。

除此之外，还有一个很重要很重要的一点，就是饺子，过年吃饺子是我们再熟悉不过的了，记得去年我们家里包的肉馅饺子，我也出了一分力，虽说做的不是十全十美，但是也有七分像，我的原则是“管它是啥样，能吃就行，”不过，这也让一些食量大的人，没了胃口，算是我新一年的一点成就吧。其实，饺子的寓意也很独特，利用了谐音，“和”通“合”、“饺”通“交”，二者都是相聚之意，象征这合家团聚。

说了这么多，却漏掉了一个我觉得相当有意思的，贴窗花和“福”字。中国的艺术己经有很悠久的历史了，剪纸也非常的丰富，各式各样的窗花贴满了窗户和家门，既美观，又漂亮。至于“福”字，有两种说法，一是说正贴“福”字，二是说将“福”倒着贴，形式虽不同，但是都寄托了人们对幸福生活的向往，对美好未来的祝愿。

When I am making mistakes, my parents will never be angry with me. I am so thankful to them for they are so tolerant with me. I learn many things from my parents, they show me how to be a tolerant person. They will not blame me for the small mistake that I make, instead, they will educate me in the gentle way. The Spring Festival,also known as the Lunar New Year, is the greatest traditional festival. It is usually a time between late January or early February, which means rest and relaxation between winter and spring after a years toil,and means celebration as well. Before the Spring Festival, people clean their houses, put red couplets on their gates,and set off firecrackers, according to fairy tale, for driving a demon ,named Nian ,away. On the eve of the Spring Festival, a gettogether banquet is a must, and the most popular food is Jiaozi, which is supposed to bring good fortune.On the first day of the new year, everybody wears new clothes and greets relatives and friends with bows and congratulations wishingeach other the best during the new year.

It was the Eve of the Spring Festival.

Dusk was just falling as I slurped up the last bit of rice and laid down my chopsticks.

“Theyre starting!” cried my friend excitedly. “Quick! Quick!”

Outside, children were running everywhere. Their happy voices and faces made me warm inside, despite the cold wind that greeted me. My friend thrust a bundle of straw in my hands. “Come!” he cried. I giggled as I ran to catch up to him; the childrens excitement was a fever that spread to even the big kids like us.

I soon joined a rowdy bunch of children and teenagers who were building a bonfire in the middle of a path that ran through the wheat fields. “Here,”said my friend, handing me a long bamboo pole. “Put some of your straw in the fire. Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. As it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. Later, the ash is used for fertilizer.

过一年，又长了一岁，可是越大，就越觉得年味儿越来越淡，随着通信技术的发展，人们拜年的方式也变得更加多种多样，从电话拜年到手机短信拜年，再到今年流行的微博拜年，人们不出家门，就可以轻轻松松的给朋友家人百拜年问候，也正是因为这个，大街上走街串巷、挨家挨户拜年的人也越来越少。大年初一，除了清晨几声寂寥的炮响以外，街道上显得冷冷清清。无可厚非，信息通讯给我们的生活带来了很大的方便，但与此同时，是不是也淡薄了人与人之间的感情呢?

值得一提的是，今年过年和好久不见的同学们一起去放烟花，烟花在天空中美丽的绽放，照亮了我们灿烂的笑容，一起成长的点点滴滴也浮现在脑海中，凛冽的寒风吹过，但心府却泛起了阵阵温暖，我很庆幸，我们一起长大，我们那么熟悉。对着美丽的烟花祈祷：我们的友谊地久天长。

其实已经过了很多个年了，但每到过年的时候，还总是会小小的激动以下，不知道是发自内心的，还是一种习惯性的激动。可是不管怎样，我还是很喜欢这个节目，毕竟在这个节目里，留下了许多美好的回忆。
