在一阵接一阵的期待中，我们迎来了一年一度的春节。从小在我的记忆中，春节一直有它专属味道，这种味道一直陪伴着我，直到现在。

一味——门前火红的对联

每年刚到大年三十，家家户户都忙着大扫除，把往年一切不好的东西通通都扫出去之后，便开始了最重要的——贴春联。

往往每户人家都会选一副语句都最吉祥的对联贴在自家的大门上，这预示着来年能有一个安定，美好的生活。

比如说我们家，今年大门贴的上联：天增岁月人赠寿，下联：春满人间福满门。横批：姜太公在此百无禁忌。

这些春联在徐徐的春风中微微鼓动，发出脆脆的声响，好像在讲述着那个故事——

太古时期，有一种凶猛的野兽，散居在深山密林中，人们管它们叫做“年”。

年无恶不作，专在大年三十这一晚来吃小孩子，人们恨透了年。但是人们又渐渐掌握了对付年的方法，年怕红色，于是人们就在自己的大门上贴上红色的纸，在上面写上一些吉利的话。这，渐渐就演变成了现在的对联……

相传，在百姓掌握了年的活动规律后，便想出了一整套过年的方法：这天晚上，每家每户都提前做好晚饭，把宅院后门都封住躲在屋中吃年夜饭，由于这晚餐有吉凶未卜的意味，所以很丰盛……

吃完了年夜饭，看着满兜的压岁钱，心里那个乐呀!

年的味道似乎越来越浓了呢!

三味——热闹无比的春晚

吃完了年夜饭，期待已久的春晚便开始了，精彩的主持，优美的歌曲，风趣的小品。是本次春节联欢晚会的一大亮点。

所以说，春节联欢晚会是我们中国人民精神上的又一年夜饭……

享受了两顿丰盛的年夜饭之后，我感受到，我们已经处在过年的气氛之中了……

“10、9、8……3—2—1!”随着春晚主持人的倒数，新年的钟声敲响了，我们又进入了新的一年!

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college， I was working as an intern at my Universitys Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop， I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.

As I looked closer at this girl， I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs， just a head， neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents， I looked back at the girl， who was giving me the cutest， largest smile I have ever seen.

All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl， whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor， unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles， love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. Im a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world， I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.
