书中的主人公是一个孤儿，名叫奥利弗·特维斯特，这本书讲述了奥利弗小时候的故事。他出生在孤儿院，在那儿受尽了欺凌后，被卖到了一个殡仪员的家庭。可是，因为有一次殡仪员误解了他，狠狠地打了他，所以他就逃到了传说中美好的伦敦。但是到了伦敦后，他又不幸陷入了贼窟。

尽管他的遭遇如此悲惨，他却最终坚强地活了下来。在好心人的帮助下，他解开了自己的身世之谜，找到了自己的姐姐，与姐姐相依为命。奥利弗终于有了亲人的关怀和帮助，我也为他感到庆幸。

那时的伦敦有很多穷人，他们都饱受过欺凌，甚至到了走投无路的境地。于是，有的为了生存，就去当强盗，做小偷……他们都没有像奥利弗一样——坚守着心底深处的纯净。奥利弗相信，只有这样，才能为自己找到出路。

再说说加西莫多，他是一个非常矛盾的人，美丽与丑陋在他的身上都显露了出来。丑陋的外表下却有着令人惊叹的善良的心灵，不然，为何在爱斯梅哈尔达被关在牢笼中时，爱斯梅哈尔达没有想到那给了自己所谓的“海誓山盟”的法比，却只想到了救自己于危难时的加西莫多。最终，“人们发现有两具尸骨，一具搂抱着另一具，姿势十分奇怪。……人们要把他从他所抱的那具尸骨分开来时，他顿时化作了尘土。”由此看来，克罗德对爱斯梅哈尔达的爱是为了满足自己的欲望，法比的则是临场作戏，也只有加西莫多的才是真爱。

假期里，我读了一个波澜壮阔又令人悲伤的故事，法国大作家雨果的《巴黎圣母院》。

这是我读过的第一部外国悲剧，剧中有一个美丽善良的吉普赛姑娘爱斯梅拉达，她在广场上翩翩起舞，身后跟着漂亮聪明的小山羊丽丽，她们在我心中就是美丽与智慧的化身，就和我以往读过的白雪公主，灰姑娘一样。而那丑陋畸形的敲钟人卡西莫多一出场就让我厌恶，那个胡乱拼凑起来的身躯在钟楼上来回跳荡，发出怪兽一般的咆哮。“他真像地狱里的恶魔!”这就是美与丑，善良与邪恶的答案吗?

当然读完了这个故事，事实并非如此。

河滩广场上，有沸腾的人群，有威望的红衣主教，有跋扈的士兵，当然还有强悍的刽子手和让人畏惧的绞刑架。爱斯梅拉达死了。她没有像白雪公主和灰姑娘一样嫁给她们心爱的王子，而是死在她曾经跳过舞的广场上，死在她曾经捧给卡西莫多水喝的广场上。她是善良的，却没有一个美丽的童话结局，她白色的裙摆飘散在风中，那时太阳正好升起。

塔顶的眼睛悄悄流出了眼泪。“他的独眼虽然流过泪，但只有一滴，如今却泪水滂沱。”最终搂着自己爱的人死去，化作永不会分开的灰尘。此时此刻丑就在美的旁边，畸形靠近着优美，丑怪藏在崇高的背后，美与恶并存，光明与黑暗相共，雨果说。

最近，我阅读了一本爱情小说-----《巴黎圣母院》。说起巴黎圣母院，想必大家都耳熟能详吧!此书是维克多、雨果创作的历史小说。这不仅是他的代表作，也是浪漫主义文学的代表作。作品以18世纪法国的巴黎圣母院为中心，描写了驼背的敲钟人对一位吉卜赛姑娘的真挚的爱情，同时揭露了当时的统治阶级的丑恶嘴脸。

巴黎圣母院里住着道貌岸然且性情乖戾的副主教克洛德神父和驼背的丑八怪卡西莫多。卡西莫多对克洛德神父忠心耿耿，百依百顺。有一天，貌若仙女的吉卜赛姑娘爱斯美拉达出现在他们两人的面前，起舞翩跹。她是那样的美丽而神秘,始终带着一只有金色犄角的山羊。

I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It’s pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the he-ro-in-e,though I didn’t think she’s beautiful. But she’s smart. However, I didn’t pay much attention to the plot. I thought it’s so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven’t read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice. In fact, I didn’t understand the story at that time. I didn’t know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn’t find where’ s the prejudice. I thought it’s normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. I’m a prejudiced person so I can’t find where’s wrong.

I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

读完《巴黎圣母院》，我不禁感慨雨果如此精湛老练的手法，即使这座教堂已屹立在塞纳河畔几百余年，但在大作家眼中，仿佛一眼望穿了整个教堂的兴盛衰败、荣耀屈辱，从中更折射出雨果所一直探究的人性的发展。

我认为书中真正的主人公是敲钟人卡西魔多，他是作者呕心沥血写成的一个集人世间所有丑陋的外表于一身——独眼、聋子、驼背……他从小遭人唾弃，被辱骂遗弃直至副主教收养他。也造就了他厌恶教堂外的世界，在世界上只与副教主一人敞开心灵，对其惟命是从的孤僻奴性性格。起初，我对这个人并无好感，只是认为他是雨果笔下批判的教皇统治下的走狗，他对他的主人是如此顺从，不惜生命为主人夺走吉卜赛女郎艾丝美拉达，对待外人又显得如此暴躁。但或许这一切是有原因的，造成卡西魔多孤僻的个性根源在于人间对他的冷漠，是外人因神学观念的渗透抛弃了他，让他从小饱尝并视为恶魔的滋味，换做是谁，恐怕心中也无法褪去这致命的伤痛，何况卡西魔多是个聋子，他根本无法听见人们的心声，但他能用独眼清晰看到人们狰狞的嘴脸，他无法辩解，只得用更加凶暴的外表来保护自己，其实他内心是如此脆弱不堪。

但最终，我还是看见了卡西魔多的内心世界。当他在受刑时受到了曾被他伤害的艾丝美拉达的帮助，他泪如泉涌，那皱缩的脸上是感激的泪光，从此他选择了守护这个女孩。他自知自己的丑陋永远无法让人接受，他便选择了暗处。只有在那里，他才能抛去他最致命的缺点战战兢兢的瞥一眼艾丝美拉达。当艾丝美拉达与队长坠入爱河时，当万人视她为魔鬼连曾经的队长也对她敬而远之使她濒临绝望时卡西魔多将她救出。当社会被神学所压迫丝毫不讲公平之时敲钟人却始终保持着内心的纯洁与感恩。原来他是如此这般善良。但最终艾丝美拉达难逃一死，而卡西魔多则用生命完成了对艾丝美拉达的守护。

雨果用淡淡的一笔画出了一道精彩的尾声，不仅为文章增添了悲剧色彩更表达了他内心对于封建愚昧的痛恨。而卡西魔多便是他笔下那个敢于反抗追求自由的人。他有先天不足，但又是他最大的“利器”，他可以肆无忌惮地做他想做的，遵循内心而不受人情世故的毒舌。他敢于反抗，当看到主人凶恶的内心他毅然决然的背叛了他置他于死地。他虽然表面粗野让人难以靠近，但他内心却如此的细腻热情。他虽然从小在教堂生活着，但并非被这愚昧蒙蔽了双眼，他是整篇文章中唯一让读者看到人性美好的人，或许，我错怪他了。

大概这也是雨果的内心独白，他一生为国家正义用文字与黑暗斗争，或许他被视为异类被批判，但他粗犷坚忍的外表下是一颗永远火热的心。

Pride and Prejudice is a novel written by the famous English writer, Jane Austen, who was the sixth children in a family of seven and was born in the village of steventon in Hampshire in 1775 and died of Addison’s disease in 1817. The book first published on 28 January 1813 by the bookseller Thomas Egerton who had also published Sense and Sensibility, the original version of the novel was written in 1796-1797 under the title First Impressions .

Pride and Prejudice is a love story, mainly tells the love between Elizabeth and Darcy. It divided into 2 volumes and is composed of 42 chapters altogether. The major characters are Mr. Darcy, A rich and proud young man. Elizabeth, the second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet. Mr. Bingley , A rich young bachelor. Jane, the first daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Bennet. The story begin with Bingley’s arrival. One day when Mrs.Bennet hear Bingley has taken Netherfield, a house near her’s. She is so happy and arranged one of her five daughters marriage with him. At a ball, luckly, Bingley and Jane fall in love at the first sight. Darcy, a friend of Bingley’s , was attracted to Elizabeth, a lively and spirited girl. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcys hands.

One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. But One day Darcy send Elizabeth a letter, in which he justifies the separation of his friend Bingley and Jane and make it clear that Wickham is. So Elizabeth changed her opinions and ideas toward him. Once when Elizabeth visited her uncle and aunt in the north of England, she met Darcy there and witnessed his changes through series of behaviors, no longer pride and become gentle and attentive, all these made their marriage arranged, and they also suitably provided for Bingley and Jane’s reunited and engaged. The story ends with both their happy marriages.

My point of view towards the masterpiece of Jane Austen’s is that this novel reflects the English human sentiment of the end of 18th century and the early of 19th century under the circumstance of conservative，and tells us the difference ways and attitudes to marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet’s five daughters’. Thereby reveal the author herself attitude towards marriage, that is love and marriage based on money, property and social status is not perfect, but it is also stupid Without considering all of these. There, the author emphasize the importance of ideal marriage, meanwhile, to be opposed to love & marriage based on money or property and to be opposed to people’s laugh love & marriage off.

The author takes the affection/love as the cornerstone of ideal marriage between male and female. Elizabeth as the leading character in this novel, was born in the family of squireen’s, and is loved by Darcy. Darcy propose marriage to her in spite of difference in the possession of property and social status, but is refused byElizabeth for his pride , the novel demonstrate that if the pride of Darcy’s existed ， there will be no love and also happy marriage between Elizabeth and he, it is really nice that Elizabeth witness the changes of Darcy’s through series of behavior in the following days.

Viewing that he is no longer pride and then eliminating her prejudice to him, finally engaged with him and leading a happy marriage. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave. So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But the warden killed the young prisoner the only man that knew Andy was innocent. Then he knew the prison he could not stay any more. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.

As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined.
