We are always told that examinations aim to check what we have learned. But I don‘t think so. Examination is not the best way‘, especially in the primary school. In the drawing above, a man carrying a large load accidentally steps on a womans foot. Given that he gracefully apologizes, the woman both accepts his apology and assures him not to worry.

The man and woman depicted interact with each other in a courteous and compassionate manner. The woman understands the man did not intentionally step on her foot, and therefore whether or not she is in pain, she does not attack or blame him. Because she is able to view the situation from his perspective, conflict is diverted. Mutual understanding such as this is a fundamental aspect of civilized society.

Some people tend to think the worst of others and become angry over even the smallest of matters, regardless of how their own actions are disturbing in turn. It is generally believed that a high diploma guarantees a promising future. Some people identify high diplomas with profound knowledge and exceptional competence. Companies also tend to emphasize the academic achievement of a job candidate. Like it or not, there does exist a social reality – the higher diplomas one gets, the more popular he becomes。

On the contrary, other people claim that a high diploma doesn’t automatically translate into knowledge. A diploma, in their eyes, is only the acknowledgment of one’s educational experience rather than a guarantee of one’s ability. And My FlatI live in a flat in a building. The building is very modern. There are about ten floors and I live on the top floor. I think my flat is very wonderful. The dining room is next to the kitchen.

第一招：默。老师让我们每个晚上供固两课生字表的词语，如果觉得自己复习还不如默一遍好，也可以默一遍。当然，为了防止有些人不做这个作业，第二天老师都会默一遍抽查。我每回都全对，到现在都还没错过呢!可是我也不是每次都复习。但对一些对生字生疏的同学，可奏效了!

第二招：做。老师买了许多测试卷让我们做，今天一张，明天一张，后天一张……这可击中了我的弱点，我每天都得做到8—10点种才能做完，这免不了一顿臭骂。不过，我觉得期末忙一点是不可避免的，而且做试卷也是对自己的一种评估。

第三招：学。就是把整本语文书再简要的学习一遍。我们的学习速度很快，一节课就能学完一个单元。我也十分喜欢学，经常抢着回答问题，因为这就像把搭好的窝再搭得结实点，知识就能更好地被掌握，对我们的复习有莫大的帮助。

别看这三招很普通，可十分实用，让我们更有信心地去迎接期末考试。
