Our miracle story comes from an incident that occurred in Flanders, Belgium, at the dawn of World War I. On December 24th ,1914, German and English troops faced each other from the relative safety of their ditches across which no man’s land lying between them. 说起圣诞节，我会毫不犹豫地想到我国春节，一个是美轮美奂的圣诞树，一个则是古老文化的传统剪纸窗花;一个是风趣横生的圣诞老人，一个则是台上笑盈的主持人，两者似乎毫不相干，但是，中国的春节与西方国家的圣诞节是一样的，是一样的一个盛大的节日!

我，一个炎黄子孙，却喜欢一个西方国家纪念耶稣的节日。虽然在中国圣诞节没有什么深刻的意义是西方国家流传而至的，但是，很多人想让中国的圣诞节也像我们想象中那样盛大那样有趣——

自小，我就在想：圣诞节有圣诞树，还有即使是不存在的有趣的圣诞老人，还可以同学朋友之间互相送礼物，如果中国的圣诞节也像春节那么盛大该多好啊，每家有一棵高至天花板的碧绿碧绿的圣诞树，经济好的有好多棵，圣诞树上挂着一件件精美的礼物，还邦着一个艺术无与伦比的大蝴蝶结。有兴趣的人们还可以穿着圣诞老人的衣服当夜幕降临人们都睡时，拿着一大袋一玩具小玩意儿小东西小零食，悄悄地一家一家送去。还可以把自己的一些要好的朋友约到家里一起过个圣诞派对，自己精心准备一些小东西，虽然是不值钱的，但是这才是真正无价的友谊;一起做一顿还意思的饭，他来问做好没，他说快了，然后西红柿就砸在了他的脸上;一起装饰屋子，他说凳子再往右点，他刚一出手，他就站不稳了;一起打打闹闹，几个房间都是满满的人，他把枕头打在他脸上，他又将鸡蛋打在他脸上……

大人们也玩的日日夜夜，在外面与同学们讨论心事自己的喜怒哀乐酸甜苦辣，与曾知心交心的朋友谈心……

圣诞节，如果变得这样轰轰烈烈，那么圣诞节将是人们最欢迎的一个节日!

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.

But it, too, seemed immovable.

As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.
