Good morning,everyone! I`m very happy to have this chance to give my

presentation. Before I start my speech, please let me ask you a question. Do you

My topic today is “ to Be a Confident Person.”

What is confidence? Confidence is to trust yourself. Confidence is to look

upon yourself. It is not to indulge in self-admiration. It is not to get

extremely arrogant. It is not to get dizzy with success or to be opinionated. It

is just to inspire yourself ahead of a quality of mind, in high spirit, full of

energy. It is to meet the challenges of life in a positive mood. It is to

overcome your inferiority, farewell, to get rid of the trouble of a a ready-made

panacea.

Remember, I have just entered junior high school. In the face of the

challenge of new environment, in the face of so many new courses and learning

contents, I lost faith in my own and gradually developed a psychological sense

of inferiority. Achievement glided ceaselessly. It is a teacher and mother who

encouraged me and let me regain confidence. Gradually, my grades got higher and

还记得，我刚刚升入初中时，面对新的环境，面对那么多的新的课程和学习内容，我对自己失去了信心，逐渐产生了自卑心理，成绩不断下滑，是老师和妈妈及时帮助我、鼓励我，让我重新找回自信。渐渐的，我的学习成绩及各个方面都有明显进步，逐渐适应了初中的生活。

My Net Friend

I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the Internet. One day, mom was not at home. I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net. The first one I met there was a boy called Tom. He greeted me politely. When he knew that I was only a 9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net,he started showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to send e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

I am studying in a middle school now, this is my second year. Studying in

the middle school, I have many subjects to learn, I always want to do the best,

so I focus all my attention on the study. My teacher tells me that I should not

what she says, then I get sick easily and I can’t focus attention. So I learn to

do some activities, I play basketball, I find myself really enjoy outside

_年的钟声敲响，一场无硝烟的战争开始了，人们大都沉醉于快乐的新年中，然而新型冠状病毒的出现，打破了在外游子回家团聚的愿望，就在前几个星期前，人们都还是按照往年一样准备着回家过年，可谁知新型冠状病毒的蔓延速度如此迅速，刚开始许多人并不重视直到后来疫情严重，人们才渐渐的明白这次的新型冠状病毒来势汹汹，但春运依旧进行着，这也加速了这次新型冠状病毒传播如此之快，从刚开始的27例到现在的14423例。

随着疫情的发展，人们也意识到了这次疫情的严重性，很快，以武汉为首，封城封村向外扩散开来。这个行动隔离了病毒，但它却隔离不了爱。除夕之夜，原本是家人围炉团聚、促膝守岁的美好时光。然而，在这个特殊的时刻，广东、重庆、西安、江西、北京等地的医院医护人员纷纷写下请战书，奔赴武汉前线，志愿与这场无硝烟的战争抗争到底。

从84岁高龄的钟南山院士亲赴武汉，到15名医务人员确诊被病毒感染，再到梁武东医生的牺牲…医护工作者们不计报酬、无论生死，在人民与病毒之间砌起高墙，在没有硝烟的战场上冲锋陷阵，“他们是白衣天使，更是每个人心目中的英雄…国家所需、百姓安危为重，个人生死、物质得失为轻。在医护工作者身上，我看到他们高风亮节!“哪有什么白衣天使，只不过是一群平凡的人披上了一身载着使命的外衣。“这是一位医生的话，朴实而圣洁!我看到了中华民族的凝聚力!让我们向在祖国各地依然坚守岗位的无数医务工作者致以崇高的敬意!

在网络上我们可以看到在前线的“战场上”，疲惫了一天的白衣天使们卸下他们的盔甲，满是斑驳，身上满是隔离服和口罩留下的痕迹，多次消毒的手不复从前，满是坑洼。这怎能不另人动容?他们多是笑笑，继而又义无反最地奔向战场，不嫌苦不嫌累，依旧坚守自己的岗位，他们不为亲人的劝阻而放弃，坚定自己的信念，他们是真正的战士!

随着病情的扩大，火神山医院和雷神山医院成为我们的焦点，参与建设的所有施工人员都在与死神赛跑，因为他们知道，越早建好人们就多一份保障，最终在经历了五天五夜的奋斗后火神山医院全部通电，将于2月3日正式收治病人。就在1月29日18时23分的时候雷神山医院也通电了，也将于2月6日正式收治病人。这对我们来说真的是一个令人欣喜若狂的好消息。

在这次没有硝烟的战役中，付出心血的不只是医护人员和施工人员， 还有很多身处武汉等地的普通民众，不惧疫情蔓延，主动投入到防疫一线做志愿者;有的武汉人暂时没发现身体异常，也坚定地选择留在武汉，避免出去后，万一感染到其他人员。不知你们有没有看到韩红在微博发布的抗击疫情发布的捐款人名单……还有很多人一起对抗着这次无硝烟的“战争”，我们要始终相信这个生病了的武汉会好的，我们都还等着吃热干面呢!武汉，一定要加油啊!

我不是武汉人，可我是中国人!一直来我日日关注疫情，心系武汉，因为我们有同一个母亲——中国!我每日祈祷，和我们祖国千千万万的子女一样，祈祷我们早日战胜这场没有硝烟的战争。全国上下各方人士齐心协力，众志成城，携手共渡难关。我坚信：武汉必胜!中国必胜!

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free.

I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live

alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at
