著名作家张抗抗说：“我可以舍得用很多钱去帮助别人，却舍不得把一个好好的东西或事物丢弃。我不是为了钱而节约，而是为了节约而节约。”节约是无关乎钱多还是钱少的一种品德，因此，无论我们贫困还是富有，节约，从我做起。

说起节约，大家可能马上想到爱惜粮食，节约水电。是，少浪费是节约方式的一种，但不是全部，废物再利用更是节约的重点。比如经历过“水荒”或停水的人们应该颇有感受，淘米、洗菜的水存下用来擦地、冲厕所，洗脸的水也用来冲厕所。这时候的水得到了充分的利用，平时的废水得到再利用，这不就是废水的再利用吗?试想，如果平时都能像闹“水荒”时那样废水再利用，那将会节约多少水啊。这就需要人们能养成一种废物再利用的习惯，增强节约意识。生活中类似的现象还有很多，比如垃圾分类处理，不但利于环保，还可以将可以再利用的垃圾收集处理后生成新的产品，一举多得。

然而，我们身边浪费的现象比比皆之。当我们随手扔掉一块馒头的时候，我们是否想到自己的父母也许正在为全家人的一餐饭食而辛苦奔波?当教室或者家里的电脑、风扇或者电灯在“孤独”工作的时候，我们是否想到西部山区还有很多孩子仍然在点着蜡烛的教室里上课?当我们奢侈地用大量的自来水换取一点凉意的时候，我们是否意识到我们在糟蹋水资源的同时，其实也是在毁灭一种希望，一种让蓝天、碧水、绿地永存的希望?

记得，我在报纸上曾看到这样的一则新闻：把废纸推到进料口，经过200多米的流水线里的“洗礼”，废纸就完成了它的再生历程，变成了白洁平整的卷筒新闻纸。然而从本地回收的废纸，在原料组成中还只是极少一部分。这家公司用于生产新闻纸的原料，绝大部分是远涉重洋从美国、加拿大运来的废纸。 我很费解：明明我们国家有大量废纸，干吗还要去进口别人的废纸?原来，我们的废纸至今没有明确分类。其实，我们的举手之劳为垃圾分类，懂得循环利用，就会让资源浪费的遗憾少一点。

节约是一种风度，循环是一种科学，也是一份社会义务的担当。同学们，勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之，现在就行动起来吧，让我们从一滴水、一度电，一张纸，一颗螺丝钉做起，让循环再利用真正成为我们的一种生活方式和生活习惯!
