舞火龙，是香港中秋节最富传统特色的习俗。从每年农历八月十四晚起，铜锣湾大坑地区就一连三晚举行盛大的舞火龙活动。这火龙长达70多米，用珍珠草扎成32节的龙身，插满了长寿香。盛会之夜，这个区的大街小巷，一条条蜿蜒起伏的火龙在灯光与龙鼓音乐下欢腾起舞，很是热闹。

香港中秋舞火龙的起源还有过一段传说：很早以前，大坑区在一次风灾袭击后，出现了一条蟒蛇，四处作恶，村民们四出搜捕，终于把它击毙。不料次日蟒蛇不翼而飞。数天后，大坑便发生瘟疫。这时，村中父老忽获菩萨托梦，说是只要在中秋佳节舞动火龙，便可将瘟疫驱除。事有巧合，此举竟然奏效。从此，舞火龙就流传至今。

不管这传说有多少迷信成份，但中国是龙的故土，在香港大坑中秋节舞火龙已有一百多年的历史，这是值得珍视的。如今大坑区的舞火龙活动规模颇大，除总教练、教练、总指挥及指挥外，安全组等等。轮番舞龙者达三万多人。

中秋节的习俗二

上海中秋节风俗，有祭月和烧香斗等。祭月时，当月亮升起，于露天设案，供以月饼、瓜果、毛豆、芋艿和藕等食物，还供有执着捣药杵站立的玉兔月宫符画。旧以月属阴，祭月时由妇女先拜，男子后拜，也有说是“男人不拜月”的，祭月完毕，一家吃团圆酒、赏月饭等。妇女回娘家暂住的，中秋夜必须返回夫家，因为这是团圆节的缘故。中秋夜出游赏月，上海人叫做“走月亮”。妇女们结伴夜游，称为“踏月”。上海小东门外的陆家石桥，桥下面水中荡漾的皎月倒影，与天空中的皓月形成美妙对照。因此中秋夜游人如织，争相观赏。这“石梁夜月”在上海很有名气，被称作“沪城八景”之一。

上海民间还有烧香斗的风俗。所谓香斗，也有称为斗香的，是由纸扎店制作的，形状四方，上大下小，大的四周各宽约有二尺多。香斗四周糊着纱绢，绘有月宫楼台亭阁等图画，也有的香斗用线香编绕而成，斗中插有纸扎的龙门魁星以及彩色旗旌等装饰。上海中秋节烧香斗的场面，向以南园为最盛。此外，城里城外许多大桥的桥堍都点燃有特制的大型香斗。

中秋节的习俗三

盼望已久的中秋佳节终于到了，人们兴高采烈，以各种节目形式来欢度这个传统节日。这天刚好是我叔叔的生日，大家一起在酒店里聚餐，庆祝生日，共度佳节。
