In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. In the end,I will do more exercise this new year to keep healthy.I like basketball very much,so I can play basketball with my friends to become healthier.

As we all know,the environment around us is getting worse and worse.In some places we cant see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills.Some people even have no clean water to drink.We should live a low-carbon life in order to protect the environnment . we can go to school on foot or by bike instead of taking a car.We had better use shopping basketbets instead of plastic bags when we go shopping.We should use both sides of the paper when we write.Dot use paper cups.At our school dinning room,use our own bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones.We can reuse the water and save the electricity.In a word,if everyone pays more attention to our environment,there will be less pollution and our life will be better.

我们都知道，我们周围的环境越来越差。在一些地方，我们不能看到鱼在河里游泳或树木在山上。有些人甚至没有干净的水喝。我们应该过一种低碳生活为了保护环境。我们可以去学校步行或骑自行车代替开车。我们最好使用购物篮代替塑料袋当我们去购物。我们应该使用纸的两面，当我们写。不要使用纸杯。在学校食堂，用我们自己的碗，而不是一次性的筷子。我们可以利用水和节约用电。总之，如果每个人都关注环境，将会有更少的污染，我们的生活会更好。

中国互联网络信息中心( CNNIC ) 2004 年发布的《第十四次中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》显示，截至 2004 年 6 月 30 日，我国上网用户总人数达到了 8700 万，上网计算机总数现达 3630 万台。在上网用户中，男性多于女性，占总人数的 59% ，超过八成( 82% )网民的年龄在 35 岁以下。

调查显示，电子邮箱被广泛使用。我国互联网上网用户中 84% 的人经常使用电子邮箱，这成为他们在网上进行沟通的最主要渠道。其中，每位用户平均拥有 E-mail 账号 1.5 个，平均每周收到电子邮件 4.6 封(不包含垃圾邮件)，发出邮件 4.3 封。 60% 的人使用电子邮件与同事或有工作关系的人联络， 52% 的人通过这种方式与朋友交流。
