那么文明是什么呢?文明是发现同学有困难时的热情帮助，文明是平时与人相处时的理解与宽容，文明是见到师长时的亲切问候，文明是自觉将垃圾放入垃圾箱的一举一动……文明就体现在我们平时生活中的细小事情中。

做文明人，就要讲文明话。文明用语是文明人的一种基本素养，它能增进同学间的友谊。然而平常在与小朋友玩耍时，总会听到一些小朋友乱说脏话，让人听起来很不舒服，甚至伤害到他人的自尊心，这不利于同学之间的团结，也得不到同学们的喜欢。所以我要记住，无论何时何地，都要讲文明用语，不讲脏话。

做文明人，就要学会尊重他人。常言道“你敬我一尺，我还你一丈”，最近学校门口来了一个很老的乞丐，他向同学们点头哈腰，多数同学不屑一顾，视而不见，还有的同学会戏弄他，总之没有一个人肯尊重他，都认为他不配得到尊重，但他都忍过，一言不发。每当同学们像看怪物一样嘲笑他，戏弄他时，我心里特难受，的确他没有值得我们学习的地方，但我们至少要尊重他的人格，你可以不给他钱，但要尊重他乞讨的权利。我觉得一个人如果不能学会尊重他人，也肯定得不到别人的尊重，因为你不讲基本礼貌。

做文明人，就要自觉养成文明习惯。比如在学校吃饭时不能随便浪费粮食，课间不乱打乱闹，爱护公共卫生，不乱扔垃圾，爱护环境，人人有责。

一个社会上的人都讲文明，就会形成一个文明的社会。创建一个文明社会是我们每一个人的责任，文明要从我做起，从现在做起，养成良好的文明习惯，讲文明话，行文明事，做文明人，让我们社会的文明礼仪之花绽放每一个角落。

文明行为的主轴来自市民意识和道德素的提高，关键是素质教育到位，从现在做起，从自我做起，人人遵章守则，不做损坏形象的事，对影响世园会大局、影响城市形象的都不能看作为小事。一是不要在大街小巷，公共场所随地吐痰，乱扔杂物果皮。二是不能让宠物在人行道上随意大小便，及时清理宠物粪便。三是加强广告管理，加大追责惩罚力度，坚决取缔小广告制止乱写乱画乱贴。四是加强城市门面出租车管理，开文明车，制止乱停，急刹车转弯违章驾驶。五是落实卫生城达标措施，消灭卫生死角。做到绿色环保，低碳生活，为我们天空多画一道蓝，为我们空气多添一份鲜。六是使用好文明用语，让市民学好常用的几句文明英语。让每个微笑，每一个友好的动作，展现出唐山人的素养。要发挥志愿者，形象大使的作用。要发扬唐山人憨厚、好客、良好传统，践行社会主义核心价值观，做诚实友善的唐山市民。

朋友们，文明行动是办好世园会的通道，让我们积极行动起来，扎扎实实，是脚踏实地去努力，让我们共同携手，一起迎接世园会的到来，真正把世园会办成展现唐山实力，彰显唐山魅力，永不落幕的世园艺盛会。

We cannot fail to notice that countless uncivilized behaviors exist in our daily lives, such as spitting, talking loudly, littering, saying nasty words in public places and so forth. All these are bad manners that we should not lose sight of. As an ancient land enjoying a splendid civilization spanning over 5,000 years, China is witnessing a surge in improper acts that every Chinese citizen should feel ashamed of. 自从开展告别不文明行为活动以后，我们班大多数同学能遵守，不过也有少数不遵守的。例如：我们班的王文静，她是我们班最脏的一个，特别是她抽屉里非常脏，都是一些零食袋。同学们帮她整理过，她又弄得乱七八糟，后来，老师开班会时说：“告别不文明行为要从我们每个人做起，要从细节做起。”王文静最终明白了老师说的话，自己暗下决心：要让同学们对她刮目相看。从此王文静变处干净了，抽屉里整理得比以前好上百倍呢。同时我们班的纪律也有很大的好转。

当老师在讲第二个问题时，我突然想起了一件事来，我自己有没有变化呢？其时我的变化也很大。以前我的脾气非常暴躁，从来不听老师的话，有时还不能按时完成作业，自从开展告别不文明行为的活动以后，我下决心要听从老师对我的教育，对老师对我指出的毛病我认真改正。困此我的学习成绩有了不断的进步，喟然老师不表扬我，但我自己表扬自己就行了。

其时我们身边有许多感人的事呢。比如上次老师让我们抄两篇作文，沙思宇没有带作文本，她就向她旁边的同学借了一下，可他只有一本，但他还是毫不犹豫地借了给她。这些其时也不是什么感人的事，不过对于我们小学来说却是很感人的了。

如果同学们真要想告别不文明行为，首先要做到诚实守信、遵守纪律、宽容待人、学会感恩，只要同学们能做到这些就一定能告别那些不文明的行为。
