说起重阳节，相信同学们有一丝陌生。其实它离我们的生活并不遥远，昨天是九月初九，它刚刚从我们身边掠过。在赏菊，登高，插茱萸的重阳节后，我今天国旗下讲话的主题是敬老，爱老，尊老。

或许，在与自己的爷爷奶奶相处的过程中，有一些不愉快的事情。有一次，我去我爷爷奶奶家，当时爷爷不在，只有耳朵不好的奶奶独自一人在家。我站在门前，看着那扇紧锁着的大门，敲门，呼喊，甚至打电话，我想尽了一切我能够做到的办法。可是奶奶依旧没有听见。出来开门的并不是奶奶，而是隔壁的邻居，看着他们疑惑的眼神，夹杂着几句指责，我只得一一向他们道歉。强颜着欢笑，心中却有数不清的愤怒与不悦。后来，爷爷回来了，当我迈进家门时，本想怒斥的我却平静了下来。展现在我眼前的仍是一副看过无数次的平常的画面，奶奶依旧静静地读着报纸，神情是那么的悠闲，一切的一切只是因为奶奶的年迈，我怎么忍心去指责她呢。只要一起与爷爷奶奶吃顿饭，聊聊天，这些微不足道的小事，对他们来说是非常高兴的。

生活的车轮滚滚向前，让我们在新世纪高举敬老爱老尊老的旗帜的同时，身体力行，献出我们全部的爱心与孝心，抛下“人不为己，天诛地灭”的自私观念，弘扬尊老敬老爱老的优良传统，为老年人创造良好的条件，让世界处处阳光灿烂，爱心闪烁!
