暑假，漫长而又炎热。每次一到暑假，我都会和朋友到少年宫的游泳馆去游泳。但是这个暑假，我却不能去。因为发生了溺水事件。 summer vacation, long and hot.Every time I get to the summer vacation, I will go to the swimming pool of the Juvenile Palace to swim with my friends.But this summer, I cant go.Because of drowning.

那一天，游泳班像往常一样上课。有一个小孩趁教练不注意游到了深水区，等到他感到害怕时为时已晚。他极力挣扎，感到自己的身体慢慢往下沉，想叫教练。但教练已听不见他微弱的求救声，因为他的求救声早已被其他孩子的嬉戏声所覆盖。他沉了下去，只有平静的水面还冒着泡。

等到教练发现他时，把他救了上来，火速送往医院。经诊断，大脑已经死亡，他成了植物人。溺水事件的发生，引起了市领导的高度重视，并要求游泳馆停业整顿，再也不允许去游泳了。

这次事件，不仅给了我们一个警告，也给了游泳馆一个惨痛的教训。在没有出事的前几天，我去游泳馆游泳，游泳池里的水异常得寒冷。游泳馆为了获得暴利，水温很低也不采取加温措施，影响消费者的身体健康，去游泳的人即使进了游泳馆，没游一会儿就走了。但从这些现象中，游泳馆非但不知悔改，反而更加变本加厉。一期游泳班有三十多个学生，却只有一两个教练。正是他们的贪心，才导致了这样的悲剧发生。

站在每个企业的角度来讲，只有企业的产品或服务让消费者满意了，才能赢得信誉，赢得更多的利润。如果只是一昧地获取暴利，就会失去所有的市场，失去消费着的信赖，也就无法在社会上有立足之地。

就是站在我们学生的角度来说，暑假了要时刻注意安全。生命是珍贵的，来之不易;生命也是脆弱的，稍不注意，就会失去。我们还没有经历过太长的人生，我们美好的人生才刚刚开始，别让生命之花还没有开放就凋谢，别让幼苗还没有长大就夭折。

视频中，有的学生独自到不知水情的地方游泳;有的学生在下水之前没有做热身运动，出现手脚抽筋;有的在河边玩，一不小心掉到了河里……这些都导致了溺水事件的发生。在我国，每年有五万七千人溺水身亡，相当于每天就有一百五十多人溺水身亡，而其中四分之一的是中小学生。根据有关部门统计，溺水死亡约占中小学生意外死亡人数的一半，溺亡，是中小学生的“头号杀手”。

因此，我们一定要有安全意识，牢记以下几点：

1、不在无家长或老师带领的情况下游泳;

2、不独自到河边、池塘边玩耍;

3、不私自下水游泳;

4、不到没有安全保障的水区去游泳;

5、不到不熟悉的水域游泳;

6、不准在见到有人落水而自己又无能力救护的情况下擅自下水施救或者避而不见逃走，要采取大声呼救及报警等措施。

同学们，让我们行动起来，预防溺水，珍爱生命吧!

乡村游记(A TRIP TO the COUNTRY)

One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
