2016年4月22日是第47个“世界地球日”，我国今年确定的“世界地球日”主题是“多样的物种，唯一的地球，共同的未来”。绿色、低碳、环保是全社会关注的话题，也是株洲市两型社会建设改革的题中之义。面对日益恶化的环境和日趋枯竭的资源，我们再也不能麻木不仁，每个公民、每个企业和团体都应该行动起来日常生活消费和生产做起，以“绿色消费”和“绿色生产”为行为规范，用共同的行动，为保护地球的生态环境尽一份责任。为此我们向全体市民提出如下倡议：

一、倡导绿色生活

1、拒绝白色污染。尽量在家或学校餐厅就餐，减少难降解的方便袋、泡沫饭盒和一次性筷子的使用，远离白色污染，坚决抵制白色垃圾。少用甚至拒绝用瓶装饮料、水等，出门尽量自带水杯。选择绿色包装，减少垃圾灾难，拒绝过分的豪华包装。

2、消费肉类要适度。过度放牧是造成全球荒漠化的最主要原因之一。对肉类的消费要节制适度，不要既给环境造成压力，又给自己的身体造成负担。

二、倡导文明行为

1、从身边的点滴小事做起，不随地吐痰，不乱扔果皮、纸屑，用举手之劳自觉维护周边环境的干净整洁，不乱扔垃圾，不论是在室内室外，做到将垃圾带走，把道德留下。

2、自觉保护生活环境，积极参与社会绿化美化活动，保护生物，保护绿地花木。爱护绿色，不随意践踏草坪，采摘花朵，不乱折树木;爱护身边的一草一木，将爱心留给新的生命。

3、践行“1135”绿色出行，出行尽量不要开车，多走路、骑单车、利用公共交通系统，减少温室气体排放。

4、实行垃圾分类回收，推进循环再生。使用环保电池，防止汞、铬污染、做好废旧电池等污染环境物品的回收;

三、树立节约观念

1、节约纸张、注重环保。节约用纸，必要时才用纸张打印，尽量双面使用，尽量少的使用餐巾纸，使用再生手纸或手帕。

2、节约用水，减少水污染。节约用水，关紧水龙头，平时多用器皿以循环利用水资源。慎用洗涤剂，减少水污染。

3、节电节能，环保低碳。不用电器时要切断电源，少乘电梯爬楼梯，既省电力又健体,节约用电，做到人走灯灭，杜绝出现 “长明灯”的现象。

4、支持可再生能源，充分利用风电、太阳能、小水电、生物质能等可再生资源，不要让能源耗竭。

我们生存在一个共同的家园——地球，面对地球资源的日趋枯竭和人类环境的日益恶化，地球上的每一个人都应积极行动起来，呵护生态地球，共担绿色责任!为促进转变发展方式、推进生态文明建设贡献力量。

早上好!4月22日是一个大家可能不知道的节日--世界地球日。世界地球日活动起源于美国。1969年，美国民主党参议员盖洛德·尼尔森提议，在全国各大学校园内举办环保问题讲演会。

当时25岁得哈佛大学法学院学生丹尼斯?海斯很快就将尼尔森的提议变成了一个在全美各地展开大规模社区性活动的具体构想，并得到很多青年学生的普遍支持。1970年4月22日，美国首次举行了声势浩大的“地球日”活动。

这是人类有史以来第一次规模宏大的群众性环境保护运动。作为人类现代环保运动的开端，“地球日”活动推动了多个国家环境法规的建立。1990年4月22日，全世界140多个国家、2亿多人同时在各地举行多种多样的环境保护宣城活动。这项活动得到了联合国的首肯。从此"地球日"成为"世界地球日"。世界地球日活动旨在唤起人类爱护地球、保护家园的意识，促进资源开发与环境保护的协调发展。

人们还随手丢垃圾，那发臭的河面上漂浮着垃圾、树枝上挂着塑料袋、草地上堆着果皮和纸屑。环境遭到了很大的破坏，清清的小河、绿绿的森林、蓝蓝的天空都消失地无影无踪了地球渐渐被毁灭，人类也会渐渐死亡。人类只有一个可生息的村庄那就是地球。可是这个村庄正被人类制造出来的各种环境灾难所威胁：水污染、空气污染、植被萎缩、物种濒危、江河断流、垃圾围城......为了保护我们赖以生存的环境，让我们一起行动吧：

1.减少或不要使用一次性用具，使用可重复利用和可再生物品;

2.提倡使用充电电池，回收废电池，集中进行科学处理;

3.不乱丢垃圾，把它们丢进垃圾桶里，并积极参与垃圾分类;

4.爱护野生动物，注意提醒他人不吃野生动物;

5.积极参加植树造林活动，提倡在庭院内养花种草;

6.尽量多次地使用每一滴水，节约每一粒粮食;

7.尽量使用绿色交通工具;

8.积极宣传环保，协助阻止破坏环境的行为发生;

9.提倡绿色消费，积极参与环保科技实践。

Water is one of the most valuable resource in the world, is the ideal liquid to sustain life. Mammals in vivo is between 60% and 65% water, two-thirds of the human body weight, 99% of the brain, bones are about 44% water. Lack of water, the human and the earth will not survive, forests will disappear, the plant will perish, the earth will appear the boundless desert, signs of life will disappear.

Currently the worlds fresh water accounts for only 2.5% of the total water resources, of which more than 70% is frozen in the arctic and Antarctic ice sheets, and it is difficult to use the snow on the mountain glaciers and permafrost, 87% of the fresh water resources is difficult to use. Humans really able to take advantage of the freshwater resources is part of the rivers and lakes, and groundwater, accounts for about 0.26% of the earths water.
