In 1948, the first World Health Assembly called for the establishment of "World Health Day" to commemorate the birth of WHO. Since 1950, every year in April 7th to celebrate the world health day. Each year as World Health Day a theme selected key fields observed by the world health organization.

世界卫生日是一次全球性机会，注重于影响国际社会的主要公共卫生问题。世界卫生日启动较长期宣传规划，持续至4月7日之后。

4月19日至25日，是第46个世界地球日主题宣传活动周。围绕今年世界地球日的主题：“珍惜地球资源转变发展方式——提高资源利用效益”，国土资源部办公厅下发了《关于组织开展第46个世界地球日主题宣传活动周的通知》，倡导部各直属单位、科研院所、学会、协会、基金会等作为宣传活动的主体力量，充分发挥特色宣传效应，面向社会开展丰富多彩的宣传活动。

主题宣传周期间，国土资源部将发布《2014年中国国土资源公报》;国土资源部和教育部将共同启动中小学生地球科学素质教育普及工程;中国地质调查局利用中国科学技术馆“科学讲坛”平台，举办世界地球日专家主题论坛;大陆动力学国家重点实验室等国土资源部重点实验室，在活动周期间均举办开放日活动，免费或优惠向公众开放普及地球科学知识;中国地质学会将联合北京市科协，面向中国地质大学、中国矿业大学等十余所高校在校大学生，举办地球日活动主题演讲活动。届时，还将发布2015年度国土资源部科普示范活动计划和2015年全国国土资源优秀科普图书，《会飞的恐龙》4D特效电影首映活动也将在中国科学技术馆举办。

The earth is our home, the environment is closely related to our life. Humans consume enormous amounts of water resources and environmental pollution, have a beautiful earth destroyed not decent. Water gradually less, plants and animals endangered... All this because human dont pay attention to protecting the environment.

People cut down trees everywhere, and now the world average cut 11 million hectares of forest a year, this is such a big number! People with throw garbage, the floating on the river stinking garbage, the dirty plastic bags hung on the branches, the dark skin and confetti were piled on the grass. Have done great damage to environment, river, forest green, blue sky has disappeared, the earth is destroyed gradually, humans also gradually die.

人们到处砍伐树木，现在全世界平均一年砍掉1100万公顷森林，这是一个多么大的数字啊!人们还随手丢垃圾，那发臭的河面上漂浮着垃圾、那肮脏的树枝上挂着塑料袋、那黑黑的草地上堆着果皮和纸屑。环境遭到了很大的破坏，清清的小河、绿绿的森林、蓝蓝的天空都消失的无影无踪了，地球渐渐被毁灭，人类也渐渐死亡。

原来，地球有着清澈的小河，绿绿的森林，蓝蓝的天空。古代，有多少诗人赞美过地球美丽的环境啊!人类既是环境灾难的制造者，也是环境灾难的受害者，更应是环境灾难的预防者。我们要从自己做起，从小做起，携起手来，共同保护环境，保护我们的家园。为我们的孩子们留下碧水、森林、蓝天。

让我们为了美好的明天共同努力吧!

人类创造的知识财富，如同浩瀚的海洋，博大精深。人们常把小学、中学、大学阶段的学习形容为在“书山“上攀登，在“学海“中遨游。所以，我们应该多读书，用书来净化心灵，用书中的知识充实自己。

在我们的生活中，如果总是太过于被动地去读书，往往是体会不到读书的乐趣的。捧一纸书香，打开一点温存的光，就那么静静地看着文字随着时间的舞步从你眼前滑过……这时，你就会感觉到，读书是一件多么让人快乐的事情!读书是一种心情，那一抹书香带来的舒坦是最好的心理试剂。去读书吧，你一定会有更多的发现。

多读书，还应读好书。读书要应有个选择性，对书本中的知识也要有选择的采纳，就是所谓取其精华。

可是很奇怪，当我再次看到美丽的“喷泉”时，那张节约用水的纸条又出现在我眼前。我像个小侦探似的躲在门后。一个小姑娘进来了，看起来她像个一年级的学生，她很吃力地把写有“节约用水”的纸条贴在墙上，然后洗完小手走了出去。我震撼了，一个低年级的小姑娘都知道为节约用水尽自己的力量，而我已经是三年级的学生了，头脑里还丝毫没有节水的意识。后来随着年龄的增长，我逐渐知道了有限的水资源是经不起浪费的，中国在世界上属于严重缺水国家，许多大城市已经限制用水，而我们甘肃的定西地区更是以干旱贫穷而闻名于世的地方。

我们张掖地处黑河流域，背靠祁连雪山，表面上看起来暂时不缺水，但是每年肆虐的沙尘暴，给人们生产生活带来的不便，又说明了什么呢?我们的生态环境需要水。我们只有从小树立节水意识，并向周围的人们宣传节约用水的重要性，从小做起，从我做起，才能真正为保护水资源，保护我们的生存环境做出一点努力，不然的话，我们的子孙后代吃什么喝什么呢?

节约用水不是一句空话，而是要从每件具体的小事做起，养成良好的用水习惯。只要人人都节约用水，建设节水型社会的目标一定会实现。

今天是联合国第43个世界地球日。“十二五”期间地球日主题宣传活动的主题为“珍惜地球资源，转变发展方式”。

纵观全球环境现状，实在令人难以乐观，只要打开报纸、电视、电脑等等媒体，多种多样的不幸消息扑面而来，震撼心扉：全球变暖、冰川融化、海平面上升、冰冻雨雪、洪涝干旱、台风、地震、火山爆发、沙尘暴等等灾害不断呈现在我们的眼前。人类不断地向自然环境排放废弃物，不适当地开发利用自然资源，造成了严重的环境问题。人类的生存环境在日益恶化，我们的地球母亲已不堪重荷!

人类只有一个地球，我们要保护自己赖以生存的家园!为此，我们诚挚而强烈地向广大居民朋友们发出如下倡议：

1、 购物时用布袋取代塑料袋;

2、 拒绝使用一次性筷子;

3、 不用电脑时以待机代替屏幕保护;

4、 每天少开半小时电视;

5、 及时拔下家用电器插头;

6、 合理节约用水;

7、 纸张双面打印、复印;

8、 用电子书刊代替印刷书刊;

9、 用电子邮件代替纸质信函;

10、 用手帕代替纸巾;

11、 减少使用过度包装;

12、 合理回收城市生活垃圾;

13、 积极参加全民植树;

14、 减少粮食浪费;

15、 减少畜产品浪费;

16、 每月少开一天车，多以自行车代步;

17、 住宿宾馆时尽可能自带用品。
