After four years’ extensive training in science and engineering with a focus on microbiology and biotechnology in the last one and a half years, I am fully absorbed in biology and their various novel applications. I have been consciously strengthening my research ability by teaching myself advanced knowledge including microbial physiology, microbial statistics. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
