首先我检测蜗牛是益虫还是害虫。我用一些食物来检测几只蜗牛。我先找来了白菜叶、馒头和肉等食物，然后又捉了几只蜗牛，给它们分别编上号后，再把它们放到这些食物面前。大概它们都饿极了， 很快爬向自己喜爱的食物，几只蜗牛不约而同地爬上了白菜叶，大吃起来，而其他的食物，它们则不闻不问，不一会儿，白菜叶便被吃光了。于是，我断定蜗牛肯定是大害虫。
