The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It’s pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. “人可以失败，但不可以被打败。”是桑提阿果的生活信念，我们生活中又何尝不是呢？中国篮球运动员——姚明，之前虽然只占身高优势，打球技巧并不理想，但他并没有放弃，经过他坚持不懈、努力地训练，终于成为一名篮球巨星；有一些同学起初成绩不太理想，经过自己不断地复习、理解、运用、努力，成绩逐渐上升；有一些商家新推销的产品售卖不出去，损失了大量资金，但他们并没有气馁，而是通过其它的方法把产品推销得越来越广，销售数量也在大幅度的提高。

失败后，再努力，再坚持，终会功夫不负有心人。从这句话中我想到了自己，记得以前学跳舞时，因为我经常懒床，所以每次的训练都会迟到，并且训练时还会哈欠连天，睡眼朦胧，至于老师讲的要领自然成了耳边风，所以训练效果很不理想。导致在比赛中，大家都获得了奖杯，而我却一无所获。可我并没有因此而放弃，我改掉了懒床的坏习惯，我学会了坚持，学会了努力，我把舞蹈中的每一个动作，都反复练，坚持练，直到自己觉得标准、满意为止。经过我持之以恒的努力，我成功了，在全市少儿舞蹈比赛中获得了金奖。一个人活在世上，要勇敢地面对磨难和失败，要耐得住寂寞，忍得了痛苦，受得了失败。

坚持，坚持，再坚持！坚持就是胜利。人生就如心电图，一帆风顺你就挂了；人生就是一场赛跑，前面的路漫无止境，只有不断向前跑，才能够成功。我们要学习桑提阿果坚持不懈、永不放弃、不屈不挠的精神。我们每每遇到挫折与困难时，都不要气馁，要坚信“坚持就是胜利”，并朝目标努力奋斗，就一定会取得成功！

读了《老人与海》，我对故事中的老人产生了敬佩之情。

故事中的主人公圣地亚哥是一个“倒霉”的老人，连续84天没钓到鱼，出海第八十五天，经过两天三夜的奋战，终于钓到了一条大马林鱼1500多斤。然而，天气变幻莫测，在返航途中，一条鲨鱼多次袭击，老人和鲨鱼展开了一场很好的搏斗，大马林鱼被鲨鱼吃掉了，一条鱼骨架的老人终于拖着一条光秃秃的回家。

老人与海，一个强大的力量来对抗自然，我们都面临着一些学习和生活的挫折，与老渔夫相比，真是小巫见大巫。他的手上满是老茧，皮肤也已经被刺眼的阳光斑点，破碎的渔船，无法抵挡的暴雨，但他并没有放弃对生活的希望。他和小男孩聊起了棒球，去酒吧喝酒聊天，每天早晨在第一缕阳光前去钓鱼。不管他有没有收获，他都会坚持捕鱼，不仅仅是因为他必须靠捕鱼为生，而且捕鱼已经成为他生活的一部分，这是他的记忆。最后一次钓鱼，他钓到了一条大鱼，但在返回香港的路上，他撞上了鲨鱼的袭击，他毅然拿起鱼叉捍卫自己辛勤劳动的果实。虽然最后一条大鱼被鲨鱼吃掉了，只剩下白色的骨架。但是他坚持不懈的精神得我们敬佩。

回想一下老人的话：“人不是为失败而生的，一个人是可以毁灭的，而是不能被打败的”这是多么坚强的信念啊，他独自一人去捕鱼，在多次受到鲨鱼的撕咬下，自己辛辛苦苦捕捞的大马林鱼，就这样变成了鱼骨。面对这样巨大的损失，渔夫并不在乎，还能以乐观心态来应对。如果我们能学习渔夫坚持不懈的优秀品格的话，那么我们就会取得很好的成绩。

渔夫坚持不懈的精神让我想到我的学习，我的学习总是时好时坏，并不稳定，那是因为我的学习总是不坚持做课后习题，每一天只读半小时的书就算完成作业了。如果成绩不好的话就奋起直追，然后就渐渐好了起来。如果成绩好的话，又“旧病复发”了。如果我能坚持不懈地学成的话，成绩将变得更好。

我要向那位渔夫学习，学习他那坚持不懈、持之以恒的精神。

从四姐妹的身上让我学到了很多：乔让我学会了朝着梦想努力奋斗，就一定会成功的：贝思让我看到了生命是脆弱的，让我懂得了不论是愉快的还是痛苦的事情，都要微笑着面对生活。

我读完了《老人与海》这是我第一次读这本书受到了很多的启示。

这本书的作者是(美国)欧内斯特·海鸣威写的，他写的是一位穷困不堪、厄运连连的老人，在海明威的笔下如此坚忍不拔，勇敢顽强。

这篇故事主要讲了：有一位老人，他有一位孙子，这位老人是专门钓鱼的，在孩子小的时候，老人教会了小孩钓鱼的技能，不久孩子长大了，不想离开老人。就天天和老人住在一起。一天老人要出海，他要去很远的地方去捕鱼，他没有让孩子去。在途中老人受到了很多的折磨，最后钓到了一条非常大的鱼就准备回家，可是鱼身上的血，吸引了很多的鲨鱼。老人为了让鱼不被鲨鱼吃掉，就跟鲨鱼搏斗，在我印象中最深刻的一次是老人看见鲨鱼要来抢肉时，赶忙拿起舵，在鲨鱼的脑袋上不停的敲打，可是鲨鱼抢走了一点鱼肉。结果还是鲨鱼赢了!老人只好垂头丧气地回到了家。孩子看见了老人回到了家，孩子便说：“我们可以一起去钓鱼了，我会给你带来好运。”

读完了这个故事：我从这位老人身上体现了人的真正价值，以及强悍的硬汉精神。突然我想到海明威说的，一句话：“人可以毁灭，却不可以被战胜。”这时我才想到，人最重要的东西不光光是时间，还有生命所体现出的价值。
