Shakespeare in Love

Hes fought and hes fallen

Hes on his knees before hes on his feet

A sinister romantic

Oh, hes about to be and shes about to see

Teachin torches to burn bright

Shes hanging on the cheek of night

A snowy dove trooping with crows

He never saw true beauty till tonight

CHORUS:

Shell take him to the brink of deliverance

Show him that much

Oh, dont you know it

Oh, dont you know it

So he falls in love to feel that hes falling

Shell let him know his heart

Oh, dont you know it

Oh, dont you know it

Thats Shakespeare in love

Hes fought and hes fallen

Hes on his knees before hes on his feet

A glittery romantic

Oh, hes about to be and shes about to see

His bountys boundless like the sea

His love is endless, just as deep

The more he gives the more he has

`Cause both of them are truly infinite

CHORUS:

Shell take him to the brink of deliverance

Show him that much

Oh, dont you know it

Oh, dont you know it

So he falls in love to feel that hes falling

Shell let him know his heart

The author pays homage to Hans Christian Andersen‘s compassionate tale with this faithful adaptation. Kids can relate to the duckling‘s dilemma; part of the growing-up proceis pulling away from those around you and developing a strong sense of self. Children have also witnessed or experienced the teasing that is part and parcel of childhood.

This agelestory speaks acrogenerations with its reaffirming message. In this age of instant gratification, Andersen‘s tale reminds readers that some things are worth waiting for and that a pleasure deferred (whether by choice or necessity) is often the sweetest one of all.

Pinkney‘s descriptive passages resonate with the splendor of nature‘s beauty. The glowing watercolors, filled with intricate details, make each blade of gravisible, and the delicately drawn, nearly transparent mosquitoes are as ethereal as they are in life. The subtle details incorporated into the scenes--a frog catching a passing fly at the pond and a tiny mouse perched by a crate in the old woman‘s cottage--make children take another look.

One day he heard a sound of whirring wings, and up in the air he saw a flock of birds flying high. They were as bright as the snow that had fallen during the night, and their long necks were stretched southward. Oh, if only he could go with them! But what sort of companion could he be to those beautiful beings?

‘I am too ugly even for a dog to eat,‘ the duckling thought. Jerry Pinkney‘s poignant text and rich artwork convey the timeleappeal of this tale of hardship and redemption. Anyone who has suffered the sting of ostracism can sympathize with the ugly duckling‘s plight and will relish the uplifting conclusion.

I dont like them, so deep to sing "one hundred years of solitude". Any book in my here, it is a mirror, led his own at the same time, also means we used to ignore the fact that. Im thinking, their fate of sorrow. They were so hard perseverance and luster, but there is a so ridiculous and boring life. I had a fear, and fear of my life, to protect my parents, my on the material to meet them, in the spiritual support them.

I also deeply realized that a reality. A person, when there is love and ideals, there will be a lonely. The more we love, more lonely.

Then, this day, for me, although it is the only one year, but it will not perfect. "One hundred years of solitude" boone diaz family each person, they all of life is decided by childhood, a scene in a moment, it has affected their rich and long life. Walked to the end, I could have, but also is the scene of the moment, just at that moment, have without any emotion, as if, the moment has been at his side, and he was the one who has been lost.

I hope I can dont like them, in the process of life, committed to the initial imperfection, has been lost.

Open the heart, embrace the world of good, be a doomed not to complete, but happy people.

This is the birthday of speech. Not happy birthday to myself, but I wish yourself open-minded contentment.

"The gift of the magi" tells a story like this: in order to buy a platinum fob chain for her husband as a Christmas gift, his wife, sold a head of show hair. And her husband for the same purpose, sold the ancestral gold watch for his wife bought a set of combs. Although each others gift lost use value, but they get more important things than feelings, love, is priceless.

After reading it, I ask: arent rich couple, but it can in the ordinary day make such a remarkable thing: for the sake of each other, regardless of their completely. It is because they love each other, so would do such extraordinary things. By contrast, how much I pay for others? In life, I always for a little dispute, with others, haggle over every ounce, finally do more harm than good, bad credibility instead, why dont I learn from them, care about each other, and what is bad? I should really reflect on yourself.

"Lover one constant love", only care about each other and love each other, for the sake of others, the world wouldnt be so indifferent and cold.

The story created a classic tough guy image. Tells the story of Santiago Cuba old man in the boundless sea fish caught eight days, but in the eighth day of the story, he caught a big marlin in the open sea, the old man in fighting with the marlin hand slashed, but he never give up, finally around three days later, will it uniform.

However, Santiago is not good luck, because he after uniform marlin, a grey whale sharks can smell the flavor of the marlin, he swam down to Santiagos fishing boat, ready to eat the marlin, so injured Santiago was at grey whale sharks and picked up the spear, when the moment of the assassination of grey whale sharks, have bite a piece of fish meat, grey whale shark defeated, but as a result of marlin tail meat is bitten off, so much more blood flow, it will let more sharks smell marlin, to marlin. Later, again there are two sharks come, really narrow scalloped hammerhead, shovelnose, but were Santiago uniforms, can be on the way back to Hong Kong, Santiago and ran into a large group of sharks, at this time of Santiago was exhausted, but Santiago also forcibly hold himself with the shark fight, even though he went the full, but in the end the big marlin was eaten, the old man back to the port of big marlin only a skeleton.

So I understand the life road twists and turns, long and full of challenge, but as long as our unremitting efforts, no matter the result is failure or success, is worth people respect.

I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyers life.

Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

The Scarlet Letter offers an extraordinary insight into the norms and behavior of the 17th century if American Puritan society. The basic conflicts and problems of its main characters, however, are familiar to readers in the present. The female protagonist, has borne a child out of wedlock and has been jailed for over three months and sentenced to wear a symbol of her adultery,a scarlet “A” on her dress at all times. It concerns about the moral, emotional and psychological effect of the sin on people in general. It’s not simply a love story or a story of sin.The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne uses the scarlet letters to symbolize the harshness of Puritan society, showing how they brand sinners for life.

The story happened in Boston about 200 years ago.It narrates love affairs between three persons. The punished woman.Hester Prynne and his husband.Who called himself Roger Chillingworth .He is an old misshapen man and a doctor.Hester does not love him at all.Another man is a young minister,Dimmesdale, who has a high position among ministers and is highly respected among his people in town.Hester and Dimmesdale love each other. But their love is forbidden in that time .It is sinful.Due to this,Hester is punished by society with a letter A on her chest, which considered an evil,a shame.

In this novel, the mainline seems to be around the letter A.Hester is brave enough to face the cruel reality. She is always with a mind of courage. She has been alone with her child for so long ,with litter communication.Shame!Hopelessness!Loneliness!Hester has to wear the letter A day after day, seven years as for punishment and ill fame.

When a woman has lived through a difficult experience, her character changes a great deal.If she be all tenderness, she will die.If she survive, the tenderness will leave her .Hester’s charitable deeds and quiet humility have earned her a reprieve from the scorn of the community. The letter on her chest represents her work on earth ,always helping others, without expecting any thanks.Never afterwards, does that scarlet letter leave her chest. The townspeople no longer view the letter as a punishment ,but rather as representing her great strength and bravery and thy say it means “Able”.

But Arthur Dimmesdale, his sin against Hester and Pearl is that he will not acknowledge them as his wife and daughter in the daylight. He keeps his dreadful secret from all those under his care in the church for seven years for fear that he will lose their love and will not be forgiven. He is too weak to admit his sins.He suffers from mysterious heart trouble, seemingly caused by psychological distress. What’s worse,he is an advisor to the townspeople about their sins.

After Mr.Dimmesdale’s death ,no one changes more in appearance than Roger Chilling worth. All his strength and energy has been used to harm his patient .This unhappy man has made his aim in life to add to the suffering of the young minister. When the evil old man no longer has such a purpose, the devil takes him back to the hell .It is a curious subject of observation, however, whether hatred or love are not of the same place. Each takes a great deal of emotion from one person. The two feelings seem basically the same, expect that one is smiled upon by God,while the other is worshipped by the devil.

I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It’s pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the he-ro-in-e,though I didn’t think she’s beautiful. But she’s smart. However, I didn’t pay much attention to the plot. I thought it’s so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven’t read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice. In fact, I didn’t understand the story at that time. I didn’t know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn’t find where’ s the prejudice. I thought it’s normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. I’m a prejudiced person so I can’t find where’s wrong.

I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.
