看着鸟儿在天空飞翔，看着鱼儿在水中遨游。也许你会认为世界上的动物很多吧!但你是否知道，现在的动物不仅不多，而且有的动物已经很稀少，甚至某些动物已经灭绝。根据生物学家估计，几千年来被人类捕杀以致绝种的动物至少有数百种以上。如此一来，那世界上的动物种类越来越少，如果我们不能够及时挽救的话，那么将来世界上的动物就只有我们人类自己了!你别以为我是“危言耸听”，你若不信，我可以告诉你。

就拿印度洋毛里求斯群岛上生活的渡渡鸟来说，由于它身上的肉鲜美无比，所以遭到当时人类的大量捕食，在十七世纪就已告灭绝。但是如果当时人们有动物保护意识的话，就不会造成渡渡鸟的灭绝。再说生活在我国青藏高原的藏羚羊吧，因为它其外层皮毛下面的被称作沙图什的绒毛异常精细，可以用来织成华丽的披肩，而惨遭偷猎者大肆捕杀。因为织出一条女式沙图什披肩便需要300至400克生绒，这意味着要牺牲3只藏羚羊的生命。所以在上世纪90年代初期，藏羚羊的数目只有65000只到72500只之间，要知道这只有100年前藏羚羊总数的十分之一。所幸的是人们意识到了保护这种濒临灭绝的动物。现在北京已有多名志愿者来到可可西里担当起义务看护藏羚羊的活动。同时国际爱护动物基金会从1999年起每年为我国藏羚羊保护捐赠8万至10万美金用以在可可西里、羌塘和阿尔金山三大自然保护区开展反盗猎行动和针对藏羚羊保护的各种宣传活动。我们人类正慢慢将藏羚羊这种可爱的动物从灭绝的边缘拉回来。

以前，在大森林里，白天有鸟儿们在高声歌唱，蝴蝶在旁边翩翩起舞。夜晚，萤火虫把森林照得光亮，蛐蛐在草丛吱吱的叫着。如今，我们还能看到这样的美景吗？

在草原，森林里，有许许多多的动物已经走向了灭绝之路，还有的动物在灭绝的边缘徘徊着。例如：欧洲大象、孟加拉虎、穿山甲、沙猫……人们在这个社会上已经被金钱迷惑了双眼。把象牙做成各种各样的雕刻品，把动物的皮毛做成衣服，把鹿的角做成药品等等。加上人类把树木都给砍光了，让动物无家可归。

有一次，我在看书的时候发现了一条信息：以前，长臂猿喜欢在树林里边爬树，边大吼，发出很多的叫声，让人听了震耳欲聋。于是猎人们借助这个特点，把长臂猿给大量猎杀。因此，长臂猿在森林再也不敢乱叫了，有的甚至不发出声音了。

也许有的人会问：动物不是繁殖能力很强吗？一胎就能生出四、五只。

动物虽然多；但是并不是所有的都能活下去，有些动物不但要解决温饱问题，还被天敌追杀。人类又乱改乱锯把树木都砍光了，结果引发了洪水，造成了一系列自然灾难。

在此，我呼吁：人类快清醒吧，不要被金钱给迷惑了。

饕餮，上古传说中的贪吃怪兽。只吃不出，十分贪婪。它用来比喻那些贪婪的人类。而现在的“饕餮”是越来越多了，就是那些见钱眼开，屠杀贩卖甚至大吃特吃野生动物的坏人，他们多是为了自己的利益而用动物来卖钱。

物竞天择，适者生存。这个生物法则是不可能改变的，而人类却利用这个法则，无情地残杀动物们，以达成目的——用动物身上的肉、皮毛来卖钱。

生态平衡，缺一不可。一种生物的灭绝，可能就是一条生物链的消失。而现在因为人类的破坏，有许多物种已经灭绝或者是差一点儿就灭绝灭亡了。

就举长江江豚的例子来说吧。江豚是国家一级保护动物。可是因为有人喜欢吃，还是有人挺而走险，捉来长江江豚来卖，导致现在长江江豚的数量只有大约1000条左右了。没有买卖就没有杀害，没有吃货就没有杀戮。

在美国，曾有一个餐馆，为了吸引客人，抓了一只猛兽狗熊来吸引客人。客人多起来了，餐馆老板却不给猛兽吃的。狗熊已经饿得皮包骨头了。后来因有人举报，老板被抓走了。

电捕鱼、大网捕鸟、猎枪击射……人们为了赚钱，不择手段的追害动物们。甚至有人为了让皮色更好一点，能多赚点儿钱，甚至，在动物活着的时候，扒下它们的皮毛。太残忍了啊！

濒危动物的在劫难逃，全球保护刻不容缓，现在各个国家几乎都有了保护动物的法律。还有一些明星做公益广告，让人们不要再穿着动物皮毛们做的东西了。抵制皮草制品，从我的父母家人做起。

如果地球上没有了动物，人类会怎样？降临在动物身上的命运，终究会降临在人类的身上。为了我们的子孙后代，更为了未来和谐多元化的地球，让大家都行动起来保护它们吧！

This fish earned its name by utilizing evasion as a way to escape its predators. It bodily leaps from the ocean, reaching a speed of about 35 miles per hour and a recorded gliding time of up to thirty seconds. This can take them as far as 200 meters from their point of exit from the water, which may be far enough to escape pursuit or confuse predators. Fishermen favor these types of fish, but due to their sheer numbers in the wild, none of the 40 different species of flying fish are listed as endangered. Flying fish generally mate during the autumn or spring, when currents are at their weakest. Females will deposit their eggs on the surface, attached to flotsam, and males will fertilize the eggs. 生活在长白山上的东北虎10年前还有10只，现在却不足8只，因为长白山上环境被恶化，所以使东北虎面临灭绝;只生活在长江中下游的白鳍豚10年前还有20头，但2008年科学工作者在长江中下游勘察了一个星期却没有发现一头白鳍豚，如果这一项工作被证实的话，那么白鳍豚早在2008年就已经灭绝了，因为长江中下游的水环境被严重破坏，所以使白鳍豚面临灭绝;我国的国宝大熊猫现在已经不足20只了，大熊猫已经有几千年的历史，被称为‘活化石’!它具有很大的科学考察性。因为我国的大面积竹林被破坏，所以使大熊猫面临灭绝;可爱的羚羊，野生动物王国的跳跃健将和奔跑的佼佼者，却因为过度放牧，所以使羚羊只能嚼着干瘦的‘地衣’和面临灭;还有不会飞的水栖鸟—企鹅……难道我们就忍心看着这些可爱的动物们面临灭绝吗?

现在的人们为了钱可以不顾一切，‘钱乃身外之物’钱没有了可以再挣。但是动物灭绝了就再也没有了!为了我们人类请保护它们，为了我们的家园请保护它们，为了自然生态的平衡请保护它们!虽然我不是诗人，我不会用优美的语句去恳请人们保护动物们，但是我会用发自心腹的真心话去恳请人们去保护动物!我们已经经历过一次恐龙灭绝了，恐龙的灭绝使我国的研究受到了一定的阻碍。难道我们人类只有经历过所以动物的灭绝才会醒悟吗?

如果动物灭绝了，那么，接下来灭绝的就是人类!保护动物。
