平平捉完青蛙，回家了，把小水桶放在桌上了。第二天平平要看看青蛙。青蛙没什么同样，只好听录音机。录音机里说了“请保护青蛙”平平不明白，就到书房里找书，他找到一本《动物百科知识》书，书里写着“青蛙是有益的动物”，我们要保护它。青蛙专门吃田里的害虫，是保卫田野的卫士。

平平知道自己做错了，便脸红了，他回到了池塘边把青蛙放了，一边对青蛙说：“小青蛙快回家吧！”
