回到家后，她开始喂鱼、除草，修整许久未打理的几近荒芜的花园，偶尔关注《重返·狼群》上映后的信息。“影片上映前，我会特别关注有没有人来看，上映后反而平静了。反正该做的努力都已经做了，现在所能做的就是等待以及让自己好好休息一会儿。”李微漪坦言道。

据了解，2010年3月，野生动物画家李微漪在四川若尔盖大草原写生时，救起了一只刚出生不久的小狼崽，并把它带回了自己成都的家。李微漪给这只小狼起名叫“格林”，时常唤它“儿子”。

随着格林的长大，李微漪知道自己的家不可能是一只狼的久待之地，但她又不愿意将格林送进动物园，“死亡并不可怕，在圈养当中死去却是莫大的悲哀，所以比活命更重要的是自由。”李微漪道出缘故。于是她找到了好友亦风一起计议将格林重新野化放归草原。

2010年7月，李微漪带着格林进入了若尔盖草原，前后历经近9个月，于2011年的春节，成功将格林放归了草原。而《重返·狼群》记录的就是这一整个过程。

在影片上映之前，李微漪已分别于2012年和2015年出版了纪实性散文《重返狼群》的第一部和第二部，但影片《重返·狼群》却耗时7年。据李微漪介绍，导演亦风最开始剪辑关于格林的视频素材，更多的是为了让她在写作时能够重新回忆起当时的一些细节，同时也为了留作纪念。

但李微漪发现，书籍太过小众，传播的范围有限。此外，读者通过文字很难直观感受到那片草原，以及那里动物生存的不易。于是，她和亦风商量将长达1700多个小时的原始素材剪辑成一部完整的片子。

在这个过程中，李微漪收到网友留言说格林被抓，二人又一度中断了这个工作，重新返回草原寻找格林。只是这一次的“重返狼群”之行，让李微漪有了更加强烈的危机感与紧迫感，为狼群的生存环境以及整个若尔盖大草原的生态。

她希望人类不要再深入这片草原，“每年三、四月份，核心区那片广阔的湖最早开始化冻，许多动物都在那里生存繁衍，所有的候鸟都会在那里产卵，寻找食物，遍地都是鸟蛋，而人一旦进去，就没戏了”。李微漪说。她深知仅靠她和亦风两人，力量实在太小，于是他们加快了片子剪辑制作的进度，欲通过《重返·狼群》的上映让更多人加入到这场野生动物生存环境保卫战之中。

但问题是普通人如何有效参与进来?据李微漪介绍，早在《重返狼群》第一部出版时，就有许多来自社会各界的热心读者希望通过捐款在资金上支持他们，但都被二人婉拒了。问及缘由时，她谈道：“我们希望这个故事干干净净地走入观众视野，大家精神上支持我们就已经很满足了。”李微漪不想让这部影片因牵扯过多钱利而遭受一些非议，即使到现在，她和亦风依旧不接受任何关于资金的支持。

“但草原上的救助站需要更加专业的兽医。”李微漪称草原上的医疗条件太过简陋，虽然现在有一个救助站，但缺乏专业的兽医留守。“救助站除了能给牧民生病的牛羊做一些简单的治疗外，更大的意义还在于生病或受伤的野生动物能够在它们原生态的环境里接受治疗，治好后可以随时放生。”她当前最大的心愿就是这个救助站能够一直运行下去。

每一个人都有责任保护环境！爱护动物!亲近自然！这是我们要做的，也是必须做的。你知道吗？环境现在受的威胁，而威胁的人就是那些不爱护环境的人，你知道不爱护环境对地球有多大危害。土地沙漠化，空气受到污染，无法抵抗沙尘暴，影响人们的身体健康等等。这是我们想要的结果吗？对!不是。每一个人都想在一个良好的的环境里学习，工作，休息。谁都不想在一个环境受到污染的地方。人类是花的根，环境是未绽的花苞，根努力就能开出美丽，反之只有枯竭、谢落。所以要保护环境，这也是在保护我们正受威胁的地球！

爱护动物也是必须做的。有的一些可怜的动物，就是因为人们不停地残杀，就快绝种了。有的是已经绝种了。就说那可怜的渡渡鸟，已经绝种了，他/她们是多么的可爱！

我为此发出倡议：1不要在伤害那些无辜，可怜的动物，它们也有生命。2大家互相监督，坚决不杀动物吃。3一起提倡爱护动物，大家一起携手保护动物。希望大家一起爱护动物。

亲近自然。多去户外走一走，多与大自然接触，与大自然一起玩，大自然会喜欢你，你也会更喜欢大自然。

总之一句话：“保护环境！爱护动物！亲近自然！”
