I am already 18 years old, but the memory of my childhood is still like an unforgettable sweet dream.

An Unforgettable Day

On September 3, a military parade was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory of World War II. Ten minutes before the big event, we seated ourselves in front of the TV, eager to watch the live broadcast.

Soon the parade started. Seeing the soldiers and military equipment proceed along Chang’an Street, past Tian’anmen Square, we couldn’t help cheering and applauding for our powerful country.

Then the roaring of military aircraft overhead caught our attention. We rushed to the balcony and took photos of the planes flying in formation. What an impressive scene!

I couldn’t wait to share my pictures and feelings with friends on WeChat

Moments. To my surprise, WeChat was already flooded with numerous pictures and comments expressing love for our motherland. What an unforgettable day!

We have recently held a class meeting to discuss the pressure upon everyone of us Senior Three students. At the meeting everyone expressed their own opinions on how to get relieved from pressure.

Pressure comes from all around: from the heavy load of learning, from the fierce competition, from teachers, and from parents. Pressure may affect our studies if there’s too much of it. However, if taken positively, a certain amount of pressure may help push us ahead.

Whenever I find there’s too much pressure, I choose to work out or listen to some light music, which seems to be quite effective. There are many approaches to getting oneself relieved when pressure accumulates. I strongly recommend that when you feel much too stressed, you stop whatever you are doing, get out into the open, take a deep breath, and start thinking of something positive.

What is the purpose of students studying hard all these years, of course

for the better future. Every parent wants their kids have advantage over others,

so they can be outstanding and have a good job. Students learn in campus, they

are in the stage of studying knowledge while getting a job soon, there is

necessary for them knowing something about society.

Before study in college, students focus all their attention on study for

entering a good college, they don’t need to care about other things, it is also

what their parents tell them. After entering college, it is a little different,

at this stage, study is no more the only task, students should have access to

society. They should make some preparation for the job hunting, knowing society

helps them get use to the society quickly. Some students only care about score,

when they find a job, the employer will ask him something about the public news,

but students have no idea, this is so bad. What’s more, getting familiar with

the society makes students find their own positions, they will know what they

want and fight for it.

The atmosphere of society is very different from campus, in order to better

adjust to finding a job, students should get to know society.

Progress in science and the improvement of living conditions have led to the rapid growth of the world population. May 12th is an ordinary day in 2008,itis in this day that shocking earthquake happened in Sichuan province,China.The earthquake destroyed nearly everything in Wenchan county Sichuan province. It was terrible.We cant describle the scene what we saw with any words.thousands of people were injured even died. And thousands of children became such unlucky ones who lost fathers or mothers , they longed to have families to continue their lives .I am sympathetic to their fate ! But I believed that we can fight against the fate and change it .For example ,there many people keeping living without food or water for about 100 hours during the earthquake!

What an unbelievable thing it is !their great spirits showed the powerful life vitality of humans!However,they must keep fighting against the death .Many schools were destroyed and there were many students and teachers who left us forever.Sadness,hoplessness and different kinds of danger spreaded out here and there !
