没有素材可写，写出来的文章言之无物，是小学生作文的通病。学生之所以感觉作文“无话可说”，我认为最主要的原因，是教师在平时的教学中没有及时抓住作文教学的契机进行有效的引导和练习。结合本人的教学实践，我谈几点粗浅的看法：

一、抓住生活契机，捕捉素材练笔

生活是作文的源泉。叶圣陶先生指出：“作文的自然顺序是我认识事物中有感，感情的波澜冲击着我，我有说话的欲望，便想倾吐，于是文章就诞生了。”

这就要求教师注重引导学生注意观察和感受生活，体验并及时抒发情感，善于抓住生活中的写作契机，激发学生的表达欲望，引导学生及时练笔。

我在新学期的第一节课就向学生提出了做生活有心人的口号，告诉学生无论是在校园生活中还是在家庭生活、社会生活中，都要有感情的投入，不能视而不见、听而不闻。如：拔河比赛后，我让他们练习场面描写；甲肝流行时，县疾控中心为学生注射了甲肝疫苗，我就让学生以此为话题写作，有的将自己打针时的心理活动描写得细致入微；有的把对病魔的痛恨之情表达得淋漓酣畅；还有的对当时的打针场面作了生动逼真的描绘。要开家长会了，我就布置学生替班主任拟写通知或给爸爸妈妈写一封邀请信；英语老师顾不上照看生病的爱人赶来参加家长会，学生得这一消息时，有的沉默，有的偷偷抹泪。我便让他们以此为素材练笔，学生的文章写的情真意切，感人肺腑。由于写作素材来自学生的生活，又抓住了灵感及时动笔，所以他们不但有话可写，而且写出来的文章精彩纷呈。

二、抓住课堂契机，引导即兴练笔

作文的训练以教师有目的、有计划的安排为主，但作文训练的契机往往在计划外产生。因为往往在意想不到的情况下，在突发事件中，学生会有感而发，在不经意间表达出更真实更自然的思想感情，展现出他激情的一面。所以教师应该抓住任何一个有利时机引导学生即兴练笔。

在一次语文课上,狂风乍起,天空骤然变得一片昏暗.伴随着轰隆隆的雷声,豆大的雨点冲刷而下,地面瞬间溅起无数带着尘土的雨花,窗外一片混沌的世界。学生们开始分神了,他们望着窗外，表情各异：有的好奇，有的惊讶，有的害怕，思路无法回到课文中。于是我索性让学生放下课本，走到窗前仔细观察景物的变化，聆听大自然最宏伟的交响乐。其间，让学生随意交流、议论，谈各自的感受。雷雨过后，我让学生稍做准备，进行口头作文。有的学生生动地描绘了雷阵雨的撼人景象，有的学生形象地表达了自己的心情感受，还有的学生发挥奇思妙想，述说了心中一个美丽的童话。由于抓住了最佳训练时机，学生们情动而辞发，争相发言，语言流畅而富有个性。在这个过程中，描述、抒情、想象结合在一起，不同的表达方式都得到训练。事后让他们将其整理成《感受暴雨》的书面作文，学生普遍完成得很好。这样的即兴训练既能引发学生的写作兴趣，又能锻炼他们的思维能力，实在不容忽视。

三、抓住阅读契机，实现迁移练笔

教材中有些文章的某一场面、某一情节可以用来引发学生的想象，适机穿插说话练习，再让学生将所说写下来。这种形式的小练笔，既是对课文的深入研究，又实实在在地进行了作文的基本训练，学生觉得有话可讲，有内容可写，写作热情高涨，真正做到了言之有物。《穷人》一文中把桑娜主动抱回邻居家两个孩子时的复杂心理描写得丝丝入扣。渔夫打鱼归来了，桑娜不知道该如何把事情告诉丈夫，所以夫妻俩在关于天气的一番谈话后，都陷入了沉默。我觉得此处大有文章可做，于是，我让学生设身处地地想象人物当时的心理活动并写下来，因为引导到位，学生很快就进入了写作情景，而且都写得非常好。这样抓住课文的阅读契机因地制宜，因文施教，既加深了对课文的理解，又实现了迁移练笔，效果不错。

总之，作文教学不能受时间和空间的过多限制，教师要善于及时准确地抓住最佳时机开展即兴作文训练，开拓学生写作思路，培养学生的作文创造力，从而提高小学生的作文能力。

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists.
