再往里面走就是我们的操场，这是我们在喜欢的地方，操场的一边有升旗台，每到星期一同学们都会站在这儿唱国歌举行升国旗仪式，另一边有单杠、双杠，还有篮球场等，在这里我们可以做操、打球、跳绳、踢毽子……上体育课，我们还学会了不少知识和本领，课外活动，我们尽情参加各种体育活动，我们要把身体锻炼的好好的，做一名健康的小学生！

最后来到我们宽敞明亮的教室，教室里有一排一排的桌、凳，黑板上有宽宽的大屏幕、老师的讲桌上配有电脑和老师讲课用的教材，教室内还有空调、图书等等，我们每天就是坐在这温馨而又明亮的教室中上课。

我们的校园很美吧！它不仅带给我们无穷的知识，也让我们感到快乐和幸福，我爱我们的校园。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

with the development of economy, more and more high buildings are being built in large and medium-sized cities across the country. in urbanization, however, one thing should not be neglected---environmental protection. it is unscientific to judge a city’s modernization level by the number of high buildings. recently, a new concept “environmental image” has come into being and become an important criterion with which to evaluate a city.

the concept stresses that a modern city must have efficient environmental promotion. it must have a proper proportion of green land, clean water and fresh air. to add more greenery to a city, i would like to make the following proposals:

1. we should popularize “vertical greenery” technique, that is, to plant more green-leaved plants like boston ivy in densely-located buildings. the roof space of buildings should be used fully to plant flowers, fruits and grasses.

2. certain room should be reserved for green belts, green patches in the building of new residential districts and the reconstruction of urban areas.

3. measures should be taken to strengthen people’s awareness of greenery. people should, for example, be encouraged to plant “wedding trees” and “birthday trees”.

Environment, is the source of our lives; In this environment, is the human survival; Environment is the human the beacon; If we dont take care of it, it will lead to the death of human society.

In the long river of human history development, there are many celebrities attaches great importance to the environment. British poet byron once said: "I love not man the less, but more love the nature." French monte nie also said: "we have receded from the nature, she was so accurately the way for us, and we want to use her to teach to teach her." What these celebrities said let us understand how important it is to protect our environment.

I cant help but think of the lawn culture in the United States. The lawn for americans create a better living environment, also has brought immeasurable benefit. Americans pay attention to the lawn has become a tradition, and even has become a cultural phenomenon. And the lawn culture coexist is American good social morality consciousness. Especially holiday people walking on the lawn, play ball, dinner and all kinds of recreational activities, and in the atmosphere of comfortable, quiet and tastefully laid out and is inaccessible by the indoor activities. We should also like americans, take good care of the lawn, attaches great importance to the environment.

On the other hand, the earth gives all people is the essence of the matter, but in the end, it returns from people is a waste material. In 1991, a team met with snow when climbing mount Everest. 在人类历史发展的长河中，有许多名人很重视环境。英国的诗人拜伦曾说过 ：“我不是不爱人类，而是更爱大自然。”法国蒙台涅也说：“我们已经背弃了大自然，她曾那样准确地为我们指路，而我们却想用她的教导来教训她。”这些名人所说的话让我们明白保护环境是多么重要。

我不禁想起了美国的草坪文化。草坪给美国人创造了美好的生活环境，亦带来了难以估量的好处。人们可以充分分享大自然的恩赐，不仅空气清新，而且也调节了气温，给人们恬静、安详的感受。美国人重视草坪已成为传统，甚至已发展成为一种文化现象。与草坪文化共存的是美国人良好的社会公德意识。特别是假日人们多在草坪上散步、玩球中、聚餐和进行各种娱乐活动，其舒适、幽雅之氛是室内活动所无法企及的。我们也应像美国人一样，爱护草坪，重视环境。

反之，大地给予所有人的是物质的精华，而最后，它从人们那里得到的回报是物质性的垃圾。1991年，一支登山队在攀登珠穆朗玛峰时遇到了大雪。令他们惊奇的是，天上飘下的黑色雪花纷纷扬扬，使大地和天空笼罩在阴霾中。引起这场黑雪的原因是1990年爆发的海湾战争，给环境带来了深重的灾难，由于环境污染造成的损失远远超过战争的直接经济损失。从这件故事中，我们深深地了解这场灾难造成了很大损失，我们要让世界变得美丽，一定要爱护环境，不能再破坏了。

广大市民们：

由于我们的滥砍滥伐，由于我们的乱丢乱扔，由于我们随意毁坏自然环境，地球那头美丽的秀发变的稀稀疏疏，地球那饱满的身躯变的骨瘦如柴，地球那容光焕发的面孔变的皱皱巴巴，一条条"皱纹"刻在了"母亲"的脸上！为了让地球母亲展开那久违的笑容，我们应该注意我们身边的一些小毛病，一些大问题！为此，我想向大家发出一些保护环境的建议：

1、不乱丢乱扔，不随地吐痰，不在公共场所吸烟。

2、节约水电，出门时不要忘记关灯，洗完手请立即关水龙头。

3、要爱护树木花草,不要随便砍伐绿色树木，践踏草地。

4、不要使用塑料袋，减少白色污染。我们这个城市如果每天每人使用一个塑料袋，每天将产生5吨塑料垃圾！

5、不使用一次性筷子。或许你不曾想过，哪怕我们每一个人这辈子只用一双一次性筷子，全国也得砍掉15万棵生长了20年的大树。我国每年因生产一次性筷子消耗的林料就达200万立方米，这足以引发长江洪水泛滥！

以上是我提出的不大成熟的建议，这仅仅是我对保护环境尽一份微薄的力量。但是，如果我们大家每个人都为环保尽自己所能尽一份微薄之力，那么，世界将是多么的美好！行动起来吧，从我做起，从身边小事做起，让我们为建设一个环境优美的家园而共同努力！
