Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. If theres anything you can get out of my strange journey I hope its the comfort and reassurance that you dont always have to know what you want to do in the near future. And its okay to change majors or even pursue a major that may not necessarily be related to your future career. You should enjoy what youre studying. But also seek after what you really love.

每天清晨，看到孩子背起书包，迎着秋日和煦的阳光，蹦蹦跳跳地走进校园，我就不由得回想起自己的学生时代，想起每一位曾辛勤教导过我的可爱可敬的老师。这其中，有一位幼儿园退休老师，她在大学里给我们上了特殊的一课，让我一直难以忘怀。

那是我在山东大学读硕士期间，英语口语课由外籍老师担任。在开始的一个多月中，一个美国小伙子每周给我们上两堂课，可突然有一天，我们的课中止了。后来传出消息说，小伙子因为课时太多，报酬又少辞职了，而学校并没有多余的外籍老师可以担任这门课程。我们正在为失去这一宝贵的练习口语的机会而失望时，一天，教务老师领来了一对美国老夫妇。他们大约都已过花甲之年，十分慈祥可亲，还抱着很多花花绿绿的图片。他们用简单的英语向我们自我介绍，他们夫妇是美国人，丈夫是山大化学系的外籍专家，（后来我们才知道，他曾因功绩卓著，在白宫接受过老布什总统的表彰），夫人退休前是幼儿园老师。知道因为他们同胞的原因我们耽误了课程，感到很抱歉，因此他们夫妇特地用业余时间来为我们无偿补课。听到这里，我们都呆住了。为弥补一个他们素不相识的人的草率行为给我们造成的不便，这对老夫妇心甘情愿地辗转两个校区，为四个班、一百多名研究生上整整一个学期的免费口语课！课堂里顿时变得鸦雀无声。

接下来的教学更让我们感动。因为是第一次上课，他们不知道我们的口语水平，因此，还特地分成两个阶段来上课：夫人带来了她在美国幼儿园使用的英语卡片，还穿上了她为圣诞节特制的、带着发光小彩灯的衣服，给我们绘声绘色地讲了圣诞节的故事。同学们都会心地笑了，虽然这样上课对我们的口语提高用处不大，但是我们都知道，她花费了多少心思，多想给我们带来快乐和知识！讲完故事后，她已经累得气喘吁吁。随后，丈夫走上讲台，用较快的语速向我们提问。这其中，每当他需要向我们分发图片或收取作业时，他的夫人总是快速地在教室中穿梭忙碌，脸上一直洋溢着和蔼的笑容。一节课在不知不觉中结束了，这时候夫妇两人携手登上讲台，告诉我们，因为身体原因，夫人必须回国疗养，因此，以后的课她就不能来了，但是丈夫是一定会把我们的课上完才回国的，希望我们能够好好学习。当时，我们感动得什么都说不出来，只能以热烈的掌声来表达我们的感激！

很多年过去了，每当我听到有人说英语时，我总能想起那个只给我上过一次课、讲过一个故事，衣服上的灯泡一闪一闪的美国幼儿园退休教师，我真想亲口告诉她：“谢谢您，是您让我知道，普天下所有的老师都有一颗爱护学生的心，都有不计回报的奉献精神！”

芙蓉湖是厦门大学里的一处景点，我每星期都要到那里去运动。

早晨，阳光照耀着湖面，一闪一闪的，好像是一群萤火虫在湖里洗澡似的。湖边是一大片绿油油的草坪，草坪上长着各种各样的花朵，那粉红的桃花，雪白的梨花，金黄的菊花，还有许多不知名的小花都像赶集似的聚拢来，即使是再高明的画家也画不出这么美这么多的色彩、景物。

晚上，我习惯坐在湖边赏月，我捡起几粒小石子儿，往湖里丢，水面绽开了一朵朵美丽的浪花。凉风习习吹来，树叶也被吹得抖了起来，湖面的波纹一圈一圈的荡漾，荡漾……一切都显得那么的安静，湖里的小鱼停止了快乐的游动，青蛙也停止了唱歌，世间万物都沉浸在这美丽安详的夜晚。

For most university students, dormitory life is a new experience. Most students have never lived far away from their parents before coming to university. They have always had their parents to depend on for advice and guidance, and when they become university students, their lives begin to change.

There are striking difference between home life and dormitory life. Student must begin to be responsible for their own action. They must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on, time for class, to eat properly, to keep their clothes and themselves clean ,and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation. They must also learn to take care of their money, making sure to preserve enough for both necessities and for fun.

In general, there are both good and bad points about life in student dormitory. Often, dormitory?rooms are small and crowded. This lack of space can limit ones privacy and make it?difficult for students to concentrate on their studies. On the other hand, in a dormitory, student have a great deal more freedom than?they might have at home. They can act according to their own will and desire than to that of parents.

How to Live in Harmony with your Roommates?Everyone has his answer.In my opinion,to Live in Harmony with your Roommates,one should:

Firstly, keep the same pace with roommates. There are usually four people or more in a room. It’s better to have a unified schedule. To maintain the order of the life, everyone should coordinate and abide by the schedule to reduce the disputes.

Secondly, don’t make little “squads” in the dormitory. You should treat every person equally rather than discriminating or isolating someone. We object to establish deep friendship under the cost of sacrificing the friendship’s width and breadth. It’s important to keep balance in the dormitory.

Thirdly, dont invade your roommates privacy. Everyone has their own secrets and eccentricities. We should not search roommates privacy. If someone has clearly made a field private, they must have special sensitive to this field and any subject attempting to break into this field will not be appreciated by them.

Fourthly, participate in dormitory’s collective activities actively. The activities of the dormitory is not only a simple activity, but also a way to contact with each other to share feelings. Dont be naive to think collective activity as boring and useless action which wastes time and money, and showing a pair of disparaging appearance for company. In fact, its all emotional investment, and indispensable.

Fifth, provide help and ask for help. Good roommate relationships is based on mutual help. When roommates meet with difficulties, we should voluntarily help. That’s obvious. So, when we have some trouble, is it appropriate to ask help from roommates? The answer is yes. Because sometimes asking for help show that you trust your roommates, which can deepen your relationship.

吕曜晖：8月15日之前，军训对我是一种诱惑，向往它的刺激和冒险，盼望着穿上军服，成为一名英姿飒爽的女兵。

有人说：军训很累很苦，我却不以为然地认为不就是站、走、跑几个我幼稚园就会的动作吗?那还不是小菜一碟!

有人说：心态好的话当成一种磨练，也是一种提高。我也骄傲地想我这么乐观的一个丫头，有什么好怕的。

现在，我终于梦寐以求地穿上了又肥又大的衣裤，恹恹地站在了快要被烈日灼软的塑胶场地上，享受着教官温柔的呵斥声。

站，多么简单的一个动作，我却累得咬牙切齿，一开始那英俊潇洒的教官就给我们来了个下马威，原来一个普普通通的站还有那么大的学问，站着站着，我就腰酸腿疼，就一下子一屁股坐下去，汗珠不停地滴落，借证我的苦和累。

没想到苦的还在后头呢，稍息、左转、右转等等几样小小的动作就将我们彻底打垮了，简直比代数里函数的xyz还要难缠。阳光不停地考验我们的意志，手酸了，脚僵了，痛了，全身黏乎乎的，简直就跟十八层地狱没什么两样，让人有股冲动想一下子跑回家享受空调的荫庇，但是我必须坚持，要是倒下了或放弃了，还对得起自己吗?

最恐怖的是烈日底下的30分钟军姿了，我们既要忍受肚子向我们示威的煎熬，又要忍受身体到处弥漫的酸痛。不久，就有人倒下了，我也快不行了，眼前开始模模糊糊，只能隐隐约约地瞧见些影子，慢慢脑子一片的黑，我看到教师、教室就在前面，我几乎就倒下了，可是脑子里有一个信念：要坚持，就一会儿了。终于，我还是挺过来了。

一天完后，什么感觉都有，回想一下，其实还是值得的，它严肃了我们的纪律，让我们明白了苦和累，磨炼了咱们的意志，激发起了我们的斗志。这样的苦都受过了，我们还会害怕什么呢?

最后，我强烈希望自己能一直站到最后，做一朵不倒花。

我今天这封信是写给已经走入社会，扑向工作岗位的人，特别是年轻人，特别是没上过大学就直接考入社会大学的年轻人。

首先和我一样从18、19岁走过来的人，我们那时读书是不是以清华北大为荣，不止是我们这年龄段，任何一个年龄段都是不是以高学历高素质，清华北大为荣，不管你处在哪个年龄阶段，你是不是都幻想如果当初直接能会读书、会好好读书，甚至幻想能清华北大毕业多好啊，都在感叹自己不会读书，不知道怎么读书，拿起书本就想睡觉等等一晃而过得念头面临着今天的现实。

再想想如果你的子女和你一样，走一样的道路，你是会怎么教育他，怎么引导他，怎么给他父母情怀。

我现在就以职高毕业直接考入社会大学走入服务行业的服务生举例哈。

首先各位商家老板我们先换为思考下哈，如果您商家的服务生是您亲身女儿职高毕业直接进入您的餐馆从事着最普通的服务员工作，你平时会怎么教育她，会给她开多少薪水。

我知道不是每个人都能像我一样浙江大学毕业，从小学开始数学就能考满分，我也非常知道您也很想成为像我一样名牌大学毕业，考试总能考满分的心理感受，也希望自己能出人头地、有所成就，早早步入社会大学堂，不是你们最初的初衷，是不得以得不得以行为，你们也很想进入大学深造，也想自己能成为知识一分子，至少遇到什么特别困难的事情不需要求别人帮忙解决，自己就能很自豪很自信得解决，你们也很想被尊重，被社会认可，在亲戚朋友面前很自豪得说着自己的工作，而不是几个小年轻浪费着青春，早早步入世俗。

18岁是刚举行过成人礼，花一样的年龄，我非常得知道这时得你们开始从事着服务行业，虽然很年轻，很不懂事，但我知道其实你们面临着巨大的社会压力，因为一是你们从事的行业不被认可，随时走人对于社会没任何丝毫影响，二是你们其实也非常清楚这份工作干不久的，自己也随时可能换餐馆换工作，三是你们只会对你们这个年龄段的几个要好的朋友才好意说起你们从事着这份工作，四是你们根本看不到明天，不知未来的自己是怎么样的，只能规划从古代就开始得最基本得成立家庭，而成立家庭以后得所有情境您根本无法把控也一切未知。五是一旦走入这道路你生活在现代，物质是现代得，但其余得和古代没任何区别；六是生活、工作的空虚、寂寞、孤独、困难、情绪化、家庭壁垒、子女教育、夫妻和谐、父母健康与沟通等等一系列问题等着你面对与解决，而你是那么束手无策;七是其实您一直在改变，但总有心无力。

其实所有得所有得一切都不怪你们，你们已经做得很好了，至少毕业了，就想到工作了，怪只能怪这个社会没能启到引导作用，也就说把你们引导到你人生正常的轨道上来。

所以我告诫商家，您要向对待自己亲身女儿一样对待您的服务生，要正确教育她们的人生观、价值观，甚至世界观，不能只教会她们点菜、端菜、清洁餐具，更重要得是让她们知道她一生中在这里工作过，至少能对她的一生有所帮助，因为您是她的社会大学的一年级，是打基础的时候啊。

通俗得讲就是让她们学到做人的道理，怎么做人，不是让她们拿着这微薄的薪水，几个小年轻几天就挥霍掉了。同时既然你愿意教她们人生道理、愿意尊重她们，就把她们留下来，多分出一部分利润给她们，不要老是在外面传，某某餐馆老板一年赚百万几百万得，而给服务员就仅仅二千，能多给就多给吧，亏不了您的，服务好了顾客，很多顾客会因为服务生无微不至的招待而愿意成为回头客，这对您来说是至少是几十倍的利润回报呢，特别是有情调、有环境得餐馆，很多顾客和我一样很注重心情得，不是有句古话嘛：气都气饱了，说明心情对就餐是有一定影响的。

再说说现实得，您的子女刚工作，是不是工资根本不够她用，还时不时让你救济，您的服务生也一样的，她们是小年轻，爱美有交际，需要消费，其实我也知道很多是从农村来得，她们平时就很勤俭节约得，就让她们多存点吧，让她们孝敬选在农村的弟弟妹妹爷爷奶奶吧，她们会感恩得。

其实我知道社会大学大多数是来自农村的，农村的娃因为各种原因，有自身的，家庭的，社会的各因素，早早得考入了社会大学，其实这大多数更应该引导到当代得与时俱进的道路上来，时不时报道被害事件，大多数农村娃没跟上时代脉搏，安全意识不够，学习能动性、积极性、主动性不够，这就需要像我们一样长一辈得给她们更多得引导，充分调动她们的能动性、积极性、主动性、主观性。

同时既然考入了社会大学，既然进入了大学校门，您还得像一名学生一样好学习、虚心学习，不过这大学特别特别得宽敞，您根本不要怕不会学、学不会，你要担心仅仅是自己是不是做得还不够，还不够好，及时反省改正过来就可以了哈，时间不限，当然早一天您会感觉到早一天的乐趣，就像新一天重生一样哈，具体味道自己品味，不是现在流行这么一句话嘛：让每天都留下些什么。

工作不分贵贱，只有分工不同，365行行行出状元，365行少了哪一行，社会就不会发展，人类就不会进步。

我上面的例子适合于任何社会大学情境，社会既然称为大学，就是一门艺术，为什么有的人游刃有余，而有的人撞的头破血流，就是因为在社会这学校交出的成绩单不一一样，有的是优秀，而有的是不及格，在积极准备着复习，准备补考。

现在既然已经倡导终生学习制，那就意味着社会大学将陪伴着您的一生，既然是一生，所以您身处任何情境，想要交出一份满意的成绩单，您通过学习肯定能达到的，因为您身边的一个灿烂得笑容、一句温暖的问候、一个暖人心得拥抱、一声"对不起""谢谢""打扰了"等等文明礼仪都是在证明您已经交出优秀的成绩单了，但您也知道既然是大学，是需要坚持不懈得加油得噢，让我们一起加油、加油、再加油，社会大学万岁、万岁、万万岁。

我理想的大学校园，学校好，毕业后找工作容易且有不错的工资待遇，校园环境优美，学习氛围浓厚。我想，绝大多数人也是如此。是那种春有百花秋有月的闲适，夏有凉风冬有雪的淡雅。校园规模大，有时可以骑着自行车在学校里面晃悠，随意穿梭在校园内。春时生意盎然姹紫嫣红一片，夏时绿树成荫一阵凉风习习，秋时淡黄色的树叶落满小道，冬时一片白雪皑皑，四季景色皆宜人。学校里，同学们都是热爱学习，热情的人，有高的素养和品质。有着不错的住宿条件，和室友能够友好相处，有时间便一起讨论问题，一起去食堂，一起玩图书馆，一起准备考研......

同学间相处融洽且愉快，大家一同学习一同进步。不用过多的担心同学间相处的关系问题，同学间随意相处不失违和感，既可以随时进行个人行动，也可以随时加入小群体里。不会拥挤的食堂随时有可口且便宜的饭菜，打菜的阿姨也总是慷慨大方。同时，校园内购物方便，不用出校门也随时可以在校园内买到想要的东西。各种小吃店，面包店，咖啡店等分布在学校的各个角落。充实而又自由的大学生活。没有似高中那般繁忙的课业，没有了老师的管束，时不时还可以像电视剧中的剧情般逃课而又不被老师发现。

大学里的每一个科目也都简单易学，每一堂课都抢前几排的位置，上课时认真听讲，与手机绝缘，有着较好的学习成绩永远也不用担心挂科的问题。大学里没有太多的课，没有太多的作业，有很多随意支配的时间。大学的老师也都是很亲切，能随时随地和老师肆意交谈，请教一些问题。

My life in the University of Education

How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

University is not only a place where you can learn something useful from textbooks, but also a place where you can improve your ability to communicate with others.

During the year university study, I can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and traveling provide opportunities to make friends, many of these friendships may last a long time. I like talking and playing with others, so I own many friends. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I own these good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. But I know when they need help; I will do everything that I can do to help those who helped me before.

I like going to the library where you can find these words on the wall: "Knowledge is power." and "Keep silence!" after class every day. Because I know that we must learn every day. I think the life in university of Education is full of freedom, but I never waste time. Life is not easy

for everybody, especially for those who hopes to lead a happy life”, a famous lady once said. That is to say, you have to try your best to learn and to pass exams in order to make your life become better and better with time going on. So I never give up learning even go to the college.

Sometimes I also want to own more free time to do my own things. But we have too many classes. So I think life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected. The teaching method is boring; instead of lecturing, some teachers just "read" lessons. I hate it. I want to more free time in class.

During the time I spend at the University of Education, I not only develops my intellectual abilities, I also develop social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career.

In short, we should value our life in the University of Education. Although there are many things lacking, the four years in the university is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.

In this picture a man rudely opens a garbage can and violently throws all kinds of waste into it. however, the box is not an ordinary trash can, but is, as a matter of fact, the earth. it is where survive, breed, and prosper. but as the drawing indicates, earth does not receive an equal repayment. quite the contrary, one of the biggest "gifts" humans return to earth is an unbelievable amount of trash.the picture purposefully points out a kind of pollution that arouses little public attention, that is, garbage. the past century has witnessed an unprecedented increase in garbage output, most of it technological products that are difficult to be decomposed through natural processes, such as plastics and glass. furthermore, a recent report released that several major chinese cities are already surrounded by circles of trash in the suburban areas, polluting air, water, and earth.

Hence, the issue of waste pollution needs to be addressed as one of the priorities that demand social efforts. only through a holistic system of trash disposal can this problem be fully solved. moreover, we should advocate a more frugal lifestyle so as to reduce the growing scale of waste pollution.

[大学英语作文环境污染

今天，是星期五，再三天就是2010年元旦了，今天就要在我们班级举行元旦庆祝PARTY。这次活动是由我和班长负责的，准备时间：2天。老师向我们下达了这个命令，我们立刻忙了起来，想着：“要在两天内完成元旦PARTY的布置工作。必须快马加鞭了。”

于是重担便压在了我们俩身上，我负责写题词、下载歌曲、设计游戏活动、配音以及收费。班长负责主持、买物品、布置班级、维持纪律、组织歌曲，忙得是不亦乐乎。一天上完课后我们一刻也没有闲着，赶忙商讨着对策，然后各奔东西。彻夜难眠啊！

现在是离元旦还有30分钟的时候，劳动委员和体育委员为班级装饰，纪律委员在维持着纪律，而我和班长负责安排着，准备好一切。

半个小时在我们繁忙的工作下过去了，随着下课钟声的敲响，元旦PARTY这一惊心动魄的时刻来临了，我与程宏（同学）走进后台，做好调音的工作。

班长与主持人有感情的宣读着开幕词：“亲爱的同学们……我宣布元旦PARTY现在开始。全场立即爆发出一阵阵的掌声。欢呼声、鼓掌声、音乐声，交接成一曲动听的交响曲。

首先，由主持人与班长合唱《欢乐颂》，背景音随之响起。伴着那悠扬的歌声，同学们挥舞着手臂，摆动着旋律。

接着，进入游戏，第一场游戏：吹乒乓球，规则是：四个杯里都装着面粉，求放在第一个杯子里，要通过技巧与力度来越过那三座，山岭，落入第四个杯子里。难度很高。而且如果因为接触本游戏而毁容者，概不负责的！

大家听了，争先恐后的上台试验，都希望奖品能落在它手中，班长说：”我先试试。于是，他走到台前看好目标，深呼吸，用力一吹，哎呀，这还是举世闻名的班长吗？是个大白脸了，闹得大家哄堂大笑。班长惭愧的下了台。大家冲上台，轮流试验。瞧！每个人都微笑满面的，可吹完都愁眉白脸的。

然后，大家拭目以待的游戏：击鼓传花。传送物品：柑橘。在音乐播放中把橘子小右边传送，在音乐停止时候句子落在谁的手中，谁就得上台表演一个节目。大家开始紧张了，传到我该怎么办啊？班长一声下令：MUSICGO！交响曲立刻响起。大家便忙得快喘不过气了，没人敢耽误一分钟……音乐突然结束。橘子落在一个男同学手中，他慢慢走上台，想大家吟诵了一首诗……

接着，同学们可以唱自己拿手的歌，评出优秀。主持人先登场，唱了一首歌，调皮王（绰号）偷偷拿着喷带剂，向他身后喷了下去“刷拉”，喷中了脑中央，长了一朵兰花……

一个小时在大家同学们的欢声笑语和激情澎湃中过去了，到了闭幕的时候，班长宣读着闭幕词：今天我们……这次元旦到此结束。

我走出教室，天色已晚。但是我仿佛在那黑暗的天帘里看到了十二个大字，好好努力，不断上进。”我笑了，期末我一定会已最优异的成绩来报答他们！

给自己一个取暖的方式吧！生活，不是不难过，只是不想说，一抹领悟，一怀温暖足以将坍圮的心重建，足以重燃希望。我的大学生活啊，不能重复过去，一昧的沉浸，一昧的无知，回望过去，细细数，一路走，风风雨雨，伤痛和寂寞，其实不过尘墟，遇时间风化后，烟消云散，寻不到最初的那抹痕迹。世事沧海，云过清音，岁月如歌，时光不语，一隅静景，默等花开。

给自一个取暖的方式吧！不论生活在哪里，其实都贵在一份心境，若安好，为晴天，人生似海，如果无法停止在涛海里奔波，那么顺逆无妨，保持初心，才不会迷失方向。有言道：心若向往，则前行，心若疲惫，则小憩。如果因一时的花开未全，阴晴圆缺，而坐等万事休，那也就是荒废了青春，荒废了自己。生活不是活给别人看的，“与其要别人看好，不如自己活的好看”，对此，我非常赞同。谁的青春不曾火热？谁的青春不曾鲁莽？谁的青春不曾寂寞？寻求一分温暖，让自己过的肆意妄为，让自己获得潇洒人生，有什么不好？

暑假，我走进了厦门大学。

厦门大学坐落于福建省厦门，与南普陀寺为邻，同时也是这座城市的名片，每个来到厦门的人，都会来到厦门大学这座被称为“中国最美大学”的学校来目睹它的美丽。

在参观前，我也在网上了解到了厦大的历史，是由著名爱国先生华侨领袖陈嘉庚于1921年创办的，1937年，抗日战争爆发，厦大学生一方面积极参加抗日救国运动，组织成立“国立厦门大学学生救国服务团”，投入反对日本侵略者的斗争；一方面勤勉学习，发愤图强，务期求得真正学问，报效祖国。80年来，学校一直顶承“自强不息，止于至善”的校训，培养出一批批的人才，可谓是历史悠久且影响力极大。

到了厦大门前，看到聚集的游客们在门前拍照，光是大门就这么高耸，校园内部也一定是环境优美，进入校园，映入眼帘的便是两旁郁郁葱葱的榕树，为人们乘凉，校园内的建筑别具特色，其中上弦场和建南大礼堂是厦大的标志性建筑，中西合璧的风格也充实着独特的文化气息。再往里走，便来到了宿舍楼，周围也有许多来来往往厦大的学生，显得悠然自得，不知何时，绿树成荫，高大的榕树耸立在两旁，这些榕树也都有几千年的历史，树枝交错缠绕，形成一个天然的屏障，遮天蔽日。

穿过宿舍楼，来到尽头，便是著名的芙蓉隧道，隧道里都是学生留下的图画和寄语，别具创意。整条隧道在涂鸦、绘画下，变成一条艺术长廊，让过往的人纷纷停下脚步欣赏，墙上还承载着这里毕业生们对厦大真挚的祝福，他们离开这片养育他们的沃土，走向世界各地，但我可以感受到他们对厦大不变的感情，他们的不舍，用这条隧道展现了出来。

不知多久，便走到了尽头，同时也走到厦大的尽头了，而我，却又不舍得离开，厦大80多年的悠久历史，在上个世纪保守了千刀万剐，却在苦难中培养出了一批又一批的英才，这般传奇的学校，是厦门的骄傲，是中国的骄傲，令我永生难忘。

My past university

I want to talk about my past university—Shan Xi Da Tong University. It not only provided me learning environment, but also provided me social practice platform. That is to say, I am not only acquired basic knowledge but also learnt how to get along well with others in four years’ university life .I missed these places mostly, library, student union and my dormitory. I used to study in library because it’s learning environment is very good and it has many kinds of books, but seats are limited; I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made more friends and actived in many extracurricular activities in union, but it often took a lot of time; I like my dormitory best. I shared my happiness and sorrows with my room-mates and I relaxed myself sufficiently in it. But the condition of my dormitory is poor. Above all, University is my unforgettable place. I spent most of my extra-study time in library. Generally speaking, It is a good study place. Firstly, the atmosphere of study is strong, but sometimes someone would receive and make calls, which would impact others’ study. If it can provide a few of fountains, the library would be perfect. Secondly, it has abundant of professional books, thus I can access to needed information timely when I encountered problems in study.

Besides, there are also all kinds of magazine, so I can relax myself and expand my vision when I was tired of studying. But the limited time of borrowed books is short. Last but not least, the seats are limited, which disturbed me very much. I had to go to the library line up very early just for seat. But the desks and chairs are big enough, which gave me much space to think and study and reduced the impact between students. The desks and chairs are tidy and comfortable. All in all, I like our library very much.

I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made many friends in union. I exchanged my idea with others. I enhanced my ability to communicate with others, but I fed up with some students in union because I don’t like their character; I took part in many activities in union, which enhanced my practice skills and accumulated a lot of social experience, but it occasionally made me embarrassed in activities; It took me a lot of time in union, which influenced my study. But at the same time, I eiched my college life and made full use of my spare time. All in all, I think it is worthy to join in the union.

I missed my dormitory and my room-mates. The reasons as follows: Firstly, I shared my happinesses and sorrows with my room-mates.in dormitory we talked and sung loudly and we made on decision on something by absorbing everyone’s advice; but we inevitably had little contradictions sometimes. Secondly, I relaxed myself sufficiently. I shout

big sleep when I was tired of one day’ study to alleviated fatigue and I freely vented myself. But thanks to personal habits are different, we didn’t reach on agreement on something. Lastly, the most regrettable is that the condition of my dormitory is poor. The room is small and there is not bathroom; but I feel very warmly because it’s my another family. I missed my dormitory very much especially my room-mates.

Generally speaking, my college life is interesting and rewarding. I was not only learnt basic professional knowledge but also made many friends and enhanced my practical skills. The library provided me a good learning environment. The union gave me practice platform. The dormitory made me become a happiness girl. I missed my past university very much. Now, I am in a new university and I think I will spend a more meaningfull postgraduate life in there .

Nowadays, colleges and universities enroll an increasing number of students year after year. After four years of study, they have to meet more and more rivals in the labor market, usually many of them going home with no work at all, disappointed.

With more graduates and less job vacancies, students are encouraged to start business of their own when they graduate from university. They may start take up anything they are interested in, make decision on their own, and obtain the fruit of their own labor. In this way, graduates will become more independent, imaginative and creative.

Yet this process should be supported by our government. The government should provide special policies for these students, and when necessary, guide them onto a correct road.
