Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion.

Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for

educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must

have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district

that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in

districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a

"rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science

supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among

other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological

development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

清晨，拉开窗，感觉一份喜悦和风飘来，在微微湿润的空气里酝酿，然后，又轻轻柔柔地钻进我的心里，划起圈圈涟漪。

今天，是属于老师的日子——教师节!

来到学校，每个人的心情都格外好，特别是老师们，收到孩子们写满祝福的礼物，脸上洋溢着灿烂的笑容，流进每个人的心里。

随着第四节课的上课铃清脆悦耳，我们的班主任罗老师踏着铃声笑容满面地走进教室。

文艺汇演课开始了。

同学们欢呼雀跃，老师始终微笑地看着我们。看着老师，我总能想起老师辛勤工作的模样，想起老师灯下疲惫的身影。

教室渐渐安静下来，精彩的节目即将开始!

首先进行的是主持人资格的争夺。共有三组选手参赛，各组选手实力旗鼓相当，竞选进行的异常激烈。罗星星和小敏已是沙场老将了，只见她们从容不迫地走上讲台，流利地朗诵台词，最后大方地鞠了个躬，潇洒地走下讲台：而肖晓和何东东则是别致优雅，大方从容。唯有安小妮一组却在台上突发状况，忘记了主持词，吞吞吐吐，则被首轮淘汰。

最终，罗星星一组胜出，只见她们带着胜利的笑容走上了讲台，精彩的节目正式拉开了序幕!

刘娇，曾杰等人首先上台，表演小品《知错就改》，平日里调皮捣蛋的“鑫猴子”举着“开始”的牌子，像表演京剧似的，嘴里念叨着“咚，咚，咚”的鼓点，滑稽的样子为接下来的情节点下了导火线。

由曾杰扮演的老师，颇有教师风范，有时一脸严肃，有时“杀气”腾腾，有时却像顽童。而“同学们”的扮演者也是“知错就改”，使出了浑身解术，尽心尽力，生动有趣地刻画出各个人物的形象与性格——古灵精怪，有趣搞笑，把罗老师和同学们乐翻，毫无顾忌地哈哈大笑……

而更多初出茅庐的同学也相继登场。

陈娟娟和邹卉这二位演讲者，似乎太过紧张，每迈一步，脚都在颤抖，，而上了讲台，更是挥汗如雨，手紧紧地握在一起，不知所云的样子把我们看的好揪心，台下则有同学开始小声的议论。可罗老师却是宽厚地对她们微笑着鼓励，给了她们莫大的勇气，她们最后平缓了下来，完成了自己的节目。

最后的压轴表演，则是二位节目主持人罗星星和小敏的诗歌朗诵，她们别具一格的编排，把对老师无限的感激和爱，注入了阳光雨露，注入了轻风细柳，融入了盎然春意，才让诗句更动情，更富有诗意。她们完美的演出，打动了老师，更触动了同学们的共鸣……一瞬间，教室完完全全地静了下来，钟盘上的指针也好象全部静止，只有诗句中的话语，如一支饱蘸深情的笔，写意着亲密无间的师生情……

好一会儿，台下才响起一片雷鸣般的掌声，不绝于耳。

笑容一直荡漾在老师和同学们的脸上。我想，或许老师欣慰的，并不是同学们的赞美，真正欣慰的，是我们长大了，懂事了。老师幸福，灿烂的笑容包裹着我们，整个教学亮亮的，满溢着师生情，浓浓的，甜甜的，暖暖的……
