I was a shy girl and I never dared to make performance in the public, but

everything will have the exception. Last week, our English teacher gave us a

job. All students needed to make performance in group. I was chosen to be the

protagonist in my team. At first, I told them that I couldn’t make it, but they

believed that I was the suitable person. So I practised hard and tried to get

over my fear. It was my stage. I stood in front of my classmates. With my

teammates, I finished my job. I felt so cool and dared to face so many

Han Mei is mybest friend. We know each other since we were born. Because we are twins. She ismy elder sisiter. Like most twin sisters, we look almost the same. The mosteasy way to to distinguish us is that she has a scar on her arm. It is myfault. When we are six years old, we played beside the stair, and then I pushedher down the stair accidently. She got hurt but not blame me at all. That isthe history of her scar. Since then our parents always recognize us with thatmark. Han Mei is better than me in study. When I look at the old photo, I cant help thinking of my best friend, Wang Ying. At the age of five, I made friends with her. She lived next door to me, and was then seventeen years old. The twelve years gap in age didnt hinder our growing fondness for each other. She treated me as a younger sister of her own.

In school, Wang Ying was a 3-A student. She did well in every subject. But she never seemed to be proud of her achievements. She was hard-working and good-natured to younger students. One day last year, on her way home, Wang Ying saw a little boy slipping into a pond. The boy was struggling desperately in the water. However, our little hero, like Luo Shengjiao, lost her own life.

春节的脚步慢慢向我们走来，大家，这正在盼着它静悄悄的走来。这不仅是一个让人们愉快的节日，而且对于小孩们来说，是充满了欢乐的。

在综合课上，我们了解到了过春节的习俗是包饺子、贴春联、放鞭炮、拜年、穿新衣服、走亲戚、拜好友……

我们班上的同学都很喜欢过年，他们说：“过年可以得到很多很多的压岁钱，还可以穿新衣服，在走亲戚的时候，还可以和自己的朋友玩一会儿，就感觉非常好，再说了，大年初一那一天，出门拜年还可以吃到很多的糖。”

春节那一天，我们都会很早起床，这是为什么呢?因为我们都要给大人们显摆显摆自己的新衣服，还可以早早的吃长香甜可口的水饺，再说了，我们早起床也可以和哥哥姐姐们玩(因为过年的时候哥哥姐姐们也会再起来到奶奶家里来的)，这样就形成了过年我们早早起床的理由。

在春节那一天，会有许许多多的人来自己家里来拜年，我们则有两种选择，第一：跟着家里的大部队(这里指哥哥姐姐或者是爸爸妈妈、叔叔大爷们)一起去给别人拜年，第二：留在家里等着其他的人来给自己拜年。有了这两种选择，我们就会觉得过年非常好，而我则是今年留在家了，等着别人来给我拜年，明年就跟着家里的大部队一起出“洞”给别人拜年去。
