1.雾霾

3.核心价值观

2013年5月22日，党的十八大报告强调指出:“倡导富强、民主、文明、和谐，倡导自由、平等、公正、法治，倡导爱国、敬业、诚信、友善，积极培育和践行社会主义核心价值观。”

意识进步和物质丰富是社会发展的动力。一个社会的健康发展，总是两者齐头并进、协同发展的结果。如果说文革时期思想挂帅的话，我们今天又偏向了另一个极端：物欲横流。一个时期以来，商业利益的触角以空前的气势，无孔不入、不择手段、丧心病狂、穷凶极恶地侵蚀我们社会的各个角落。于是，教辅读物成了中小学生的恶梦，回扣绑定了婴儿的第一口奶，地沟油、假羊肉走上我们的餐桌，假种子、假农药坑农害农，不法商贩以假冒伪劣攫取利益，无良厂家以偷工减料、克扣工资追求利益最大化，贪污腐败之徒以权力寻租中饱私囊，人性泯灭之医竟贩卖婴儿换取金钱，一时间，“笑贫不笑娼” 的价值观成了一部分人的是非标准。人生的意义和价值被人遗忘，现实的利益被无限放大。然而，人活着的时候，只需一碗饭、一身衣、一张床的事实谁也不能改变，金钱买不来幸福，现代人缺乏幸福感正是因为忘了基本价值观。骗人容易，骗自己难，做了亏心事就做不到内心坦然;真诚换取真诚，美德呼唤美德，而恶行激发恶行，欺诈必受惩罚，这是被生活无数次证明了的事实。诚实劳动不但能创造财富，还能给人成就感，爱心才能让自己变得强大，人生才能幸福;贡献社会才能得社会的回馈，实现利益最大化;保护自然才能向自然索取，得到自然的恩惠。当我们确立了基本价值观，我们的社会才能变得成熟稳健。

4.反腐败

2013年，是以习近平同志为总书记的新一届中央领导集体领航中国驶向新辉煌的第一年。2013年，党中央把党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争提到一个新的高度，摆在更加重要的位置。坚持打“老虎”，蒋洁敏、李东生、刘铁男、陈柏槐、郭有明等省部级领导干部因贪腐纷纷落马;着力拍“苍蝇”，严肃查办了一批发生在群众身边的违纪违法案件。一年之内，中央纪委分4次集中通报了32起违反中央八项规定精神的典型问题;前11个月，全国共查处违反中央八项规定精神的问题计21149起，处理25855人，其中给予党纪政纪处分6247人，不断释放言出必行、执纪必严的强烈信号。

党中央声势浩大的反腐行动，给我们带来了很多启示。⑴事虽难，作则必成。反腐斗争把多少人的饭碗端了，把多少人的自由剥夺了，把多少人的美梦粉碎了，把多少人的财产充公了，反腐的难度有多大可想而知，但一个个贪腐之徒，还是被纪检机关一个个揪了出来，进行了相应的惩罚。⑵愚公移山，可贵的是他的勇气，如果没有移山倒海的勇气，移山的事他连想都不敢想，想不到当然做不到。谁说反腐败就比愚公移山轻松容易了呢?那么，我们是不是常常被要做的事吓倒，连想都不敢想呢?如果这样，那我们还有什么指望呢?⑶做事要有动力。党中央反腐败的动力来自哪里呢?来自对党的前途和命运的责任，来自对国家民族的感情，来自中华儿女自强不息的传统。当我们心里有家有国的时候，我们就会担当一种使命，这种使命，就是我们一切行为的动力。 ⑷只有不断提升自身素质，清除队伍中的害群之马，一个党才能不断壮大;“小松高数尺，未有直生枝，闲即旁边立，看多长却迟”，树木如不看去旁条斜枝，就不容易长高，人不纠正缺点就不能顺利成长，科学研究不纠正错误就难出成果，道理是一样的。⑸从倒台官员的角度看，一个人只有树立了正确的价值观，才能实现事业的成功，得到生活的幸福，才能无愧于党和国家，无愧于家乡父老、妻子儿女，否则，总有一天会遭到天谴，身败名裂，辱没祖先，贻害儿女。⑹追求人生的价值，要靠诚实劳动，贡献国家，服务社会，造福人民，要有“踏石留印、抓铁有痕”意志毅力，战胜艰险，才能显示英雄本色。

6.改革改变

古人早就讲过：“穷则思变”、“途穷知返”，改变几乎是自然的一种本能反应，但在人类社会，几乎所有的社会改革都会遇到阻力。当然，从社会的层面上看，社会的改革必然会影响一些人的既得利益，他们自然会极力阻挠改革的进程，但任何社会，都首先要把大多数人的利益放在首位，否则就会发生社会动荡;而从个人的层面看，一个人如果不能可观认识自己，或者对自己的问题视而不见，或者拒绝改变。阻碍自身改变的主要因素是思想观念和惰性心理。应该讲，学习知识就是为了改变自己，而许多人拥有知识，却拒绝改变自己。在瞬息万变的当今时代，拒绝改变就意味着拒绝进步，所以邓小平在领导中国社会改革之初，就号召大家 “解放思想”，胡锦涛强调“与时俱进”，都是想击破大家顽固保守的思想意识，排除改革路上的阻力。青年学子，要“三省吾身”，不断地、自觉地进行自我更新，以崭新的思想精神面貌，生活在我们这个伟大的时代。荀子在他的《修身篇》中说：“道虽迩，不行不至;事虽小，不为不成。”根据这句话，积极进取的人说：“路虽远，行则必至;事虽难，作则必成。”如果我们想改变自己、改变社会，让我们一定能走在时代的前头，实现我们的梦想。

7.最后一公里

《尚书·旅獒》：“为山九仞，功亏一篑。”《论语·子罕》：子曰：“譬如为山，未成一篑，止，吾止也!譬如平地，虽覆一篑，进，吾往也!”两位圣人不约而同地告诫我们，做事要善始善终，不能半途而废，在功败垂成之际，只要我们坚持走完最后一公里，就能得到完满的结果。

8.自由与约束

春华秋实，夏荣冬枯是植物适应自然规律的方式，追求真善美，拒绝假恶丑是人适应社会法则的方式。草木接受自然的限制，才能茁壮成长，人只有遵守社会法则，才能实现个人价值，宇宙飞船如果脱离它的运行轨道，将在茫茫宇宙中毁灭。一切自由，都是有条件的，只能在某种约束限制的范围内才能实现，没有约束的自由是不存在的。人类一切科学探索的活动，都是为揭示自然规律，然后运用自然规律许可的方式，让自然之力为人类服务。无论是生物工程还是材料科学，都是揭示自然规律并利用自然规律的成就。

还记得去年反网络谣言的事吗?薛蛮子、秦火火等网络谣言的制造者受到了国家法律的惩罚。这事把自律的问题又给我们重申了一次。古人说：“君子慎独。” 意思是君子在独处，缺乏监督的情况下也能谨言慎行。网络是虚拟世界，我们又大多戴着网名的面具在网上冲浪，在这样一种双重保护下，有些人的言行就肆无忌惮了，把社会对我们的基本约束置之脑后，无中生有，捏造事实，侵害别人的正当权益，然而放弃自律，不是害人，就是害己，因为我们不能指望一辆冲出马路的汽车能干什么好事，一旦造成后果，还得自己来负责。可见古人的训诫是有先见之明的。

如果我们再想想，贪腐官员那个不是在缺乏监督的情况下放弃自律，才受到法律严惩的呢?这样说来，我们只有把社会规范内化为行为习惯，我们才能得到自由。再想想孙悟空头上的紧箍咒，在他试图不受约束的时候，它就起作用，而当孙悟空修成正果，把约束内化为自己的行为准则后，这玩意就消失不见了。哪一个遵守纪律的学生会觉得学校纪律是对自己的约束呢?

9.真诚与踏实

真诚待事，才能踏实做事。遇事不真诚，就会敷衍，就会懈怠，就会弄虚作假，就会挂一漏万，漏洞百出。无论工作还是学习，只要真心实意，就没有做不成的事，只有真心实意，才能踏石留印、抓铁有痕，只有真心实意，才能充分调动聪明才智，把事做好。

10.戒奢以简

2013年，党中央颁布了“八条禁令”，开展群众路线教育实践活动，在全社会倡导节俭之风，反对侈靡奢华，① 从地球能源利用的角度看，热力学第二定律告诉我们，我们烧掉一块煤，就再也不能把同一块煤重新烧一次来做同样的功了，我们时刻面临着熵的增加，地球能源的枯竭。②从思想修养的角度看，节俭是一种品质，是节俭者对物品的怜惜，对劳动的尊重，对他人的关怀。③从心理学的角度看，因面子、排场而浪费，是一种不自信的表现，它企图以浪费东西来证明自己某方面的能耐;同时，这种证明，往往只是自己一厢情愿的事，是自己想当然的事，用这种方法证明自己，反而会遭到别人的鄙视。人的面子是个人能力、贡献大小决定的，而不是排场用度决定的。④从奢华浪费的来源上看，慷别人之慨、以自身试法者多，花自己钱、害自己利者少;奢华浪费暴露了人的自私、人的贪欲，让我们看到了人最丑陋的一面。

It can be noticed that there are some unhealthy living habits among young people, especially college students. Typical examples include staying up late, being addicted to games, consuming in an inappropriate way. Thus, due attention should be paid to students daily habits.

Apparently, these bad habits may generate negative impacts. To begin with, they may impair students physical health and psychological fitness.
