A boy was hit by a car when he was walking across the road with headphones. Many people saw it, but at first no one knew how to help. Then someone rushed forwards and covered the boy with his coat to keep warm. He looked after him well until the ambulance came. It was Jack! His calmness and seasoned first aid skills moved mom. “唉，真讨厌!凭什么周一到周五不让我玩手机嘛!其他同学爸妈都没有管得这么严!”我整个人郁闷地瘫倒在床上，愤愤不平地敲打着枕头，控诉着爸妈的“罪行”。对了!我脑袋里灵光一闪——爸妈只是口头上说说，可并未强硬地收过我的“宝贝”。我脑子一热，探出脑袋往房门外瞄了几眼，见四下没人，偷偷从床底下摸出手机来……

就这样，我每晚偷偷地将手机摸出来玩一番再沉沉入睡。

那一天，我回家做完作业，如法炮制，只是更大胆地拿进了卫生间，锁好玻璃门，一边上厕所一边玩，时不时透过门下的百页格观察父母的动向。不知不觉二十几分钟过去了，门外的爸爸感到不对劲了，叫我赶快出来，声音是从未有过的严厉。我慌慌张张将手机藏入换下的衣服里，揉成一团抱在怀中，低着头心虚地走回房间，将藏着秘密的衣服团放在椅子上。这时妈妈走了过来，“你衣服怎么这样乱堆，拿来我帮你整理一下。”我一阵心慌，一把抢过衣服嚷嚷：“不要，我自己会叠。”便匆匆走到客厅，开始装模作样地叠起衣服。

爸爸一直紧跟着我，随我一屁股坐在了沙发上。盯了我老半天，爸爸才淡淡地来一句：“你的手机呢?”这句话如平地惊雷，炸得我心都跳到了嗓子眼上，却又故作镇定：“放我房间呢。”此话一出，骤然感觉身边的温度降到了冰点。“拿来给我。”话中不带一丝感情色彩。我愣了老半天，终是悄悄带上手机走向房间，立马关了机又装模作样拿在手里，上交。心想：“总算蒙混过关了。”

可这事却还没有了结。我坐在床上，爸爸面色紧绷，主动提出要跟我谈一谈。我心里猛地一紧。紧接着，爸爸说出了让我一生难忘的话：“你以为我不知道你那点小动作吗?晚上来帮你盖被子，你要不是拿着手机睡着了，就是放在枕头底下充电。卫生间里你看得见我们，我们还看不见你吗?我们想要的，不过是你那句承认罢了。因为诚实的孩子才是最可爱的!”我终于承受不了自责、愧疚，忍不住放声大哭，向他们道歉，也向自己忏悔。

哭完了，秘密也曝光了，但我的心却感到从未有过的舒坦，这段时间来承受的压力也一扫而光，早知今日，我为何不早点向父母坦诚呢?爸妈向来都是明理之人，因为相信我才让我自己保管手机，我却让他们失望，相信经过这次的事，我一定能对他们坦诚相待的。正如爸爸所说，诚实是一种美德，家人与朋友间最完美的境界也就是坦诚相待。

Almost everyone knows that water covers three-fourths of the earths surface. Most of it， however， is in the oceans and is too salty to drink. Also， some of it is frozen and cannot be used. In fact， less than one percent is left for the use of people， animals and plant life. All through history men have tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on. Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year 2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it. Some nations have worked on the problem and are already sharing their information with others. They are trying to keep their rivers from becoming polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water to satisfy the needs of their people.

从2003年的非典，到20_年的新冠。17年过去了，但人类什么都没有改变。依然“自大”“无知”“独裁”。2003年的非典我没有经历过，但20_年的新冠足以让我明白，生命就是一个空心的玻璃球，万万碰不得!大自然的底线碰不得!珍视人类与自然的和谐，就是珍视生命;珍视野生动物的生命，就是珍视人类自己的生命!珍视这平凡而美好的生活!
