七天国庆假，好歹也要腾出一天出去玩玩。上午，我和妈妈去了好友徐海峰家。吃过午饭，大家商量了一下去哪里走走，他们家离西湖很近，但西湖实在是去了很多次了，于是我们便决定去宝石山上走走。

上一次到宝石山时，是小学的事了，那时候在少年宫上课，妈妈有时候会带我去看看。现在，我和海峰都是初中生了，这么一想，时间真是快得有些吓人!我们一行四人两对母子，边走边聊天徒步走到宝石山，开始是一个台阶一级一级地爬楼梯。宝石山很小，没过多久我们就到了半山腰不过再往上去，基本就要靠自己爬了，也有很多小路，你可以选择一路爬上山顶，也可以走小道上去。不同的选择，欣赏的是不同的风景。

大部分人都选择了一路怕过去。山上巨石很多，站在顶部，脚下全是石头，绵延到远处，这种石头比较特殊，整体略呈红色，据说在夕阳西下的时候，整座山有种红霞披盖的感觉，此景就是著名的“宝石流霞，”“宝石山”的名字也由此而来。不过我们去的时候，是在下午，太阳很大，天气晴朗，太阳晒过来有些热，整座山略呈黄色。而且山上人极多，不愧是在国庆假期的出行，哪里都是人海。山上还不算拥挤，站在山顶上的时候，能看到几乎整个西湖。远处望去只见西湖边上的一圈密密麻麻的都是人，还有断桥、苏堤上也是站满了人，以至于我都有些担心会不会塌下去。

还有一点值得一提，在宝石山上的半山腰上有一座保俶塔。它也是宝石山的一个标志符号，一个代表建筑。这座塔不是很高，有十多米，塔比较细，全部是石头做的，是一座实心塔。站在塔下向上看，还是能感受到一股雄伟的感觉。

下山很快也很容易，下来的游人中，有的汗流浃背，有的则怡然自在的悠闲走着，同样是爬一座山，有的人收获的是心灵的宁静，而有的人体会到了惊险与刺激还有锻炼登高的更多体验。

下山后，我们还是一路上的谈笑风生步行回去。假期里和好友一起出趟门也是件难得的事情。
