Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

I once heard a moving story about a mother.Two childrens were drawn into the flood and the situations was very dangerous.Their mother jumped into the water without hesitation.But the mother couldnt swim at all.Jumping into the water means she might lose her life.But at that time she had no time to think about herself.She just wanted to try all means to save her children.Maybe her courage touched the God.The miracle happened.She finally succeeded in saving her both children.And she,of course,felt extremely exhausted.

My friends,mothers love is the greatest love.Mothers love is the safest love.No matter you are happy or depressed ,rich or poor ,mothers love will always stay with you.

I have a wonderful family.Im lucky to be a part of it.Let me tell you about them. My family name is Lee.My family history is long and proud.There are five people in my family now. My parents love me very much.They do a lot for me.When I need help, they are always there.

My dad is a strong guy.Hes honest and hardworking.Hes like a superhero to me. My mom is a smart woman.She can do almost anything.I just cant praise her enough. I have two siblings.They are my older brother and younger sister.Sometimes we argue,but we mainly get along.

My family likes being together.We like eating out and going to the movies.We also enjoy hiking and having picnics. My family isnt perfect.We have our ups and downs.But we always forgive and make up. 大家好!

在我们青少年的生活中，吸烟已经屡见不鲜的事情了。 相信每一个人都知道,烟草的危害是当今世界最严重的公共卫生问题之一，是人类健康所面临的最大的危险因素。目前全球烟民的总量已突破13亿人，每年因吸烟致死近500万人.为此,1987年11月联合国世界卫生组织建议将1988年的4月7日定为第一个世界无烟日,以后固定为每年的5月31日，开展这项活动,目的在于警醒世人吸烟有害健康，呼吁人们放弃烟草，为人类自己创造一个健康的生存环境，那么烟草究竟有多大危害呢 ?

世界卫生组织曾发表过一项声明中指出：“如今烟草已经成为全球的第二大杀手.吸烟所产生的破坏比非典和最近的海啸还要严重.如果维持当前的趋势不变,到2020年,每年将有1000万人因吸烟而过早去世。”

既然烟草有如此可怕的危害,为什么有众多的人吸烟呢?分析其原因主要有两个：一是烟草中所含的尼古丁令人上瘾，使人对它产生依赖，不容易戒掉;另一个原因是大多数人还没有把吸烟看成是一个丑陋的,既害人又害己的恶习，相反，认为这是一件很有派头，很潇洒的事，因此，吸烟的人群像滚雪球一样越滚越大，人们对它的依赖也越来越强。

吸烟不仅是社会广为人知有害身胸，而且还是一种奢华高昂消费。更是现阶段虚荣心的年轻人追逐潮流，吸出品牌，追求她人、异性羡慕目光。说白了便是耍酷，同学虽然你家里是有不匪的经济财富，但你有否想过你的父母亲，为了一个家庭讨生计、他们工作得多么辛苦啊!赚来的钱多不容易呢!而你却如此毫无价值地烧掉，想想吧!以我个人浅识鄙见、在烟的成份含量中存在有好几种有害物质、相应的毒素，对人体潜沉伏体入，吸烟达到一定含量，便无形的伤害身心健康。

吸烟对本人自身健康有害，从而导致相当多的病源，常见现象如：咽喉炎、多痰咳嗽等等。。。。更是带来社会环境影响，吸烟患者太多数都有有不良卫生习惯，如随便向人群咳嗽，就地吐痰，从而影响市容文明，破坏环境卫生，传柒病毒、恶劣循环状况。

对青少年来说，吸烟的危害远比想象中大得多，不仅会导致很多疾病，还会影响骨骼生长发育，这是因为青少年正处于身体迅速成长发育的阶段，身体的各器官系统还没有发育成熟，对各种有毒物质的抵抗力不强，受烟雾的毒害也就更深，甚至可以导致早衰。吸烟还可能使青少年养成不良的生活习惯，诱发不良行为，甚至引发犯罪.。

为了我们自己的健康，为了我们祖国的未来，我们呼吁，青少年都要自觉地远离香烟，并劝说吸烟的亲友尽量戒烟，毕竟，香烟对我们有害无益;毕竟，没有烟雾的空气会更加清新，没有烟草的生命会更加绚烂!

母亲对我们有三重恩：生我之痛；养我之幸；育我之苦！母亲给了我们生命，教会我们怎么做人，给予我们教育和开导。我们在渐渐长大，而妈妈却渐渐老去！

同学们，其实人的一生，很短！眼睛一闭一睁，一天就过去了；眼睛一闭不睁，一辈子就过去了！人生苦短，不过也就那几个十年而已！妈妈为我们的成长付出的心血，是无法估量的！或许比天高，或许比地厚，或许比水深。

有首歌，叫《感恩的心》。这首歌告诉我们：拥有一颗“感恩”的心，善于发现事物的美好，感受平凡中的美丽，那我们就会以坦荡的心境、开阔的胸怀来应对生活中的酸甜苦辣，让原本平淡的生活焕发出迷人的光彩！

感恩，读懂它，它可以让你知道许多你不曾发现的真理！报答不一定要奢华！感恩不一定要轰烈，只有你有那颗真挚的心，就已经足够了！

妈妈的一生都是在操劳！她忘我的工作，只为满足我们的那小小的私心！她不辞辛苦的唠叨，只为我们的健康着想，！她不知疲惫的做家务，只为让我们有一个舒适，干净的家！感恩我们的母亲吧！因为她，我们没有理由不去做好每一件事！

现在的我们长大了，懂事了！不再是以往那个调皮捣蛋的小朋友了！也许我们都在准备，等待一个时机去行动，给妈妈一个意外的惊喜！

感恩是一种生活态度。从前我一直不这样认为，我觉得所有的一切应该是命中注定或上苍所赐，我和所有男男女女一样，多了一颗抱怨的心。

但从我看过教育演讲后，一切恰恰相反，当我被邹老师那发自内心的呼唤，唤醒了我沉睡的心灵。让我对生活有了许多感触，邹老师她的演讲太精辟了，每时每刻都拨动着我们的心弦给我们灌输思想教育，使我得受感动。因为她让我懂得感恩的真谛。

在人类的精神天空中，感恩不是飘忽而逝的云彩，而是云彩背后一片洁净的湛蓝。感恩在人类精神的坐标中，不是偶然，而是永恒。感恩的行为是自然的，它是一种无意识，向须臾不停的呼吸，伴随在生命的韵律之间。人类的美是以爱来呈现的，而感恩之心是人类心田中最美的种子，它发芽之后，开出爱之花，结出爱之果。我觉得经历了这种沧海桑田的人一定寡言、少语，或者喜欢独处沉默。不懂得感恩的人不知道幸福的滋味。不化妆的微笑更纯洁而美好，不化妆的目光更坦率而真诚，不化妆的女人更有勇气面对人生。

感恩节是美国一个折不扣地最地道的国定假日。这一天，具有各种信仰和各种背景的美国人，共同为他们一年来所受到上苍的恩典表示感谢，虔诚的祈求上帝继续赐福。

可是，大多时候，我们缺少了一个感恩的心!

是的，感恩是生活中的大智慧。有了感恩的心，一花，一草、一木、一树，一嗔笑、一落泪、一心算、一动情……人世间，看花倾城，那红尘中小小的善和好，足以打动冷漠的心。常怀感恩的心，便不多言回报，只问耕耘，感谢上苍给你这么鲜活的生命，慈爱的父母，手心手背的兄弟，纯粹的爱，美好的生活……这生活中的感恩，多一份付出，便多了一份欣喜。

感恩之心是我们能够知道生活中的甜与苦;感恩之心又足以使稀释我们心中曾经的积怨和愤恨，并且让它慢慢云淡风轻;感恩之心还让我们在自己宁静的世界里，不以物喜，不以己忧，用干净的眼神看得世界，用纯粹的心灵面对生活，用一个颗感恩的心去贴近生活，用我们丰富的内心之火，去调和生活调色板中的色彩。这样，生活的色彩才不会凝固，才是流动的，鲜活的，跳跃的，而我和你，才会活得如此禅意，如此芬芳。

拥有感恩的心，会看到生活细微处的美妙和动人，会听到风在空气里流动的音乐，会等待春天的到来，会期盼着一个约定;会思念远方的朋友，会在突然的霎那就轻轻笑了，因为，你懂得，生活原本十分美妙，而感恩，使一件幸福的事。

懂得感恩的人是幸福的人，成功的人，受欢迎的人。

敬爱的老师、亲爱的同学们：

大家好，今天我演讲的题目是《从小事做起，培养良好的习惯》。俗话说“五岁成习，六十亦然。”这就说明良好习惯的养成对我们的一生会产生巨大的影响。一个好习惯会让我们终生受益，会成为我们一生的好老师。

古今中外，凡是有所作为的人，无一例外都拥有自己的好习惯。那么好的习惯从何而来呢?这就需要我们在日常生活中处处严格要求自己，努力做好身边的一点一滴。

但是，在我们美丽的校园中总有一些令人不满意的现象出现。我们不难看到，刚刚清扫后的校园，就有我们同学扔下的饮料罐，塑料袋;在书声琅琅的课堂上，有的同学却心不在焉，萎靡不振;在安静无声的自习课上，有的同学唧唧喳喳甚至高声喧哗;在庄严肃穆的升旗仪式上，有的同学却左顾右盼，窃窃私语。还有一些同学受一些不良习惯的影响，讲粗话，脏活，争吵，打架，搞不团结，把充满知识氛围的校园变成他们肆意放纵自己的场所，影响了学校形象和周围同学。

以上这种种现象，不仅严重违反了小学生日常行为规范，而且也破坏了学校为我们提供的优美和谐的育人环境，更不利于我们养成良好的行为习惯。

同学们，作为人生才起步的小学生，如花蕾、似朝阳。我们每个人的日常生活、学习都是由一件件小事构成的，小事如滴水，积多成汪洋，我们不能对这些不起眼的小事轻视怠慢。请记住：关注细节，生活无小事。所有成功者，无不是从小事做起;所有成功者，无不是关注身边每一个细节，无不是养成了良好的行为习惯。当然好习惯不是口头上说说，一朝一夕就能养成的，根据专家的研究发现：21天以上的重复会成为习惯，90天的重复会形成稳定的习惯。这就需要我们具有一种锲而不舍的精神，一种坚持到底的信念，一种脚踏实地的务实态度，一种自动自发的责任心，一种没有任何借口的行为准则。只有这样，我们才会成功，才会成为强者，才会立于不败之地。

同学们，让我们行动起来吧!从每一件小事做起，养成一个个良好的习惯，让好习惯和我们朝夕相处，帮我们打开成功的大门吧!

各位老师、各位同学：

早上好!

下周学校将进行期中考试、教学常规检查、学生教学问卷调查等工作，期中考试周一、周二进行。考后召开教师质量分析会、学生期中表彰大会、家长会等各项工作。具体安排在上周的年级组长、教研组长、备课组长会议已布置。希望大家齐心协力共同来做好!

今天我在此利用升旗时间做期中考试动员，为的是给同学们充分的准备时间。不管什么考试，都是对我们学习情况的检测，学习成果的总结，同时也是比较，是竞争，是较量，更是机会。同学们要努力考出水平，考出成绩，在班级、年级比较中找到自己的位置，在竞争中进步成长，在总结反思中进一步明确自己努力的方向。

要有好成绩，就必须拥有好的方法及策略，为此，向同学们提出几点建议：

第一，希望同学们做学习的有心人，有计划安排好各科复习。要统筹兼顾，全面复习，切不可“单科突进”。同学们，要想考上好的高中，必须要平衡发展。有部分同学学习凭着自己的喜好来，严重偏科，这样只有害你自己。另外，要保证复习时间的有效投入，日常琐事，要抓紧处理。要学会统筹安排时间，合理的利用时间。时间是挤出来的，不管是整块时间还是零散时间，都要倍加珍惜。零散时间，都是宝贵的光阴，一样是“时不再来”。

第二，希望同学们系统复习，夯实基础，消灭“知识死角”。在本周，我们老师会对前面学过的知识进行疏理，我们一定要跟着老师来，复习课非常重要，我们前面学过的知识可能是零散的，复习课就是把这些零散的知识进行整理，进行优化，使知识系统化、规范化，以便在考试中能快速提取和迁移，触及一点，能迅速产生联想，真正变成自己的财富，形成自己的“血肉”。所以同学们千万别小看了复习课。要在老师的指导下，积累优秀试题和优秀解法，领会各学科的一些解题技巧，进行错题总结，从而使自己少走弯路。总之，就是要把平时学习的，掌握的知识、技能在试卷上充分反映出来。

第三，考试时要对自己充满信心，要沉着冷静。科学对待考试，认真分析试题，仔细推敲，先易后难。基础题：仔细审题拿全分;中档题：一丝不苟少失分;难题：坚定信心多得分;考试时还要抓好步骤。解题的过程也是一个推理的过程，基本的要点步骤必须齐全，不仅自己心里明白，更重要的是让阅卷老师感到顺理成章，思路清晰连贯。考试中是按步得分，关键性的要点、步骤少了，就会扣分。平时训练中，要注意总结每一类型的题目的解题思路和方法，力求解题步骤、要点齐全完整。

第四、诚信考试。考试还是一次人的品行的检测。我希望大家秉承“诚信至上”的原则，以饱满的精神，自信地踏入考场。学校在七年级、八年级各设一个诚信试场，学生申请，班主任挑选，选上学生要诚信承诺保证。严肃考场纪律，杜绝作弊，让竞争在平等、公平、和谐中展开，让一切的付出和汇报真实、纯净。

最后，我想对九年级的同学说：九年级的学习、生活是辛苦的，但也是充实的。今天的辛苦，才会换来明天的幸福，今天的付出也是为了明天的收获。希望你们在今年的时间里，明确目标，增强信心，刻苦学习，不负家长和老师的期盼，跨进理想的高中，做好学弟学妹们的榜样。

大家知道，一分耕耘，一份收获，只要付出，总有回报。我们的期末区统考、中考一年比一年进步，实现了一年又一年、一次又一次的超越。这些成绩的取得，靠的是什么?靠的是我们全体师生有目标、有信心、有毅力的精神状态，靠的是我们全体师生团结拼搏、奋发向上的思想动力，靠的是我们全体师生踏踏实实、一丝不苟的学习和工作的作风。

Faculty, family, friends, and fellow graduates, good evening.

I am honored to address you tonight. On behalf of the graduating masters and doctoral students of Washington Universitys School of Engineering and Applied Science, I would like to thank all the parents, spouses, families, and friends who encouraged and supported us as we worked towards our graduate degrees. I would especially like to thank my own family, eight members of which are in the audience today. I would also like to thank all of the department secretaries and other engineering school staff members who always seemed to be there when confused graduate students needed help. And finally I would like to thank the Washington University faculty members who served as our instructors, mentors, and friends.

As I think back on the seven-and-a-half years I spent at Washington University, my mind is filled with memories, happy, sad, frustrating, and even humorous.

Tonight I would like to share with you some of the memories that I take with me as I leave Washington University.

I take with me the memory of my office on the fourth floor of Lopata Hall - the room at the end of the hallway that was too hot in summer, too cold in winter, and always too far away from the womens restroom. The window was my offices best feature. Were it not for the physics building across the way, it would have afforded me a clear view of the arch. But instead I got a view of the roof of the physics building. I also had a view of one corner of the roof of Urbauer Hall, which seemed to be a favorite perch for various species of birds who alternately won perching rights for several weeks at a time. And I had a nice view of the physics courtyard, noteworthy as a good place for watching people run their dogs. Its amazing how fascinating these views became the longer I worked on my dissertation. But my favorite view was of a nearby oak tree. From my fourth-floor vantage point I had a rather intimate view of the tree and the various birds and squirrels that inhabit it. Occasionally a bird would land on my window sill, which usually had the effect of startling both of us.

I take with me the memory of two young professors who passed away while I was a graduate student. Anne Johnstone, the only female professor from whom I took a course in the engineering school, and Bob Durr, a political science professor and a member of my dissertation committee, both lost brave battles with cancer. I remember them fondly.

I take with me the memory of failing the first exam in one of the first engineering courses I took as an undergraduate. I remember thinking the course was just too hard for me and that I would never be able to pass it. So I went to talk to the professor, ready to drop the class. And he told me not to give up, he told me I could succeed in his class. For reasons that seemed completely ludicrous at the time, he said he had faith in me. And after that my grades in the class slowly improved, and I ended the semester with an A on the final exam. I remember how motivational it was to know that someone believed in me.

I take with me memories of the midwestern friendliness that so surprised me when I arrived in St. Louis 8 years ago. Since moving to New Jersey, I am sad to say, nobody has asked me where I went to high school.

I take with me the memory of the short-lived computer science graduate student social committee lunches. The idea was that groups of CS grad students were supposed to take turns cooking a monthly lunch. But after one grad student prepared a pot of chicken that poisoned almost the entire CS grad student population and one unlucky faculty member in one fell swoop, there wasnt much enthusiasm for having more lunches.

I take with me the memory of a more successful graduate student effort, the establishment of the Association of Graduate Engineering Students, known as AGES. Started by a handful of engineering graduate students because we needed a way to elect representatives to a campus-wide graduate student government, AGES soon grew into an organization that now sponsors a wide variety of activities and has been instrumental in addressing a number of engineering graduate student concerns.

I take with me the memory of an Engineering and Policy department that once had flourishing programs for full-time undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.

I take with me memories of the 1992 U.S. Presidential debate. Eager to get involved in all the excitement I volunteered to help wherever needed. I remember spending several days in the makeshift debate HQ giving out-of-town reporters directions to the athletic complex. I remember being thrilled to get assigned the job of collecting film from the photographers in the debate hall during the debate. And I remember the disappointment of drawing the shortest straw among the student volunteers and being the one who had to take the film out of the debate hall and down to the dark room five minutes into the debate - with no chance to re-enter the debate hall after I left.

I take with me memories of university holidays which never seemed to apply to graduate students. I remember spending many a fall break and Presidents Day holiday with my fellow grad students in all day meetings brought to us by the computer science department.

I take with me memories of exams that seemed designed more to test endurance and perseverance than mastery of the subject matter. I managed to escape taking any classes that featured infamous 24-hour-take-home exams, but remember the suffering of my less fortunate colleagues. And what doctoral student could forget the pain and suffering one must endure to survive the qualifying exams?

I take with me the memory of the seven-minute rule, which always seemed to be an acceptable excuse for being ten minutes late for anything on campus, but which doesnt seem to apply anywhere else I go.

I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. Over the several years that I attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.

I take with me memories of purple parking permits, the West Campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on Delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in Lopata Hall, The Greenway Talk, division III basketball, and trying to convince Dean Russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed.

Finally, I would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. What would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right? Anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of Lake Forest College by Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss - Heres how it goes:

My uncle ordered popovers

from the restaurants bill of fare.

And when they were served,

he regarded them

with a penetrating stare . . .

Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom

as he sat there on that chair:

"To eat these things,"

said my uncle,

"you must excercise great care.

You may swallow down whats solid . . .

BUT . . .

you must spit out the air!"

And . . .

as you partake of the worlds bill of fare,

thats darned good advice to follow.

Do a lot of spitting out the hot air.

And be careful what you swallow.

六月，不仅有大家熟悉的儿童节和父亲节，还有一个特别有意义的日子——世界环境日。

优美和谐的自然环境，给我们以美的感受，“明月松间照，清泉石上流”，让我们感受清幽;“大漠孤烟直，长河落日圆”，让我们体验壮阔;“流连戏蝶时时舞，自在娇莺恰恰啼”让我们领略幽雅。春天，有草长莺飞的生机勃勃;夏日，有接天莲叶的盈盈绿意;秋天，有“晴空一鹤”的悠悠惬意;冬夜，有“千树万树梨花开”的素雅。

对于我们中学生来说，保护环境应当从校园中做起。我们的校园环境十分幽雅，春夏秋冬各是一幅美丽的画卷。可是令人惋惜的是，校园中一些破坏环境的不文明现象仍然存在：碧绿的草坪里长出了白色的塑料花，垃圾桶的几步之遥处静静地躺着食品包装袋，冷饮木棒在校园中到处可见，粉笔灰随风起舞……消除这些与美丽校园不协调的现象，需要我们每一位同学的配合。

在大人的生意上，我所见到的，几乎都是讲诚信的。例如：坚决不卖三无产品，绝不把过期的东西摆在货架上。记得有一次：我蹦蹦跳跳到了面包店，正买单时，我摸了摸钱的边缘，感觉手感不太对劲，我对卖面包的阿姨说：“阿姨，你给我的这张貌似是假钱呀，可不可以换一张呢?”充满诚信的阿姨接过了这张一百元，看了看，然后连忙从抽屉里换了一张崭新的一百元给了我，嘴里不停地念叨着：“抱歉，抱歉，我真的没太注意······”我看出来了，她的眼里充满着的是诚信，大家都说“诚信是金。”这个阿姨，多么充满充满诚信呀!、

说着说着，我突然想到了四年级下学期品德与社会这本课本上一个讲诚信的小故事：有一个小男孩，找同学借了一本课外书，这个小男孩对那个同学承诺，一个星期后必定把书还回去。时间飞逝，转眼间，一个星期就要到了，可这个小男孩还没有把这本书看完，怎么办呢?于是，这个小男孩把他还没有看完的内容抄到了自己的本子上，然后准准时时的把书给还回去了!这个故事让我联想：这个小男孩那么讲诚信，他一定受到很多同学的信任吧!

一颗高贵的心是无法用金钱买到的，一片纯美的心地也比金子更珍贵，当你播下一粒诚实的种子，你的心灵大地上收获的将是无价之宝!

在茫茫宇宙中，有一颗美丽的星球——地球。可现在，这美丽的星球上却出现了大面积的旱灾！！为了地球，我们是否想过要保护地球，珍惜水资源呢？

大家别看地球上的水储量有138.6亿亿立方米，可其中咸水就占了97.5%，淡水却只有2.5%。然而，在这些淡水之中又有近69%被冻在地球的两极地带，3%储存在地下含水层和永久的冻土之中。另外，湖泊、河流、土壤中所容纳的淡水只占淡水储量的0.33%。也就是说，地球上仅有100万亿立方米的水来维系生命循环与代谢的地球总水量！

目前，世界上已经有100多个国家和地区缺水，我们中国也在其中。全国600多座城市中，有300多座城市缺水，严重的有108座！

端午节，门插艾，香满堂，吃粽子，洒白酒，龙舟下水喜洋洋。这些，都是曾经端午节上最热闹的活动，然而，随着时代的变迁，社会节奏的加快，外来文化的大举入侵，中国人不再眷顾流传几千年的中国传统文化，而是将目光转向了“圣诞节”“愚人节”这样的节日，面对这种现状，我们不得不感到悲哀，发出“端午节是否不再姓“中”这样的疑问。

当我们还沉浸在西洋节日的欢声笑语中时，据可靠消息说“亚洲某国准备向联合国教科文组织申报端午节为本国的文化遗产，目前已将其列入国家遗产名录。

听到这种消息，中国人除了惊讶只有尴尬，这不仅仅是一个传统节日的得失，不仅仅是少了几项庆祝活动，更重要的是，这是中国的传统节日，文化内涵丰富，留存着华夏民族独特的文化记忆，每过一次传统节日，就是中华民族凝聚力和向心力的一次加强和洗礼，如今，这个拥有XX多年历史的传统佳节眼瞅着即将成为他国的国家遗产，我们将有多么尴尬?

无庸讳言，这些年来，我国的传统节日，似乎总离不开吃。端午节吃粽子，清明节吃青团，元宵节吃汤圆，中秋节吃月饼，春节更不在话下——大鱼大肉让你吃到不想吃。农耕社会对饥饿的恐惧，形成了我国传统节日最鲜明的风俗——吃。如今，满足了温饱需求的人们正在奔向全面小康，什么时候都有的吃，想吃多少都可以，传统节日的吸引力一下子失去了特有的魅力。

在继承传统文化方面，我们守着“聚宝盆”却不善于保护和挖掘。比如文字，当代青年有几个熟识并能运用繁体字?连文字都不认识又如何了解古代文化?再比如造纸，我国造纸工业化生产的结果是传统手工业的流失，许多高质量的宣纸要到日本或韩国才能买到，他们不但继承了我们的传统造纸技术，还有新的发展。就拿端午节来说，它已融入各个临近国家的文化中，形成了独特的生命力——在新加坡，每年端午节举行的国际龙舟邀请赛闻名于世;在韩国，端午节被称为车轮节，是插秧结束后祈求丰年的日子。在很长一段时间里，中国人着眼于创新，却往往容易忽视对传统的坚持，文化的缺失必然导致精神断层甚至扭曲，而精神文明的再次断层又将带来什么?有句话说的好：只有民族的才是世界的。在面临全球经济一体化的今天，该如何保护与继承我们的传统文化，显然已是一个不容回避的问题。而现时的洋节兴盛与传统节日衰弱间的反差，更凸显了这个问题的迫切性

People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. For me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.

诚信是上天赐给世人的一种考验。有许多人不能通过这场考验，逃匿了；也有许多人通过了这场考验，戴上了桂冠。逃匿的人随这时间的消逝而消逝，没留下些什么；通过得人也会消逝，但他们却仍活在人们的心中，人们会把他抬举得很高很高。

诚信是道德建设的根本，也是非常宝贵的资源。社会之所以成为一个整体，诚信起着重要的作用。在古人眼里的“一诺千金”可以说价值连城。缺少了诚信这种宝贵的资源，人们的能力、智慧、正直、善良之心就难以维护，这个社会，这个人也就缺少了存在的依据和发展的空间。

试想，如果社会缺失了诚信，每个成员都将生活在恐惧、步履小心的怀疑境地：早上起床吃早餐你会问，牛奶是不是病奶牛产的？包子里面的肉是否可靠？听到某著名公司产值大增的新闻报道，你不禁要问是媒体虚假宣传还是公司的战略浮夸？去银行存钱，营业员把你递的钱从验钞机里过了一遍又一遍，看是否有假币；去超市买东西，对找你的钱看了又看，担心遭到暗算……

“人不信于一时，则不信于一世”。诚信对一个人而言，有时候与眼前利益相斥，很多人缺失一种长远的眼光来看待诚信，实际上，诚信只有一次，只要你有一次丧失了诚信，你的信任度就会下降，甚至还会出现信任危机。

然而，在我们身边缺失诚信的事情却时有发生：虚假广告横行天下；劣质商品充斥市场；考生作弊现象严重；“豆腐*”工程造成无数人间悲剧……难怪时常有人对某些真实的消息产生怀疑，甚至有调查显示，“信用危机”已成为阻碍中国经济发展的一大因素。

“重诺守信，人必近之；狡诈欺蒙，人必远之”。我们应该远离而虞我诈，圆滑世故，多一份真诚，多一点信任，脚踏一方诚信的净土，浇灌出人生最美丽的花朵。

愿我们所有的人都把诚信之心携带在人生的道路上，让诚信的人生散发出金子般的人格光芒，夯筑起人生坚不可摧的铜墙铁壁！

大家好，我是来自某年某班的某某，首先，我给大家讲一个故事。

一次，有个人到河边钓鱼，遇到一个捕蟹的老人，身背一个大蟹篓，但没有上盖。他出于好心，提醒老人说：“大伯，你的蟹篓忘了盖上。”老上慈祥地看了他一眼，说：“小伙子谢谢你的好意，但我想告诉你：蟹篓可以不盖。要是有蟹爬出来，别的蟹就会把它钳住，结果谁都跑不掉。”

有人就很像蟹。记得某地发生大地震，有个小煤矿的工人谁也不甘落后，争先恐后往外挤。由于坑道口太小，把出口堵死了，结果谁也无法逃生。而在附近也有一个小煤矿，队长当时很镇定，他大声喊道：“大家不要挤，一个一个来!”他自己并不急于逃生，而是留在后面指挥，结果二十多个矿工会都安全逃了出来，他自己也脱离了险境。

生活往往就是这样：你不给别人活路，最终将会自断生路;你给别人机会，其实也等于给自己机会。

《礼记》中说：“君子贵人贱己，先人而后己。”我希望同学们能做到先人后己，同时又能：送人玫瑰，手有余香。
