每天早晨，当我们从床上爬起时，崭新的一天就开始了。用自来水洗漱完毕，吃过高压锅煮出的饭，坐电梯下楼，乘汽车去上学，这一切现代化的生活，都是科学带给我们的。而科学，又是无数科学家不断探索、实践出来的。我对科学家的事迹十分感兴趣，在这个寒假，我读了一本书——《科学家故事一百个》。

书中介绍了一百多位科学家生动有趣的故事，他们既有古代科学家，也有近现代科学家；既有中国的科学家，也有外国科学家；所涉及的科学领域也很广泛，包括天文学、物理学、化学、医学、生物学等等学科。但是我发现这些科学家有着很多相似的优秀品格。

科学家是勤奋的，惜时如金。就像著名的物理学家居里夫人，在她读大学期间，每天晚上都到图书馆看书直到深夜。当她有了女儿，她几乎没有时间照料孩子，只能一边啃着干面包，一边抱着女儿在实验室里喂奶。居里夫人兼做着科学家、工人和母亲的工作。在如此艰苦的条件下，居里夫人取得了伟大的成就。她一生中获得过两次诺贝尔奖，被誉为“镭的母亲”，她生命中的每一天，几乎都是在工作中度过的，直到她临死前，还在做科学实验，人们劝她休息，她却说：“我的生活是不能离开实验室的。”

科学家是不屈不挠，勇于进取的。美国科学家爱迪生，被誉为“发明大王”，他的一生有1000多项发明，电灯、电话机、发电机、电动机……这些了不起的发明直到现在仍然影响着我们的生活。爱迪生每发明一件东西，都经历了艰苦的过程，他差不多花费了2年的时间发明电灯，先后试验了1600多种材料，最后才选定了合适的灯丝。

科学家是勇敢而坚定的，为了捍卫真理不惜牺牲自己。哥白尼、布鲁诺、伽利略、塞尔维特等许多科学家，因为尊重科学事实，敢于向传统理论挑战，而受到了教会的迫害。面对死亡的威胁，科学家们毫不动摇，许多人为科学付出了生命的代价。但真理是不朽的，真理最终战胜了强权。

科学家们是伟大的，如果没有这些了不起的科学家，我们今天可能还生活在愚昧无知之中，而不会有幸福的生活。我们要学习科学家们的精神，让世界变得更加美好！

Today, as the development of the medical, people can slow down their aging. As for the celebrities, they use the developed technology to keep young, seeing their unchangeable faces in the screen for so many years, the audience also want to imitate the celebrity, they believe that by using the developed technology, they can keep young all the time. While in my opinion, the way to keep young is to hold a young heart, some people look young outside, but in their hearts, they are old enough and refuse to keep pace with the time. While for another group, even they have wrinkles, they are curious about all the things and are willing to change. My grandpa is old, but he knows all the fashionable things, sometimes I have to ask him for the new things. The young heart is the way to keep young forever.

今天，随着医疗的发展，人们能够延缓衰老。对于名人来讲，他们使用高科技来保持年轻，看到他们常年在屏幕上保持不变的容颜，观众也想要模仿名人，他们相信通过使用高科技就能一直保持年轻。然而在我看来，保持年轻的方法就是拥有一颗年轻的心，一些人表面看起来年轻，但是在他们的心里，他们足够的老，并且拒绝去与时俱进。对于另外一些人来讲，虽然他们有皱纹，但是他们对一切都保持好奇，并且愿意去改变。我的爷爷年纪大，但是他对一切时尚的东西都了如指掌，有时候我不得不问他关于新的事物。年轻的心是永葆青春的方法。
