暑假里，我看了许多书，其中《成语故事》这一本书深深地吸引着我，它是由一个个典故组成的，每一个成语都有一个精彩的小故事。印象比较深的有《迷途知返》、《守株待兔》……

《迷途知返》这个故事讲的是：在东汉末年，曹操和袁绍联合攻打袁术，袁术败走扬州割据一方。这时汉朝已将土崩瓦解，袁术看到这种形势欲乘机称帝，于是他极力拉拢好友陈珪，然而陈珪反对袁术称帝，并劝他说：迷了路只要知道返回还可以避免灾祸，但是袁术不听劝告，最终自食恶果。这个故事告诉我们犯了错误要及时改正，这样才能不犯更大的错误。

《守株待兔》这个故事讲的是一个种庄稼的人看见了一只兔子在树桩上撞死了，他轻而易举地得到了一只兔子。(读后感)然后他就每天在树桩旁边等，庄稼也不管了。最后兔子没再出现，禾苗也都枯萎了，他也饿死了。这个故事告诉我们做人不能好吃懒做，要靠自己的劳动，不能坐等天下掉馅饼，一定要通过自己的努力才会有收获。

与此同时，我也很佩服先人的聪明才智，能够想出这么多典故来。读完这本书之后我受益良多。

寒假里，我在《洋葱头历险记》中认识了一个新人物：洋葱头。

让我先来给大家讲一讲这个故事吧：在一个蔬菜王国里，洋葱头的爸爸不小心踩了柠檬王一脚，就被关进了监狱。洋葱头在探监时，老洋葱告诉他：“监狱里关满了正直的人，柠檬王让强盗、杀人犯待在他的宫殿里，却叫好人来坐牢。”洋葱头听了，就下定决心当好人，还要把大伙儿全都救出来。

在营救过程中，洋葱头好几次都进了监狱，但在小樱桃、小红萝卜等朋友的帮助下，他一次又一次逃离了柠檬王的魔爪。洋葱头聪明、勇敢、团结，他和伙伴们一起努力，终于把柠檬王给消灭了。所有的“犯人”都出了监狱，村民们都过上幸福的生活，坏蛋都得到了应有的下场。

从这个故事中，我知道了胜利是来之不易的，它是由坚持、恒心、毅力所组成的。就像洋葱头遇到了不少困难，但是最终取得了胜利，那就是坚持的力量。如果我们能把这种力量用在对待生活及学习中的困难，那就没有什么能难倒我们的啦！

I like holidays because I have enough time to relax. Last year, my

father and I went to Singapore by plane, there is a beautiful place, the four

seasons pleasant climate, there are many Chinese immigrants in Singapore, and

there are lots of Chinese food, like noodles, dumplings, rice, very delicious,

we shopping there, watching the scenery, and taste a lot of delicious food. It

我喜欢假期，因为我有足够的时间去放松。去年，我和爸爸坐飞机去了新加坡，那儿是个美丽的地方，四季气候宜人，新加坡有许多中国移民，而且那里有许多中国食物，比如面条，饺子，米饭，非常美味，我们在那里购物，观赏了美景，并且品尝了许多美味的食物。这真是一个令人愉快的假期。

最近，我看了《雷锋的故事》，深受感动。1940年12月18日，雷锋出生在湖南望城县安庆乡(现雷锋乡)简家塘一户贫苦农民家里。1947年秋，他的父母、兄弟相继死去，年仅七岁的雷锋成了孤儿。一个没娘没爹的孩子是多么可怜。而我们，从出生开始被父母捧在掌心，衣来伸手，饭来张口。没吃过一点苦，比起雷锋我们太幸福了。我以后再也不能为小事而生气。

有一次，雷锋帮助工地的人推砖，被工地女广播员拦住了。她问：“请问您叫什么名字？是哪个部队的？”问了半天，雷锋才逼得说出了自己的名字。是啊，做好事应该是不留名的。而我们做一点儿小事，就上电视登报纸，恨不得让全国人民都知道。我们与雷锋相比，真是天壤之别啊！

1962年8月15日上午十时，雷锋在指挥倒车时，被刮倒的一根木杆打在头部而负重伤，送到望花区西部医院抢救，但还没有活过来，于1962年8月15日12时零五分不幸牺牲。年仅22岁。雷锋就这样永远的离开了我们，老天爷真不公平，砸谁不行，偏偏就砸在了为祖国贡献一生的雷锋头上。我看到这里不禁泪如雨下。

如今，仍然有许多“雷锋”在助人为乐，我们要继承雷锋精神，发扬雷锋精神。

When people start to set the goal, they will think about the result immediately, of course they want to get the best result. If people can predict the result, most of them will give up by knowing the unsuccessful ending. It seems that if the result is bad, what people work for is meaningless. Well, in my opinion, the process of fighting for the goal is much more important than the result. When we fight for our goal, we will do our best and try to improve ourselves, even we fail in the end, but when we look back at the beginning, we can find that we are no longer the childish ones, we have grown up and become mature. What’s more, on the process of fighting, we get close to success, as the saying that fail is the mother of success. So don’t treat the result so serious, just enjoy the process.

当人们开始定目标，他们会立刻想到结果，当然他们想要得到最好的结果。如果人们能够预知结果，他们大部分人会因为知道失败的结果而不去尝试。似乎如果结果是坏的，人们所做的努力就会没有意义。然而，在我看来，为目标而奋斗的过程比结果重要得多。当我们为了目标而奋斗的时候，会努力做到最好，尝试提高自己，即使最终失败，但是在我们回望开始的时候，就会发现我们不再是那个天真的自己，我们已经长大，变得成熟。而且，在奋斗的过程中，我们离成功也近了一步，正如有句话叫失败是成功之母。因此不要把结果看得那么严重，享受过程就好。

我不喜欢学成语，因为成语都是四个字，也不好理解。妈妈为此总生我气。

几天前，妈妈给我买了一本《成语故事》书，妈妈与你一起阅读此书，而且非常肯定的告诉我，你肯定会非常喜欢此书的，喜欢学成语的。今天妈妈抓我一起阅读《成语故事》书，翻开书妈妈给我一边读成语一边讲成语的故事，我发现里面有许多我没学过的成语和没有看过的故事。

让我难忘的是《专心致志》这一篇讲的是：两个人拜著名棋手弈秋为师，学棋的时候，认真地听讲，乙却心不在焉。结果，甲的棋艺越来越高，乙的棋艺还是一样。

弈秋语重声长地对两个学生说：“下棋如果不专心致志，也是学不好的！”告诉我们做事要专心致至。

还有的故事是《愚公移山》的内容是：愚公家门前有两大座山挡着路，他决心把山平掉，另一个“聪明”的智叟笑他太傻，认为不能。愚公说：“我死了有儿子，儿子死了还有孙子，子子孙孙无穷无尽的，两座山终究会凿平。”后因感动天帝，所以天帝命大力神的两个儿子搬走两座山。比喻只要有毅力就可以成功。

还有许许多多精彩的故事……

没想到，我真的喜欢上了成语，原来每个成语都有一个精彩的世界啊！
