After a visit to his strange landlord, a newcomer to the area desires to know the history of the family--which he receives from Nelly Deans, a servant who introduces us to the Earnshaw family who once resided in the house known as Wuthering Heights. It was once a cheerful place, but Old Earnshaw adopted a "Gipsy" child who he named Heathcliff. And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all.

Wuthering Heights is a bit difficult to "get into;" the opening chapters are so dark in their portrait of the end result of this obsessive love that they are somewhat off-putting. But they feed into the flow of the work in a remarkable way, setting the stage for one of the most remarkable structures in all of literature, a story that circles upon itself in a series of repetitions as it plays out across two generations. Catherine and Heathcliff are equally remarkable, both vicious and cruel, and yet never able to shed their impossible love no matter how brutally one may wound the other.

As the novel coils further into alcoholism, seduction, and one of the most elaborately imagined plans of revenge it gathers into a ghostly tone: Heathcliff, driven to madness by a woman who is not there but who seems reflected in every part of his world--dragging her corpse from the grave, hearing her calling to him from the moors, escalating his brutality not for the sake of brutality but so that her memory will never fade, so that she may never leave his mind until death itself. Yes, this is madness, insanity, and there is no peace this side of the grave or even beyond.

哈哈哈，我终于等到了圣诞节了，在今天，我要把我的五角星给花光。

上课了，老师把本子发给了我们，我不知为了等今天等了多少天，而且，诚信超市在今天打折，我算了一遍又一遍，总共算了4遍，可是我觉的可以了，然后我们便把自己的分报了出来，我的是228个五角星，到了后来，老师祝我们节日快乐，又给我们加了250个五角星，当大家听到这个消息后，一齐欢呼起来。

突然，一个男老师走过来说：大班已经买好了，应该我们去买了，我们立马冲了过去，只有20分钟，所以我们要争分夺秒，我立马冲进了诚信超市，哈哈，怎么没有了，我最想买的马桶没了，肯定被大班拿走了，好悲哀啊，我也没什么好买了。突然，我又看到了很多好玩的东西，最后我买了一支笔，一个手扣和一个蜘蛛侠。

买了心爱的东西，我便回了教室，玩了起来。

什么是故事？

“故事就是人生的一种隐喻、一种发生的可能性，得让读者喜欢人物、情节，或者对故事整体有很深刻的印象。故事里面，人物常常得有特别的想法、勇敢的行动，遇上有趣的人物，也得有出人意表的结果。”

不得不说这个总结太棒了。故事的产生是认为读者。整个故事中的幻想世界因为有读者这一存在而逐渐壮大，因为读者喜欢于是有更多的建造者加入这一个行列，在这个幻想世界的任意角落里面建筑着不同风格的建筑与装饰。建造者不一定需要什么高学历，也不需要是语言学家，也许最动人的故事往往是从街头流浪的人口中讲出来的故事。因为我们没有经历过那些事情，于是对它们产生了好奇，因为好奇所以想要去了解，而故事也就就此产生。

它或许包含了信息，也包含了一定的趣味性，读者可以从中获取自己想要的东西，但是故事永远脱离不了“有趣”二字。没有有趣的内容的故事是会没有读者的，只有作者一人看得见的建筑不能称为“建筑”，它是没有实体的。只有有趣的故事才会吸引更多的读者，地基才会更加牢固，它在幻想大陆上的存在时间才会更久。

故事，不得不说，很多时候就像泡沫一样，绚烂过后就消散了。很多时候故事是从一些人口中说出，又经过读者之口逐渐流传，但是那始终不是相同的故事。每个人的经历不同，所叙述的角度也就有些微的不同，又因为每个人的兴趣不一致，导致叙述的重点也就各不相同。或许同一个故事，他讲出的你喜欢，换了一个人你只觉得乏味。相声貌似也有相似的含义在，不同人讲同一个包袱的效果是不一样的。

那么“有趣”如何定义？或许可以用碗和碗里的水举例。但是这只是我突然想出来的一个带有玩笑性质的例子，或许并不准确。生活，大概就像记忆中最简单的大白瓷碗，镶着蓝色的边缘，简单朴素，寻常可见，装的是不多不少恰恰半碗水——中庸之道，不多不少。水的来源或许是泉也或许是海，还可能是水管里面的自来水。但是无论如何，都是一碗水。不同人自出生起就拥有这个碗了，水也是，随着人生经历的增多，逐渐积累，最终稳定到一半的程度。但是或许修行者可以从自己的那一碗水里面悟出什么，但是更多人，随着时间的消逝，渐渐只会对自己的那一碗失去兴趣，转而去看其他人的碗，或者寻找另一种寄托——故事。在故事里面，或许每一个人的碗都是不一样的形态，出现了青花瓷的碗，出现了河姆渡风格的陶瓷碗，或许还有玻璃碗……内容物也是，或许还出现了橙汁，汽水，甚至是另一种物质的液体，或许根本就已经脱离了液体的范畴。但正是这些区别让人着迷。我们，读者，就像是曾经小时候的我们，看着那一只只不同的碗，猜测塑造者的经历，然后再研究研究里面的内容物，分析它们的构成。这是一件很有趣的事情，多少人为之着迷。而且这些的搭配是无穷无尽的，读者不会因为千篇一律而无聊。这就是上述里面的特殊设定，故事的人物有那么一些异于常人的特质，比如他们的性格，他们的行为，他们的经历，他们的一些特质。还有一些，另辟蹊径，碗还是那只大白瓷碗，镶着蓝色的边缘，水还是普普通通透明无色的水，但是悄悄做出了些许的改变。比如水的分量少了那么几许，甚至变成了空碗，或者水多了那么几分，甚至溢出。而这些在没有经历过的我们看来也是十分有趣的。

还有另一类，可以从另一个角度去描述，就是“技巧”。它或许没有什么新奇的设定，碗是一样的，水也是，但是被施上“技巧”这一魔法后的这一只碗却能令人着迷。如果用一种东西来比喻技巧的话，就是风，或许还有锤子。锤子用于塑造碗，而风用于塑造水。想必大家都有过曾经看流水上的波纹着迷的时刻，甚至有人专门扔石子到安静的湖面上，只为看到那一圈圈泛起的涟漪。而这，就是技巧的作用了。因为技巧，因为风等等的因素，那水富有了生机，变化莫测，让人着迷，想要试图研究它们的纹理，也就越发陷入了故事之中。锤子大抵上同理，改变了碗的形状，但是碗仍然还是碗。

还有一种我认为有趣的变化——换一种视角。就是故事的叙述角度。正常人们是从上帝角度，全知全能地观看这些故事，但是也有那么一些沙盒故事，我们作为其中的一部分，不断完善着故事。第一人称第二人称的变化让我们带入那些角色，或许从水里或许从天上，不同视角看这个世界，有趣极了。这个时候不得不提一下游戏，有些文字游戏可以根据玩家的选择修改故事线，尽管所有世界线都是预先设定好的，但是因为玩家“选择”的参与，参与感变得很强，让玩家有一种“这故事有我的一部分”这样的感觉，也是一种别的叙述手法了。还有一个故事，《心动文学社》，它的人物从故事里面跳脱出来，直接和读者对话，探讨故事中的人生是否真实存在等等……它新颖的手法，令人眼前一亮。

那些技巧，书中也做了一些介绍，那么就大致列举一下。

“必备的五个情节阶段英国作家克里斯托弗·布克（Christopher Booker）在《七个基本情 节》（The SevenBasic Plots）一书里，对故事提出了一种五段式情节进展结构，很有参考价值。一、AnticipationStage（期待阶段），初步介绍人物、背景、矛盾冲突的发生。二、Dream Stage（幻象阶段），事情进展顺利，好像都可以解决，其实只是幻象。三、Frustration Stage（受挫阶段），正面看到真正的大险阻，前一阶段的幻象破灭。四、Nightmare Stage（噩梦阶段），故事进入高潮，一切逐渐又看似绝望。五、Resolution（决定性结局），故事中的英雄克服险阻，通常是同时克服了个人内心的弱点或困扰。”

“六种人格发展进程是这样形容的：一、天真者（Innocent）：内心单纯地相信世间的正义和美善。二、孤儿（Orphan）：可以说是天真者受挫之后的状态，内心被世间的黑暗面笼罩着。三、流浪者（Wanderer）：处于一种矛盾心态，未能解脱之下，茫然寻觅，探索周围。四、战士（Warrior）：找到自己的奋斗方向，努力前进。五、殉道者（Martyr）：为了完成更高阶段的目标，不惜牺牲个人的喜恶和当初最珍惜的东西，甚至生命。六、魔法师（Magician）：掌握了改变现实、超越常人的能力。”

从某种意义上解释，技巧是从人们的经验中抽脱出来，分析无数种可能，最后得出了这些“有趣”故事的一些共同点。是的，这些技巧或许不能把所有故事变成“有趣的故事”，但是技巧可以把故事的有趣性提高这一点是不需要质疑的。

但是技巧并不是绝对。当所有人都拥有了技巧之后，故事的世界又会如何？比如语言的一种演变，当原来的词义减弱的时候，我们不得不发明出新的词汇来表达原本该词的意义——比如“哈”的“通货膨胀”。原本“哈哈”就可以表达内心的欢喜，而现在用“哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈”等等来表示。那么，同理，当这些技巧成为了一种标准，一种小孩都会的浅显知识——就像学生用的三段式作文一样，这些技巧还能够称为“技巧”吗？这些“技巧”的意义仍然在保留吗？

这个时候我还想说一下“文风”这种东西。就像画画有画风一样，大多人的故事文风是不一样的。他成形于人们的生活，是一种类似印记的东西，方便人们辨别。比如一些国家的文字风格是不一样的，日本文学或许因为语言的原因，文字也行云流水，就像顺着鹅卵石流淌的小溪一样，读起来很舒服，很流畅。虽然不能排除翻译的缘故在，但是这些故事读起来的感觉是的确不一样的。文风的作用也就在于此了，它是一个作者的证明，虽然有时会随着故事的需要而做出适当改变。可是文风也不是不可以改变的。比如当一个人不断模仿另一个人文风的时候，文风是可以复制的；当一个人的生活经验变得完全不一样的时候，他的文风也会做出适当的调整。这种语言风格或许也是一种技巧。

书中到也阐明了关于技巧的讨论——

“讲故事本身就是一种行为，任何行为都有动机和目的，讲故事本身是一种高技巧的叙述，背后的动机和信息必须清晰明显，而非零零碎碎的事件堆砌。”

也就是说，因为讲故事这件事情而产生了各种技巧，而这些技巧是为了故事服务，是为了让故事更加的生动有趣，更加贴切表达出自己内心想要表达的事情。只有出现了故事，技巧才会相对的产生。比如只有有了碗和水，风和锤子才能发挥相应的作用。但是如果失去了讲故事的意义，那么碗和水只是两种物质罢了，在人们看来是什么意思都没有的，只觉得莫名其妙罢了。

讲故事是一门很深的学问，但是讲故事本身是一个很有趣的行为。

所以，不如现在就来讲一个故事吧。

一只天鹅蛋在鸭群中破壳了，但因为这只小天鹅长得很丑，不但没有被鸭群接受，挨啄、被排挤、被讪笑，而且在鸡群中也是这样。他因此觉得很自卑，因为自己长得那么丑陋，成了全体鸡鸭的嘲笑对象，连他的亲人们也排挤他。

这本书的每个故事都深深吸引着我，都使我百看不厌，其中我最喜欢一个小故事，它就是《丑小鸭》，这篇童话讲的是丑小鸭——它一生下来，因为长得丑，大人和其它小动物都不喜欢它。寒冷的冬天，它在森林里受尽折磨，最后，它靠自己的努力，终于飞了起来。变成了一只美丽的、在蓝天上自由翱翔的天鹅!

丑小鸭变成天鹅，靠的正是自己的努力。

《丑小鸭》这个故事，使我明白了一个道理：无论做什么事情，不要怕自己笨，只要用心去学去做，就一定会成功的，爸爸、妈妈、老师，请放手让我去做每一件事情吧!我自信一定会像丑小鸭一样，靠着自己的努力“飞起来”的。

我常常梦想着美好的未来，如果我长大当了医生，我就要发明一种药，使病人吃了之后，药到病除;我长大了还要发明一种衣服，人们穿上就会轻轻地飞起来;也许我长大了还要发明一支笔，笔上有灯，有音乐，不但晚上写字方便了，还能边写边听音乐;梦想有一天来到月球上去塑造一个和天堂一样美丽的世外桃源，那样，人们就又有一个美丽的家园了。而且，“天堂”还有一个奇特的功能，只要是习惯不好的人，“天堂”都不会让他(她)进去的。

无论我将来要干什么，都要通过“努力”才能做到。我相信，经过我们的努力，祖国一定会在我们这一代的手里高高地“飞起来。”每个人都会有一份属于自己的梦想，只要他们学会树立生活目标，在自信、拼搏中，他们会真正的认识到自己原来也可以变成“白天鹅”，也可以像丑小鸭一样实现心中的梦想。同时“丑小鸭”也比喻不被关注的小孩子或年轻人，有时也指刚刚出现、不为人注意的事物。
