今天早上醒来的时候我感到很不舒服，我起床之后一直打喷嚏，于是我意识到我感冒了。于是我就去我家附近的诊所看医生，医生给我开了一些感冒药，并且嘱咐我多喝热水。我吃了药之后就睡了个好觉。现在感觉好多了，我希望我快点好起来。

一本好的历史书就像一面镜子，《人类的故事》便是其中之一。作者房龙从人类的起源讲述到每一个历史时期。它与一般的历史书不同，读起来就像小说一样有趣，令我饶有兴致地看完了。

房龙从远古时候开始讲起，描述埃及和美索不达米亚文明的起源，讲述希腊与罗马时代的辉煌，沿着宗教兴起的线索讲述到中世纪社会的发展和演变，从城市的兴起、文艺复兴、讲述到世界性的变革和各国的革命。

古埃及一直给我一种神秘的感觉。他们的木乃伊、法老和金字塔让我觉得十分不可思议。其实这只是他们文化的一小部分。书中有这样一段描述：“从古埃及人的身上，我们学到了很多新鲜东西，比如农业灌溉的方法，建造神庙的技巧，发明的日历。他们建造的神庙外观精美，被视为现代教堂的最初范本，而他们发明的日历非常准确，稍作修改后一直到今天仍在应用。最重要的是，他们创造了文字，使我们保存语言成为可能。”我不得不佩服古埃及人的智慧，他们对于人类历史的影响一直延续到今天。

从尼罗河到爱琴海，房龙又用他有魔力的笔，把我带到欧洲大陆。古希腊人渐渐学会了使自己强大的本领，却招徕了与波斯人的战争。又过了几个世纪罗马从一个小村庄变成了强大的罗马帝国，另一种文明就此诞生。许许多多的战争成就了一个又一个传奇的故事。

书中另一个吸引我的地方是，它能让我渐渐地产生思考。例如房龙在介绍古希腊时，他先介绍古希腊文明的起源，再介绍古希腊的政治制度。他提到古希腊人的“适度”原则，再引出为什么古代只有古希腊人这独一无二的民族具备这种质素这个问题，然后介绍古希腊人的生活状态与他们严厉的教育。顺着这样的思路与线索，我自然而然地不再是单纯地看那些生动的历史故事。

到了中世纪，人类文明又向前跨了一大步，达到了无法超越的高度，留下的是那个时代思想超越时空的产物，让我由衷的赞叹。而后随着自由、平等、民主的思想深入人心，历史发展到了新的时期。但在工业革命后，世界发生了翻天覆地的变化。房龙说：“这是一个卑鄙无耻的弱智时代，人类也做过一大堆蠢事。”从古至今，人类学会了思考，创造了文明，却也留下了许多遗憾。战争就像凶猛的野兽，毁坏许许多多人美丽的家园；极端恐怖主义就像无形的恶魔，操纵着人性最黑暗的一面；环境污染就像病变的癌细胞，侵害着地球母亲的健康。

唐太宗曾说过：“以史为鉴可以知兴替，以铜为鉴可以正衣冠，以人为鉴可以明得失。”了解人类过去的故事，既是了解自己，也是一个探求的过程。那一个个历史真相的背后，隐藏着大量的真理与智慧。我们所需要做的，就是以此不断地改变并提升自我。毕竟人类未来的故事，是为我们所掌握的。

乡村真美。此时正值夏季，田里的小麦都呈现金黄色而燕麦依然青绿。干草被堆放在低洼的草地上，广阔的树林围绕着

田野和草地，树林的中央有多处深邃的湖泊，在阳光最充足的地方矗立着一栋老旧的大宅邸。这栋宅邸被一条深长的壕沟所包围，茂盛的
