这本书是由八十八个故事组成的，每个故事都包含着一个哲理，让我们感动，给我们启迪。其中我最喜欢的一篇是《每天给自己一个希望》这篇文章，写的是有一位医生，素以医术高明享誉医学界。但不幸的是，在某一天，他被诊断出患有癌症，这对他不外乎是当头一棒。他曾经一度情绪低落，但后来他坦然接受事实，就这样他平安的度过了几个年头，而且心态也变得宽容，平静。有人问他，他为什么能活这么久，他说，是希望，几乎每天早晨，他都给自己一个希望，希望能多救治一个病人。这位医生不但医术高明而且做人的境界也很高。是啊，每天给自己一个希望，哪怕这个希望小得不能再小，每天给自己一个希望，我们将获得生气勃勃，激情澎湃。每天给自己一个希望，就是给自己目标和信心。希望是黑暗中的一片绿洲，让人重燃信念，信心十足，重获光明！

我读了《成语故事》，它让我受益匪浅。

这本书的成语共有82个，它是按第一个字的音序归类的。有的成语比较好理解，比如胸有成竹，有的成语则需要探明出处才能理解其中的奥妙，比如近水楼台，有的甚至失去原来的意义，比如朝三暮四。

其中我最喜欢的一个成语是“八仙过海”。这个故事讲的是八个神仙过东海去参加蟠桃盛会。八个神仙有的把葫芦变成一叶扁舟，有的把花篮当船，其他几位神仙也把自己的宝物投入大海，最有趣的要算张果老，他从一只小箱子里拿出一只纸驴，吹了口仙气，它就变成了一只活蹦乱跳的小毛驴了，他倒着骑在驴背上渡海。在渡海的过程中，他们各显神通，最终都顺利地渡过了东海。这个成语的意思是比喻各自显示自己的能力和本领。

成语是古代人民智慧的结晶，它是历史长河中积淀下来的文化符号。读完这本成语故事，我说话的时候就会用到我读过的这些成语，妈妈经常会说我：“你还挺会用词的。”写文章的时候，我也会用到这些成语，我的文章读起来朗朗上口，老师也夸我的作文水平提高了，文章词句很生动。这就是我读《成语故事》这本书的收获。希望大家也抽空多学成语，这样就能大大提高我们的口头表达能力和写作能力。

还有，在“自食其果”中：“这是丘浚手里正好拿着一根拐杖，一气之下，就在和尚头上重重地敲打了几下，说道：‘照你这么说，打你就是爱你，不打你倒是不爱你了，所以我只好打你了，请你原谅吧！’”这段话中的每一个字都充分体现出了那和尚的自作自受。

再来便是故事下方的来源和释义了。有些类似于词典中的来源，是古文，如果你对古文兴趣的话，能够多留意一下这部分。释义则是整个故事的精华，也就是成语的意思。这一处的资料十分容易让人读懂，并且捉住了整个成语的中心思想。不至于跟字典似的，让人不愿意看，即使看了也不必须完全明白。

总而言之，《成语故事》是小学生学习和记成语的好帮手，他从某种好处上来说，已经不能算是一本书了，它是我们小学生在学习上的一位亲密战友，若是没了它，学习成语便成了一件极其枯燥的事情。在那里，请大家允许我说一句话：成语故事的确是一本好书，如果你是小学生的话，那么绝对值得你一看！喜不喜欢，你看了以后便明白了。
