在我的家乡有许多风俗习惯如：腊八节吃腊八粥，元宵节要吃汤圆，除夕要挂灯笼、放鞭炮、贴春联、贴福字，中秋节要吃月饼……当然还有很多，但我最喜喜欢的是端午节。

端午节一般分为三个部分，一个是包棕子，一个是吃棕子，还有一个是观看赛龙舟。

在端午节这一天，人们准备玉米叶、糯米、蜜枣、红豆沙、线。首先把糯米和玉米叶清洗干净，然后分别放入两个干净的盆中，人们又准备了一个勺子为的是在包粽子的时候盛糯米和红豆沙更方便卫生一些。

所有的材料已经准备齐全了，人们开始包棕子，先把玉米叶弄出一个像甜筒一样的形状然后再向“甜筒”中放入少许糯米，然后放入蜜枣、红豆沙(作为它的夹层)。放好以后再放一些糯米，把放好的馅料盖住，用多余部分的玉米叶封口，封好以后用线绕封好的三角玉米叶围上几圈，再打个结，第一个粽子就做好了?心灵手巧的人们手不停的动着，发出有节奏的声音，不一会棕子就全做好了。

人们把已经包好的棕子放入了锅中，盖上了锅盖，准备蒸棕子。

现在人们唯一想做的事情就是观看一年一度的赛龙舟，人们簇拥在一起，脸上写满了紧张。选手们个个神彩飞扬，身强力壮，当枪声响起的时候场面更是热闹的不得了。龙舟上的鼓手鼓足了劲双手拿着鼓锤有节奏的打着鼓为队友加油，划舟选手真叫一个一鼓作气，配合的十分默气，突然随着现场一阵接一阵的掌声中冠军诞生了，现场随即爆发出了一阵雷鸣般的掌声。正好，这时棕子也好了，人们美滋滋地品尝着今天的成果。

In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. while it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. high should be allowed more time for play. plying is not wasting time, as some think. it gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. which tends to be stifled by too much study.

Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. i do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. i do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.

After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. 一大早，我们学校七年级新生都换上了军训时穿的迷彩服，远远望去，就如同一幅巨大的油画。我当然也在其中，虽然表面看来，我十分淡定，但是只有我自己知道内心是如此的汹涌澎湃。我好像看到了一只独木船正在海面静静地向前航行，忽然，刮起了大风，巨大的海浪一个接着一个，如同成群的野兽，向独木船奔去。

想起哥哥说过的话，“你要小心点，我们军训的时候，教官十分严厉，动作稍微做得不到位，就要被罚！”想得正出神，老师便来带我们下楼参加典礼。我可以明显感觉到我的心脏里住着一头小鹿，它胡乱地撞着我的胸口，就差要跳出来了！

带领我们的是一位浓眉大眼的教官，眉宇间夹着一个深深的“川”字。他一脸严肃，在训练的时候，我没看到他脸上有过一丝笑容，眼睛睁得大大的，好似两个铜铃，怪可怕的。教官一本正经的模样使我胆怯起来，同时打起了十二万分的精神。

教官在教我们每一个动作前都会做一遍给我们看，那炯炯有神的眼睛，那干脆利落的动作，那挺拔如松的站姿，我能想到的只有一个字，那就是——帅！

刚开始我们做的动作一点儿都不整齐，经过教官一次又一次的纠正，我们一次又一次的努力，总算能像教官一样——站如杨树，蹲如雕塑。一个个挺拔的身影，洪亮的口号声久久回荡在篮球场上，这分明就是一个个军人在接受着人民的检阅啊！

一天的训练就在这热烈的气氛中结束了，每个人的脸上虽然都显得有些疲倦，但从一双双明亮的眼睛中，分明可以看出那巨大的成就感——那种无法言语的感觉！

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten thousand Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it s more than 6 000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. During the Warring States Period, more walls were put up to defend the borders of the different kingdoms. It was during the Qin Dynasty that the kingdom of Qin united the dif ferent parts into one empire. To keep the enemy out of his empire, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up. Thus, the Great Wall came into being.

Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We use it to cook, make electricity, and put out fires and so on. We use millions of liters of water every day.

Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on which we line, and keep the water clean.
