This morning,as we all know,this is a special day___our Chinese national festival.so we go out of home, and began to preper for somthing for the day.

端午节到了，家家户户粽叶飘香，而且我是最喜欢吃粽子的，看到家里包了那么多的粽子，所以我更加开心了。在吃粽子是爸爸告诉我端午节的来历和为什么吃粽子的原因。端午节是为了纪念我国古代伟大的爱国主义诗人屈原，因为屈原是在农历5月5日投河死的，所以后人为了纪念屈原就把农历5月5日这一天就作为纪念日，称作端午节。因为屈原是投河死的，当时的人们怕河里的鱼虾吃屈原的尸体，所以包了好多粽子扔到河里给鱼虾吃，久而久之人们慢慢地就把粽子给自己吃了。

又到了一年一度的端午节了，家家户户粽叶飘香，门口和灶上都插上了艾草用来驱虫和辟邪。端午节除了吃粽子以外还有赛龙舟，挂艾草，喝雄黄酒等习俗。但现在赛龙舟在我们这边已经很少看到了，但今年运气非常好，全国龙舟大赛就在无锡江阴举行，没有看过赛龙舟的可以去大饱眼福了。

端午节放假三天，我和爸爸妈妈去浙江的千岛湖风景区游玩，湖水是碧绿的，湖中有一些大大小小的岛，据说超过了1000个，我看到很多大游船和小游艇，最让我开心的是坐缆车到了一座岛的最高处，在那能看到千岛湖最美的景色，最刺激的是我还上了蛇岛，和蟒蛇拥抱合影。

今年的端午节可热闹了!端午节的前一天，我一直到八点多才睡着。到了端午节的那一天，我一醒来就听见妈妈的大嗓门：“你这个小懒虫，快起来看龙舟吧!要是晚了可就太可惜了。”我快速地起了床，去看赛龙舟。到了那，那就已经是人山人海了。我和妈妈就像两条小泥鳅，好不容易挤到了最前面。只见红、绿队不分上下，一下子在前，又一下在后。经过了一场“战争”后，两条龙舟竟然同时到达了终点。后来妈妈还给我买了香包。

回到家，我就闻到了粽子的香味。今天我和妈妈一起吃了一个大大的粽子。今年的端午节真是令人难忘啊!

城五月初五是端午节，每年这个时候，很多地方的老百姓都会用包粽子来纪念伟大的爱国主义诗人屈原，我会在爸爸妈妈的带领下去姥姥家，姥姥、姥爷早早的准备好了江米和大枣、粽叶来包粽子，并在煮粽子的时候煮上几个鸡蛋，用来给我和弟弟妹妹吃。在吃粽子的时候，我就问姥姥，为什么人们要在端午节这天吃粽子，门上要插艾草，这时候姥姥就会把弟弟妹妹叫到一起，讲有关屈原投江的故事。

屈原是我国春秋战国楚怀王统治时的贵族，并担任大臣，他力主联齐抗秦，遭到其它被收买贵族和楚怀王之后的打击报复，被免去职务，并被流放，在流浪期间，写下了忧国忧民的《离骚》等著名不朽诗篇，在秦国攻破楚国国都，他看自己的祖国被侵略，心如刀割。在五月五日这一天，抱石投汩罗江自尽，以自己的生命诠释了一曲壮丽的爱国主义乐章。

屈原死后，老百姓哀痛异常，纷纷去汩罗江边凭吊屈原，并拿出准备好的饭团和鸡蛋丢进江里想让鱼虾吃饱，不用去伤害屈原的身体，慢慢就演变成吃粽子、鸡蛋等习俗，用来纪念爱国主义诗人屈原。

姥姥给我们讲完故事后，问我和弟弟有什么想的说的吗?我发表了自己心中感想，说：屈原是我们应该记住并不能遗忘的爱国主义诗人。

这时候，爸爸把煮好的粽子放在桌子上，叫我们来吃，我吃着又香又甜的粽子，想着姥姥讲的动人的故事，心情久久不能平静。对我来说：古人的爱国主义精神会让我深爱教育并激励我将来好好规划人生轨迹，树立正确的人生理想，不能辜负姥姥讲故事的深刻涵义。
