As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. 又是一年五月五，全国各地的人民都在热烈庆祝端午节。要问端午节给我留下最深的印象是什么?那便是每年的这个时候，妈妈都会在家里做很多香甜的粽子。看妈妈包粽子，那可真叫一种享受。只见她左手拿起一片粽叶，迅速地卷成漏斗状，右手抓一把泡好的糯米塞进粽叶，再用粽叶紧紧裹住糯米，最后用线把粽子固定扎紧。不大一会儿功夫，碧绿的粽叶、雪白的糯米，摇身一变就成了一个饱满的粽子。我望着排成一排的粽子，真是“口水流下三千尺”。接下来便是煮粽子了，开水咕嘟咕嘟冒泡后，把粽子下锅煮一个小时左右就可以吃了。粽子出锅之后，剥开一层又一层的粽叶，露出一角棕色的糯米，咬上一口，淡淡的粽香便在嘴里漾开。

以前我只知道端午节要吃粽子，却不知道其中的缘由。今年的端午节，我总算明白了。妈妈告诉我，传说端午节是为了纪念战国时期的楚国诗人屈原。屈原忧国忧民，深受人民爱戴。但却遭人陷害被赶出都城，流放在外。他在流放期间还是创作了很多不朽的诗篇，比如《离骚》、《天问》、《九歌》等等。后来，秦军攻破了楚国。屈原眼看着自己的祖国被侵略却无能为力，他在五月初五这天抱石投汨罗江以殉国，用自己的生命谱写了一曲壮丽的爱国主义乐章。

屈原死后，人们怀念他、崇敬他。每到端午节人们便把食物用苇叶包起来，投入江中，作为敬献给他的祭品。每年的五月初五，就有了吃粽子的风俗，以此来纪念爱国诗人屈原。

虽然这个传说有些神化，但是千百年来屈原一直被人们祭奠，他的诗句“路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索”广为传诵，着实令人景仰。

又到端午，又闻粽香，又祭屈原。

屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节是中国的一个传统节日。端午节我们都吃粽子，这个大家都知道。当然还有不止一个习俗，比如赛龙舟，挂香包，采摘艾蒿，喝雄黄酒。

回忆去年的端午节，真是难忘!

端午节，我们一家三口准备在家做粽子。那是我第一次做粽子。我很好奇，也很兴奋。我看到我妈拿出了她早就准备好的原料：粽子，糯米，红枣等等。树叶又大又长又绿。这糯米香，甜，白;这红枣又大又圆又红。光是看这些东西就让我口水直流。一切准备就绪，父亲开始包，只看到他流利地把粽子卷成漏斗状，然后把糯米和红枣塞进粽子里，然后把上面的叶子折叠成三角形。最后，他用绳子把它包起来，做了一个粽子。

我看了说：“这么简单，我来装。”我妈说让她给我指导。我赶紧摇头说：“不用了，不用了，我已经会收拾行李了。看着我就好!”我第一次像父亲一样把树叶卷成一个漏斗，但这难倒了我，我做不到。我往叶子里塞糯米和红枣的时候，不知道叶子不行了，就蹦开了。糯米和红枣突然洒了一地。我很失望，生气地说：“我不装。”爸爸语重心长地对我说：“刚才谁在那里说了简单的话?你为什么这么快就退缩了?当你遇到困难时，你想逃避。做一件事，一定要认真去做。一开始做的不好很正常。只要坚持，就会有好结果。”当我听到父亲的话时，我羞愧得脸像红苹果一样红。

我又走到桌前，坐下来，全心全意地包好。在妈妈的帮助下，我包的第一个粽子出来了。看着它，心里充满了成就感。是的!正经粽子好看!爸爸妈妈笑了，我也笑了。

去年的端午节真的很难忘!我不仅学会了做粽子，还学到了很多道理。今年的端午节还是在意料之中。
