除了紧张、充实的学习生活外，我还拥有轻松、愉快的假期生活。那丰富多采的内容，充实了我的人生，也为童稚的学生生涯增添了几分乐趣与悠然。

茶余饭后去散步是我每天的必修课。漫步在小区的花草旁，呼吸着清香的空气，与花鸟作伴，欣赏着玫瑰的浓郁，百合的高洁，晚饭花的奇特，还有玉兰的娇美，美人蕉的绚丽,我会轻轻地对自己说：“生活真是美的。”我用真诚感受身边的五颜六色，用热情欣赏周围的姹紫嫣红。我不由自主地从内心发出：“我，属于大自然!”

更多地，我会一头扎进书的海洋，呼吸着书店、图书馆特有的那种书香的气味，感受漫步书海的乐趣。钻进历史的海洋，我会为秦始皇焚书坑儒的举动而激愤，为霸王别姬的悲惨而落泪，为诸葛亮“出师未捷身先死”扼腕叹息;漫步文学的殿堂，我渐渐体会到宝钗的无奈、黛玉的才华，体会到玛丽的倔强、科林的孱弱，体会到余秋雨的“晨雨初听”、钱钟书的“围城”……

中国文化博大精深，民间有着许许多多传统风俗，如：清明节、元宵节、重阳节、中秋节…在这么多的传统风俗中，我最喜欢五月初五的端午节。

我为什么这么喜欢端午节呢?就让我先讲讲端午节的由来吧!端午节是为了纪念我国爱国诗人屈原。据《史记》记载，屈原是楚怀王的大臣，因受到楚怀王重用，而被小人嫉妒，在楚怀王面前毁谤屈原，屈原渐渐不得重用，最后甚至将屈原流放，屈原满怀悲愤，写下了绝笔作《怀沙》后，投江自尽。而端午节这个节日，就是为了表达楚国人民对屈原的爱戴之情，我也很尊敬屈原这就是我喜欢端午节的原因。

说到端午节的主要习俗，自然是赛龙舟啦!在五月初五这一天，人们都要划龙舟，寓意为：用划龙舟驱散江中的鱼，追赶屈原，以寄托自己的哀思。

还记得去年端午节，我们一家起了个大早，这是阳光明媚的一天，我们怀着期待的心情出发去郊外的一座山上，寻找端午节必备的一种植物。正值初夏，真可谓是“迟日江山丽，春风花草香”，初夏的山中，山花烂漫，花草清香。站在这天然氧吧中让人心旷神怡。柳暗花明又一村，在山上的一个拐角处，我们找到了我们这次目标——艾草。艾草生长在土埂上，从上到下都是细细的一条，它们簇拥在一起，微风吹过时可以看到叶子的正面是绿色的，反面看起来像白白的绒毛，我们高兴地扑向了它，把它裁了下来，立刻飘来一股淡淡的清香，我们高高兴兴地回家去，把艾草挂在了家门口。

回家后，我们立刻开始制作端午节最期盼的食物——粽子。大家都忙碌起来，有的泡粽叶、有的淘糯米、有的洗花生，有的剥红枣，忙得不亦乐乎。包粽子时先把粽叶折成漏斗形，然后再把糯米倒入再加上一些红枣、花生点缀，然后捆绑起来就完工了，没一会儿就把所有的粽子都包好了，看着一排排的粽子就像是一块块的绿宝石。这时候就可以下锅煮了，当水沸腾时，屋里弥漫着粽叶的清香，糯米的米香。让我们很期待粽子能马上出锅。

这就是我喜爱的端午节!

今天是农历五月初五，也就是端午节。

我们一家早早起床，一边煮着粽子，一边打开电视看端午庆祝的节目。

节目可真精彩，什么包粽子啊，赛龙舟啊，抢鸭子啊，真是精彩极了。不一会儿，香喷喷的粽子上桌了，全家人一见到粽子，一窝蜂地抢起来，不一会儿就抢光了。香而糯的粽子一咬下去，顿时满嘴清香。怪不得一年只有今天才能吃到它。

妈妈给我讲起了端午节的历史来：“端午节又称端阳节、午日节等。中国的端午节以前是祭祀河神、祈求收成的节日。人们在这期间，会举行一系列的祭祀活动，希望河神高兴、五谷丰登。据说，屈原在五月初五这天投汨罗江，死后被蛟龙所困。于是，每年这天人们都要投五色粽子在水中，以驱赶蛟龙。又传，屈原投汨罗江后，当地百姓闻讯马上划船进茫茫的洞庭湖里，一直行至洞庭湖，那是时，恰逢雨天，人们纷纷划进茫茫的洞庭湖里。为了寄托哀思，人们荡舟江河之上，此后才逐渐发展成为龙舟竞赛.所以，端午节吃粽子、赛龙舟是为了纪念屈原。端午节其实不仅是为了纪念屈原，还是为了纪念遭陷害的伍子胥、孝女曹娥、爱戴黎明百姓的陈临和划龙舟操练水军的勾践这四人。端午节时要挂艾叶和菖蒲。将艾叶剪为虎形悬入堂中，可以避邪去瘴;把菖蒲插入门楣，有驱魔衭鬼之神效。吃粽子和饮雄黄酒是端午节必做之事。粽子是用苇叶包米，米可以是糯米或江米，馅料则多以小枣为主，有些人是用腊肉。雄黄酒可以驱虫解五毒，小孩涂在额头上。把它洒在墙壁间可以杀毒。端午节还有‘游百病’、‘佩香囊’等习俗”

听了妈妈的话，我恍然明白：端午节使我们中华民族的文化精髓，我们都应为保护和发扬这个优良的文化传统而努力!
