“五月是歌舞的日子，树叶芬芳。每天都有好心情。几个红枣几颗心，祝你幸福快乐……”当我妈妈读这篇文章时，我知道端午节就要到了。

端午节的时候，妈妈准备包些粽子，让我帮她一把。我欣然同意。

我和妈妈早早起床，手拉手去市场买做粽子的原料。我妈精心挑选了一些粽子叶，买了十斤糯米。我哭着要吃肉饺子，妈妈笑着说：“好，好!小猫，给你包肉饺子!”转身买了两斤猪肉和一些红枣红豆。

回到家，妈妈让我把叶子洗干净，用水烧开，然后把洗好的叶子放入水中，轻轻地煮，然后把煮好的叶子放入盛有冷水的锅里，泡一会儿。妈妈解释说：“这样叶子就不会变黄了，绿色的叶子包在粽子里也可以很好看。”

粽子叶准备好了，是时候拌馅了。妈妈把肉切成小方块，倒了些酱油、鸡精和盐，腌了半个小时才尝出来。我以我妈为榜样，把糯米、红枣、红豆洗干净，最后把红枣、红豆按比例倒进糯米里。哇!白米红枣红豆太美了，像一盆闪闪发光的珍珠龙舌兰。

开始做粽子。我挪到一张小板凳上，坐在妈妈旁边。从我妈的样子学来的，拿出一个大一点的粽子叶，打算包个小粽子。我先把叶子包成漏斗状，然后把“珍珠”放进漏斗里，用手轻轻一按，三角形粽子的形状就出现了。我赶紧把叶子沿着三角形粽子的轮廓缠绕，但粽子似乎不起作用。我太努力了，树叶都碎了。还好大米没有漏出行业。我胡乱给粽子上了发条。这不是粽子!那是一个受伤的士兵，我忍不住笑出声来。

在妈妈的悉心指导下，我终于变成了一个长相讨人喜欢的饺子。我一遍又一遍的包装，一遍又一遍的学习。最后，我和妈妈把所有的米都打包在一起。看着自己的杰作，我满意地笑了。

晚上吃自己包的粽子，心很美。

My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious. examda.

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.
