Math, I can quickly understand the question, seize the key points, clever problem solving; Do Chinese reading questions, because of the large amount of reading, I rarely lose points on it. Composition is my strengths, my composition is often happy, as my class! When writing blog, because of large amount of reading, writing articles is often recommended.

Now, I have become a veritable little bookworm, reading, nature will grow with me.

说起阅读，那可是和我有着很深的缘分呢!在阅读中，我学到了很多知识，懂得了很多道理。使我受益匪浅!

小时候，不管我喜欢不喜欢，妈妈总会在睡觉前给我讲一个“睡前故事”，还和我一起“读书”。渐渐的，我就喜欢上了书本，一直想自己去看书。

慢慢地，我已经到了上幼儿园的年龄了。这个时候，我开始尝试着去读一些绘本了，这个时候的我，从绘本中明白了很多道理，懂了很多知识。而且，妈妈还给我订了《幼儿画报》，我看起来总是爱不释手。有一次，我正在看《幼儿画报》，妈妈大声喊我吃饭，我却连听都没听见，继续看自己的《幼儿画报》，过了一会儿，妈妈等不及了，走过来让我去吃饭，我这才梦如初醒般的，走到了饭桌上。

很快，我上小学了，妈妈就在邮局给我订了《我们爱科学》、《小哥白尼》、《科学探索》等书，也在图书馆里借了很多书，还在网上给我买了很多好书!我呢，也经常习惯性地钻研家里的好书，很快，我就把很多书都钻了个透，在这期间，我掌握了大量的知识，比如看科普类的书：我知道了树是由顶端开始生长的、纸张最多可以折七次、蜡烛在水里也可以燃烧、摩擦力在生活中的应用等;看历史方面的书：让我知道了中华五千年的文明历史、知道了我国古代的四大发明、知道了很多的名人趣事、知道了“水可载舟，亦可覆舟”的深刻道理;看文学方面的书：让我懂得了很多做人的道理、做人要善良、要有爱心、要懂得感恩、对他人要宽容、做事要持之以恒、要勇敢等。

因为大量的阅读，还让我的学习更优秀。做数学题时，我能很快的读懂题意，抓住关键点，巧妙解题;做语文的阅读题时，由于阅读量大，我很少在这上面失分。作文就更是我的强项，我的作文常被作为班里范文呢!在写博客的时候，因为阅读量大，写出的文章时常被推荐。

现在，我已经成为了一只名副其实的小书虫，阅读呢，自然将伴着我成长。

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing.

On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt

to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy,

for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework. In the

morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning

from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the

afternoon. There are many more subjects than in middle school, Chinese, math,

English, physics, chemistry, history and so on. Sometimes, I am afraid of seeing

so many textbooks in my desk. In addition, the contents are much more difficult

than before. Math and physics are the most difficult ones for me. No matter how

hard I work, I still can’t do well in them, which makes me frustrated.

Therefore, in the new beginning, I must change my learning strategies to make my

work more effective. All in all, my new life in new school is good and rich,

though it’s busy.

一年一度的端午节又到了，它是我国的传统节日，但它是怎么来的呢?通过查资料，我了解到：原来，端午是为了纪念屈原一样的爱国人士的，而且，端午节有很多习俗：包粽子、赛龙舟、做香囊等。我喜欢吃粽子，这次也不例外，我和妈妈一起包粽子。

我们准备了许多材料：有粽叶、糯米、红枣和咸肉等。

开始包粽子了。妈妈先把糯米浸泡在水里，再把粽叶和红枣放入水中清洗一下，将枣核去掉;然后，把浸泡好的糯米放入铺平的粽叶里，包成三角状，不封口;接着，将处理好的红枣放进去，又在上面撒了一层糯米，封上口;最后，在粽子外面系上腰带。我也跟着做。很快，一个一个口味不一的小粽子做好了，它们排成一排，可爱得很!妈妈把它们放入锅里，用中火蒸。我开启了等待之旅。

不大一会儿，美味的粽子就要出锅了。那香喷喷的气味勾引我来到了锅前，打开锅盖，抓起一个粽子：“哎呀!呼呼!好烫!”我慌忙扔掉粽子，把伸出去的手又抽了回来。妈妈转个头来提醒我：“小心点儿，你这个小贪吃鬼!别添乱了，还是让我来吧!”说完，妈妈拿来筷子，把粽子一个一个夹到盘子里，端到桌上。这些三角形的粽子，像一座座小山，堆在盘子里，真好看!我耐心等了一会儿，等粽子不烫了，拿起一个粽子，解开它的带子，脱掉它的绿衣服，狼吞虎咽地吃了起来。一旁的爸爸见我吃得这么香，笑了，说：“吃粽子是为了纪念像屈原一样的爱国人士，我们可不能忘记他们。”我若有所思地点了点头：爸爸说得对，绝对不能忘记这些为国付出的人。

这次的端午节，我觉得自己又长大了一岁：作为中国人，我定要向屈原他们学习，做一个热爱祖国的好男儿!

A Chinese holiday is gaining worldwide popularity

Some holidays are so much fun that they catch on outside of their culture. The most obvious example is probably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who arent even Christian. Similarly, in recent years, the Dragon Boat Festival has moved beyond China to become an international holiday celebrated by people who may know little about the holidays origins.

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three major Chinese holidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 B.C. The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water.

Over the years, the story of Qus demise transformed into the traditions of racing dragon boats and eating zongzi – a kind of rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.

So what is it about the Dragon Boat Festival that appeals to foreigners? “Its an unusual sport,” says one racer from Germany. “Its not like everybodys doing it. Thats one of the reasons that theres such great team spirit in a dragon boat team – everybody feels like were doing something special.” And what about the zongzi? “Ehhh, theyre not bad, I guess,” he says. “Something of an acquired taste. I just havent really acquired it yet.”

梅子熟透将来，端午的脚步款步而来。“她从花明柳暗细雨如丝的江南走来，从绿阴如盖柳树含烟的梦中走来，从我深深地凝眸中走来了。”这是当代词作家丰桦对端午节的赞美。

我的家乡在东北的山区。村庄的四周是连绵起伏的群山，山上“佳木秀而繁阴”。一条清澈的小溪在巍峨的山涧溢出，淌过炊烟缭绕，鸡鸣狗叫的村庄。千百年来，古朴安宁的村庄就如此静静的躺在大山的怀抱中，吸收着大地的灵气，沐浴着阳光的光辉。

野鹃花开过不久，就到端午节了。于是，我处在异国他乡而又回忆起在故乡过端午节的情景来家乡的端午节，不少风俗跟外地一样系百索子，端午的前一天晚上凌晨3，4点钟，妈妈起床，把事先筹备好的五色小绳系在小孩的手脖子上。小绳是掉色的，沾了水，把手腕染的红一色，青一色，好玩极了。

端午节过了，等到第一场雨，小孩睡着后妈妈在悄悄的把小声解下来，扔在水里让雨水将其冲走。

用五彩的纸叠了连环小宝灯挂在门楣上，象征着一年的五谷丰登，衣食无忧。

记忆最深的是我8岁那年的端午节。那年，不知怎的，我身上起了又大又紫，肿的流脓的脓包，疼得我不能安宁，这个时候八一公公说“毛毛，你等着，我去弄些薆蒿来。”直到下午，他才回来。我听人家说这玩意放在水里煮沸后，用水洗澡，能治百病。我洗完澡后果真不疼了。第三天，就好了。

事后我问八一公公缘由。他说“你这娃子走运，逢上端午节，不然，可够你受得!”我到今天也不知道他的意思。大概是因为恰逢上这个充满神奇色彩的节日吧!

家乡也要泡端午酒。再下过春季的第一场雨后，家家户户就已经将端午酒放入地下深埋发酵。里面放6样东西，那就是：北枣，荔枝，枸杞，橄榄，桂圆和杏仁。端午酒入嘴清香，可谓“泉香而酒洌。”端午酒还可以被人长生不老呢!!!现在，母亲也照猫画虎，材料一样，但入嘴后口味却不同。我提醒母亲：“你用的是这里的酒，而不是家乡自己酿的酒啊!”

我同母亲已离开家乡多年，但故乡的山山水水，人情风俗在我心屏上总不可以抹去。今年的端午节已经过完，我多想问问：亲爱的乡亲们，你们又酿端午酒了吗?

37岁的我端坐在波音747客机上，庞大的机体穿过厚重的夹雨云层，俯身向汉堡机场降落。11月砭人肌肤的冷雨将大地涂得一片阴沉，使得身披雨衣的地勤工、呆然垂向地面的候机楼上的旗，以及bmw广告板等的一切的一切，看上去竟同佛兰德派抑郁画幅的背景一般。罢了罢了，又是德国，我想。

once the plane was on the ground soft music began to flow from the ceiling speakers: a sweet orchestral cover version of the beatles " norwegian wood". the melody never failed to send a shudder through me, but this time it hit me harder than ever.

飞机刚一着陆，天花板扩音器中低声传出轻柔的背景音乐，那是一个管弦乐队演奏的甲壳虫乐队的《挪威的森林》。那旋律一如往日地使我难以自已。这一次，比往日还要强烈地摇撼着我的身心。

i bent forward in my seat, face in hands to keep my skull from splitting open. before long one of the german stewardesses approached and asked in english if i was sick. "no," i said, just dizzy"

为了不使头脑胀裂，我弯下腰，双手捂脸。很快，一位德国空中小姐走来，用英语问我是不是不大舒服。我答说："不要紧，只是有点晕。

"are you sure?"

"yes, im sure. thanks."

she smiled and left, and the music changed to a billy joel tune. i straightened up and looked out the plane window at the dark clouds hanging over the north sea, thinking of what i had lost in the course of my life: times gone forever, friends who had died or disappeared, feelings i would never know again.

i do need that time, though for naokos face to appear. and as the years have passed, the time has grown longer. the sad truth is that what i could recall in five seconds all too soon needed ten, then thirty, then a full minute——like shadows lengthening at dusk. someday, i suppose, the shadows will be swallowed up in darkness. there is no way around it: my memory is growing ever more distant from the spot where naoko used to stand-ever more distant from the spot where my old self used to stand. and nothing but scenery, that view of the meadow in october, returns again and again to me 1ike a symbolic scene in a movie. each time it appears, it delivers a kick to some part of my mind. "wale up," it says. "i’m still here! wake up and think about it. think about why im still here." the kicking never hurt me. theres no pain at all. just a hollow sound that echoes with each kick. and even that is bound to fade one day. at the hamburg airport, though, the kicks were longer and harder than usual which is why i am writing this book: to think. to understand! it just happens to be the way im made. i have to write things down to feel i fully comprehend them.

但是，让直子的面影在我脑海中浮现出来，我总是需要一点时间。而且，随着岁月的流逝，所需的时间愈来愈长。这固然令人悲哀，但事实就是如此。起初5秒即可想起，渐次变成10秒、30秒、1分钟。它延长得那样迅速，竟同夕阳下的阴影一般，并将很快消融在冥冥夜色之中。哦，原来我的记忆正在同直子原来站立的位置步步远离，甚至逐渐远离自己一度站过的位置。而惟独风景，惟独那片10月草地的风景，宛如电影中的象征性镜头，在我的脑际反复推出。并且那风景执着地连连踢我的脑袋，说着："起来，我可还在这里哟!起来，起来想想，思考一下我为什么还在这里。"不过这种踢法一点也不痛，一脚踢来，只是发出空洞的声响。甚至这声响或迟或早也将杳然远逝。但是在这汉堡机场，它们踢得比往常更长久、更有力：起来，理解我!惟其如此，我才动笔写这篇文字。我必须形诸文字，才能弄得水落石出。

The Internet is becoming more and more important in our daily life. On the net, we can learn news both at home and abroad and all kinds of other information as well. We can also send messages by e-mail, make phone calls, go to net school, read different kinds of books and learn foreign languages by ourselves. Besides, we can enjoy music, watch sports matches and play chess or cards. On the net, we can even do shopping, have a chat with others and make friends with them. In a word, the Internet has made our life more colourful.
