Zongzi is an essential food of the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said that people ate them in the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). Sweet sweet jujube dumplings for us, especially my mother and I like it best. You can also eat with your elders and sisters at your grandmothers house, and enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival, but this year, it is not so lively. Uncle and aunt went out to earn money. Uncle went out with his sister. There were only three family members and grandparents. It looks very cold.

听大人们说，端午节是为了纪念爱国诗人屈原而设立的节日。农历五月初五，屈原投江自尽，人们为了哀悼屈原先生，便将食物用叶子包住扔进江中，希望鱼虾不去啃食屈原的身体，后来就演变成了包粽子得习俗。去年的端午节，亲爱的姥姥教我包粽子!

需要准备的材料有：若干糯米，十几颗红枣，苇叶一把，棉线一团，还有一把剪子。

激动人心的时刻到来了，我迫不及待地看着制作过程。首先，姥姥将一片苇叶卷成一个圆锥形，然后轻轻的将糯米填入圆锥的一半，再放入两颗红红的大枣，就像白色珍珠里面镶嵌着绚丽多彩的翡翠呢!接着继续覆盖糯米，填到快溢出来的样子，使馅料充满整个粽子，这样有利于后面的包裹。最后，按照螺旋的手法，从苇叶的另一端开始对折叶片，卷到最后时，只见姥姥留一点儿小尾巴，用棉线从底部成十字捆绑粽子，捆好不散，就可以上锅蒸了。

姥姥这番娴熟的操作，看得我是眼花缭乱，惊羡不已。我有些不甘心，决定自己也包一个胖嘟嘟的粽子。但是我的手有点小，苇叶没有包得很紧实，刚刚放入锅中，只听“哗啦”一声，糯米像长了腿一样，跑的满锅都是。我有些失落，姥姥却对我语重心长地说：“加油宝贝，失败是成功之母，总结经验!”于是我鼓起了勇气，小手紧紧的捆绑住粽子，一次两次三次，哇!我成功了，属于我的第一个粽子问世啦!我兴奋得手舞足蹈!

大约一个小时，粽子的清香缓缓的从蒸锅中溢了出来，我贪婪地嗅着这一丝丝，一缕缕的粽香，口水忍不住地往下流......

我小心翼翼地剥开嫩绿色的粽叶，一股甜腻腻的糯米香扑鼻而来，乳白色的糯米镶嵌着红色的宝石，令人陶醉。再沾点白糖，轻轻地咬伤一口，嗯......又香又甜的味道好极了，一直沁入我的心脾!
