As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.

After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. 这次的成绩对我来说是一百个不满意，也使我在同学面前非常羞愧，我暗暗下定决心：首先我要合理利用暑假这个大好时光，把掌握不牢固的知识全部补回来，并在这个基础上提前预习五年级的知识，比别人更胜一级，妈妈也告诉我一句话：“不怕同桌是学霸，就怕同桌过暑假。”这句话使我有了感悟，我应该比别人更努力来弥补自己学习的不足之处，只有更努力的人才会有更多的收获。虽然这次成绩不是很理想，但是我并没有放弃学习，我要学会不懂就问，也要温故而知新。

To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the

West.

The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the

lunar New Year‘s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar

calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern

Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the

country.

Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before

Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go

to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.

During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to

children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling

for dinner.

This is the second time for mr. brown to visit jinan. during his stay in

shandong, he will visit several schools. net week mr. brown will visit some

places. first, he will take a train to taian to climb mount tai. then he will go

to qufu by bus to visit the temple of confucius. after that, he will return to

jinan by bus. then he will fly to qingdao for a visit. there he will stay for

some days and give a talk on american english. at last he will take a plane to

go back to america from qingdao.

mr. brown comes to shandong for a visit to several schools. he is in jinan

now. this is the second time for him to come here. net week he will visit some

places. first, he wants to go to taian by train to climb mount tai. then he will

visit the temple of confucius in qufu. after he returns to jinan by bus, he will

fly to qingdao to stay there for some days. there he will give a talk on

american english. after the talk, he will fly back to america and end his visit

As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the

classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I

When I was younger , I went through an thing which deeply influence me.

One day,I went to school as Usually. All of a sudden,I heard a voice

crying.I knew there were something wrong . So I walked towards the direction of

the voice .Then I found a child and his mother wandered off.My heart full of

compassion . So I decided to help him find his mother , and I took him to the

police station nearby . Then I went to school in a hurry , but when I arrived,I

found I’m still late . After my teacher’s preaching , I went back to the

classroom .I was so upset.

In the afternoon, my teacher asked me go out,he said he had wronged me. And

To swim the English Channel takes at least nine hours. Its hard work and it makes you short of breath. Why is this idea being discussed again? Is Britain realizing the need for links with Europe as a result of joining EEC? Well, perhaps. The main reason , though, is that a tunnel or bridge would reach the twenty square kilometers of Londons discussed stimulate trade and revitalise the port, and would ,make London a main trading center in Europe. With a link over the channel, you could buy your fish and chips in England and be able to eat them in France while they are still warm!

For the first time in everyones experience! For example: the first time to

physical strength is naturally consumed and the knowledge is not much. Im

sweating!! Seeing thousands of houses, cars and pedestrians under my feet, I

secretly encouraged myself: there is still a little way to go, stick to it, and

soon climb to the top of the mountain, dont be discouraged, learn to stick to it

on this road! Only persistence can make people succeed! Time flows silently on

me. I climb to the top of the mountain. I am ecstatic and rush forward in one
