Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I am glad that I have overcome the difficulties and adapted the new life of college. I have achieved a lot more than I expected at my first year of college. First of all, I have made new friends who share the same hobbies and met new teachers who inspire me in all way. Secondly, I have become more independent. I have got used to a new way of study and often study different things by myself. I can take care of myselfwithout parents being by my side all the time. Last but not least, I have learnt to make full use of my time. I believe time management is a very essential skill in college life as we have more freedom than ever before. It has helped me not to waste time and turned me into a well-organized person.

My first year at college is excellent and I really appreciate all that I have learnt this year.

The earth is our biggest home, we have only one earth, if not protect the earth. The earth will be destroy. All of us to do environmental small guards together!

This weekend, we invite good classmates to pick up garbage on the hill. Picking up litter is a kind of learning lei fengs spirit, is also a kind of protection of the environment. When we picking up litter, picked up a lot of rubbish, plastic bags, toilet paper, waste battery and so on. Also see someone spit sputum. First take plastic bags to say! The wind blows, the blowing plastic bags into the sky and fell into the sea, in a variety of Marine life accidentally eat plastic bags into the belly, will face the death. So we should reduce use of plastic bags when shopping, use cloth bag. Also, when we were going out to reduce your driving, can reduce vehicle exhaust emissions, we can use to walk or ride a bicycle, or take a bus to go out. And we must not use one-off chopsticks, otherwise, our trees will soon be cut down by people. And we must protect the water and soil, so we can kind of many trees and flowers. Plants and trees is to protect the earth, we should protect the plants and trees.

Our heads with a piece of blue sky, feet with a piece of land. Common destiny brought us together tightly, protect the earth. Let us join hands to actively carry out publicity activities, and take action to try to make our earth mother to restore youthful energy, make our earth mother appearance glows forever!

地球是我们最大的家，我们只有一个地球，要是没有保护好地球。地球就会被消灭掉。我们大家一起来做环保小卫士吧!

周末，我们约好同学一起去山上捡垃圾。捡垃圾是一种学雷锋的精神，也是一种保护环境的行为。我们捡垃圾时，捡了许多的垃圾，有塑料袋、卫生纸、废电池等等。还看见别人随地吐的痰。就先拿塑料袋来说吧!风一吹，就把塑料袋吹到了天空，在掉到了海洋里，各种海洋生物不小心把塑料袋吃进了肚子，就将面临着死亡。所以我们购物时应减少使用塑料袋，用布袋。还有，我们要出门的时候要减少自己开车，就会减少车辆尾气的排放，我们可以用步行或骑自行车，或是坐公交车出门。还有我们一定不要用一次性筷子，不然我们的树木很快会被人们砍伐完。还有我们一定要保护好水和土，这样我们就可以种很多的花草树木。花草树木是地球的保护之物，我们要保护好花草树木。

我们头顶同一片蓝天，脚踏同一片土地。共同的命运把我们紧紧联系在一起，保护地球。让我们携起手来，积极开展宣传活动，并加以行动，努力让我们的地球妈妈恢复年轻活力，让我们的地球妈妈永远容颜焕发!

保护环境，人人有责。

Im in No.8 Middle School in Guizhong province.Because Im in Grade 9 now, I must compete with my classmates. So I have a busy school life.

I often get up at 6:30 to go to school every week day .I feel tired because I cannot have enough sleep.I have to burn the midnight oil at ningt because of too much homework and much books.I have 4 classes in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.I have 2 evening classes in the evening as well.I can have a nap at noon. I sometimes play sports with my classmates after class.But as usual,I go over my subjects in the classroom.

Though I have a busy school life,I did not make myself unhappy.I known I must put my heart into my study.There will be a very important exam in June next year.I will study hard for my bright future.

I have spent a happy summer holiday now.The most enjoyable thing that happened during this summer was to swim with my brother.

My brother was a good swimmer ,who had swum for about 3 years.

We went swimming together on a hot sunny day to the nearest swimming pool.I liked the swimming very much because that day the sun was burning on us making us feel so hot.In the cool water we cooled down our bodies and exercised.

It is the most joyful thing that has ever occured to me.

Making Every Day Earth Day

Now the earth is in bad condition. For example, in some places, the air and water pollution is so serious that it causes many deaths. At the same time, many animals and plants are in danger because of the destruction of their habitats.

Luckily, we human beings have realized the problem. On April 22nd, millions of people across the world do something good for the earth. Some clean up beaches and water, some pick up rubbish, others give speeches to call on more people to take action. But can we save the earth only by one day’s work? The future of our planet depends on our efforts. What we should do is to make every day Earth Day. Only by taking good care of it every day can we hope to live in harmony with nature.

宁静的夜晚，微风轻拂，天上繁星点点，奶奶正絮絮地说着过去的生活，感叹现在生活的美好，而我望着天上的星星，思绪却一点一点地飘到了未来，想象着未来的自己……

清晨，在绿树的掩映之中，淡淡的清香沁人心脾，镂空的花窗中洒落一地斑斑驳驳的阳光，鸟儿放开喉咙，演唱着一首首快乐的歌，我从鸟儿的叫声中醒来，穿上机器人昭昭精心准备的衣服，洗漱过后，吃着机器人昭昭做的豆浆和油条，你可别小看这豆浆和油条，豆浆可是由纯天然的大豆磨碎、过滤、煮沸而成的，喝起来十分醇香，营养非常丰富，且易于消化吸收，唇齿留香。油条则是纯天然优质小麦面粉做成的，口感松脆有韧劲，富含大量矿物质。我的机器人昭昭可真是一位美食家呢！吃过饭，做了一会儿关节操，便乘坐我的飞行器去上学了。广场上有人在漫步，舞剑，打太极，人们脸上洋溢着幸福而友善的神情。路上，高耸入云的大楼，景色如画的公园，湛蓝的天空上有雪白的云朵在飘动。道路干净又宽敞，路边有许多茂盛的小草和葱茏的树木，四周弥漫着四溢的花香，久久不散，令人心旷神怡。

“主人！主人！外面有一个坏人！”到了中午，机器人昭昭向我发来紧急通报，我心里十分着急，急忙坐着小飞机回到了家里，却已经看不到坏人了，我终于安下心来，问昭昭刚才是怎样赶走坏人的，昭昭自豪的说那个“坏人”走错了，现在应该已经回到家了。我无话可说，原来人家是走错了啊。我和昭昭在一起吃午饭，讨论学校里发生的趣事，窗外，树枝轻轻摇晃着，叶片上还带着未曾蒸发的露珠，鱼儿追逐游戏，欢快地游着。小溪欢快地唱着歌谣，溪水中的阳光也在跳着舞，闪烁着耀眼的光芒，溪水碰到了石头，荡起了一圈的碧波。我吃完午饭，睡了一会儿后便又去上学了。

到了晚上，我上了一天课，十分疲倦地回到了家里，昭昭却已经把晚饭给做好了，吃完晚饭后，我写完了作业，看了一会儿书，便洗漱睡觉了。风姑娘悄然的来访，用手调皮的掀开了窗帘，星星眨巴着眼睛，月光像银纱织出朦胧的细雾一样，倾泻在水面上、树叶上，像滑落的细丝，越来越浓。水边，风姑娘悄无声息的到来，掀起了一阵银色的波澜，水中的月影成了破碎的玉片，零零散散的漂浮在水面上

“轩，咋还不睡觉呢？赶紧睡觉吧，明天还要上学呢，小心迟到了。”我的思绪又一点一点地飘了回来，看见奶奶睡眼朦胧地看着我，我也只好闭上眼睛，安静睡觉了。

全面建设小康社会，不在于口头行动，而在于付诸行动。在未来，我们不仅要建设小康社会，还要与自然和谐相处，那时祖国才会变得更加富强，生活会变得更加美好！
