As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. My English teacher is a woman of medium-height. She is in her thirties. She always has a smile on her face and a kind word for her students. Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. 奶奶老，但不糊涂。每次她因耳朵不好使而反复询问我们说了些什么的时候，我总会拿些与之无关的话来搪塞过去。然后，奶奶就会静静的坐在一旁，缄默不语。这时，我感到惭愧，深深的惭愧，我那些自以为聪明的做法真是卑劣至极。

奶奶也能察觉到我们的情绪，甚至一个微小的动作。我总是爱发些莫名其妙的脾气，在一边的奶奶终是沉默，只是会去自己卧室擦掉即将落下的泪。

回家时，黄昏下，奶奶孤身一人站在门口，金黄的光线将她的轮廓模糊，背影是何等的孤独寂寥。

有人疼爱是一种特别幸福的事情，我就有一个疼爱我的人，那就是您，我的奶奶。奶奶我想您了!

您总能给我烧各式各样好吃的饭菜，我最喜欢吃的就是土豆饼啦。记忆中，我总是缠着你给我做土豆饼。记得有一次您烧好土豆饼，满心欢喜地端到我面前，我吃了一口，好咸呀，便仰着小脸儿问你，奶奶，您的汗是不是掉到土豆饼里啦?怎么这么咸呀?您赶紧尝了一口，说，真的`不咸。当时我心里有点埋怨你，您把土豆饼做得这么咸我怎么吃呀?后来才从爸爸口中得知，因为您从小生活在海边一直吃的比较咸，而且以前家里穷，菜吃的咸就可以少吃菜多吃饭。我听了以后感到很愧疚，自责了好久。

还记得有一次我不小心打碎了一个碗，我害怕极了。爸爸走过来批评我。您赶紧走上前来替我说话，哎呀孩子还小，你不要批评他。你小时候还打碎我很多碗呢。

后来，我到了读书的年纪。爷爷每天骑着他的摩托车送我去上学。他坐在前面，我和您坐在后面，我经常坐在你的膝盖上，听您讲故事，您总能逗我开心。每当讲到有趣的故事时，我都格格地笑，看到我的笑容，您也开心地笑。

随着岁月的流逝，您渐渐上了年纪。因为身体的缘故，您没有办法再照顾我了，于是您回宁海老家。在你走的好长一段时间里，我都很不习惯，很想您。每当我哭闹着要去找您的时候，爸爸妈妈都会告诉我，奶奶身体不好，顾不上你了。你要好好吃饭，好好读书，让奶奶放心。

奶奶，谢谢您对我无微不至的照顾和百依百顺的疼爱，谢谢您对我的宽容。特别想对您说，奶奶，您辛苦了。虽然现在聚少离多，但是我会想您的。您放心，现在我长大了，我会照顾好自己的，我会好好读书，让自己变得更优秀。有时间我一定会为老家看您。

我的妈妈是一位普通的农村妇女，才四十岁，却明显地老了，头发干涩无光，笼着一层灰白，脸黑而红，额上和眼角是密密的皱纹，一双微黑而粗糙的手。爸爸每天干活很晚才回家，妈妈就靠这双微黑而粗糙的手料理着这个家。

早晨，妈妈起得特别早，首先为我们准备好早饭，催我快吃早饭去上学。吃完早饭，收拾好碗筷后，妈妈就匆匆下地干活去了。我们家的田地，全是由她一个人忙活，不管夏天多么炎热，冬天多么寒冷，不管风吹日晒雨淋，妈妈总是起早贪黑忙个不停，我看见妈妈很辛苦便劝她说：“妈妈您太辛苦了，歇一歇吧!”妈妈总是微笑着说：“不要紧的，累不着。”

妈妈的辛苦，我是有切身体会的。记得有一次，该收麦子的时候，家里忙得不可开交，恰巧我的脚给扭伤了，不能帮家里干点活了，心里难受极了，而妈妈却说：“少一个人不算什么的，我一个人干活习惯了，你歇着吧。”我听了这话，心里像打翻了五味瓶，甜的、酸的、辣的……一起涌了上来。我的喉咙被什么堵住了一样，一句话也说不出来，也许从那一刻起，我突然想快点长大，如果我长大了，就能替妈妈做许多的事情。 妈妈自己不仅勤劳，而且还教育我要勤劳。“记住，坏事都是从不劳动开始的。”在妈妈的教育下，我学会了许多事情，做饭、叠被子、种菜……只要我能做的，我都做，并且有时候妈妈还同我一起做哩。小的时候，我常常得到劳动后的奖励——几句赞扬的话，外加一阵亲热的拥抱，现在我长大了，做的事情多了，妈妈的赞扬、奖励却少了，但我仍乐于帮妈妈做事，因为妈妈太辛苦了。

每当妈妈辛苦劳动的时候，我就看见妈妈那双粗糙的手，就是那双手为我做了多少事情呀!妈妈整日整夜地照顾我，简直操碎了心，那是一双怎样的手：一双做香喷喷的饭菜的手、一双为我缝缝补补的手、一双勤劳的手、一双万能的手……

妈妈做事都很周全，她总怨我办事不周全，哪里出错了，她都会发火地吵我，我只是静静地听，一个辛苦、勤劳的好妈妈，我觉得有这样一位好妈妈是我的骄傲。
